Klaus Mikaelson is a first time author and a long time writer. His exploits have been honed through countless years of short stories written on various online forums. Growing up he had a fondness for the darker side of things, villains instead of heroes, evil instead of good and darkness over light. Like many of us, much of his life has been shaped by negativity and suffering. He has brought that zeal for the dark and that suffering to his characters and his stories.

🌸The story starts with a introduction of a boy who lost his mother while giving him birth. This boy was named Arius who had a bad and terrible childhood and later became famous and was known as Sir Arius Crane and beloved new knight and future Lieutenant ARIUS CRANE.

🌸Although it’s a tale about a girl and a boy, starting pages only talk about Arius, his personal life, childhood and triumph. Then few chapters have a conversation between Arius, Silas, Dom and Faustus at the camp and their women tales.
Entry of sorceress who remade Lieutenant Crane, plucked him from the cold grip of death and returned him to the land of the living.

🌸The love story starts with chapter 11, a girl with raven hair- Alexandria Ashburn-Calloway, wife to a murdered husband, daughter to murdered parents, mother to a murdered child.
Her kind heart is tested to the point it tarnishes her view of the world and everyone in it. She lived for love, now she'll die for vengeance.
Will Arius help the homeless, save her life, be a help to her. The bond starts with a fire and emotional turnmoil. Now the story starts about Arius and Alexandria.
Forged by pain, driven by suffering, two unlikely souls brave their own darkness to overcome the corruption sweeping over the Kingdom of Mordare. Will they be its salvation or damnation?

"Who they were in life, they surpassed in death."

🌸It’s a lengthy story but really intriguing with a detailed view of each and every event and character but the story is quite different from other vampire stories. It’s a recommended read and this story will keep running in your mind for days.

🌸Klaus Mikaelson is a first time Author,
much of his life has been shaped by negativity and suffering. He has brought that zeal for the dark and that suffering to his characters and his stories and that's why this story is mind blowing.

This book has it all action, story, romance, pain and suffering loss and triumph. It builds and builds into a satisfying conclusion that leaves you wanting more.

It's a blend of the witcher and the originals bringing the fear back to vampires.
