Wonderful
I enjoyed it: contained much of what I already knew/had heard but also contained points of interest and parts of story that answers questions I have had since childhood. Which, made it perfectly wonderful.

June 22, 2026The Legends of the Jews retells the story of the old testament (Tanakh) until the book of Esther. Unlike the Tanakh it includes a vivid description of characters, untold substories and legends. It seems to illustrate the character of persons mentioned in the Tanakh to a great extent, using miracles, fables and other elements of erudition.

October 8, 2024An interesting book for someone who is into stories from Biblical Times. I sort of augments what we read and are taught in our Sunday Schools and Bible studies. And would relate to Jewish and Islamic backgrounds also. Not for the faint of heart. It is not an easy book.
