When Vivian Campbell is diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she Jets off to Rome Italy in order to unwind and forget about her health when she encounters a man that holds more danger than she and her heart bargained for.
26 yr old writer and mom who's here to add a flare to your mundane romance novels. We all know love isn't easy, so why does every book we come across describe it as such? Love is a journey, one with many elements including drug addiction, mental illness, and physical disabilities.....or fantasy. Vivienne Campbell flies off to Italy after a cancer diagnosis, only to find herself mixed up with Franco Mariano. Vivienne tries her best to keep away from Franco, but he just can't let her go.
This one was pretty hard to put down, but I'm not a fan of the ending. I need a little bit more. An epilogue or something. It was way too quick for me.
I did like that some of the other characters from previous books showed up in this one. They're nor my favorite Carmine couple, but it was nice to see Nadine and Andres.
I like Yvonne Bennet's brand of Dark Romance because she's not afraid to go there. If you like that stuff too, you should try her out.
I was getting into this story until he killed Misha.
Idc what happens she’s dumb asf for seeing him as anything than what he is. I hated this book. Upset that this is my second from the author. Grammar aside I don’t wanna read more if all the “love” stories are actually abuse and rape of bw. This was gross.
I’m giving her this five because I did enjoy the book. Yes he was over the top but I still loved Franco. I should have given it a 3 for editing and grammatical errors. However, the story had elements I like in a strange way. It also ended too quickly. No epilogue. Meh...
This is a story that is so suspenseful and so so very, very well written. The details of the characters, settings, and storyline is just magical. I really hated for the story to end because it felt as if I was watching an Emmy award winning movie. This masterful writer (Ms Yvonne Bennett) deserves an overwhelmingly positive amount of praise for just creating such a dynamic story to share with romance readers that I can't wait to read other books gifted by her. I Highly Recommend this amazing story to all.
I loved the plot of a character with a chronic illness and the romance that her trying to escape her troubles bought for her. I did not like how the male lead changed on her because I loved the beginning of their romance way more than the end. i feel like if he loved her freedom and personality he should have respected that and let her make the choices for her health and if they would continue with a relationship.
I thought the story was sound but, the wording was horrible It didn't flow it was rushed in places and slow in others. I usually get to know the characters thru the authors words The main characters were completely disconnected and just cardboard cut outs. Unfortunately, the story was just bad!!
I get tired of trying to translate what authors want to say. If I didn't have kindle unlimited, I definitely wouldn't purchase this book for keeps. Also found this a bit rambling and it bored me quickly. Some might like this book but for me, meh...
I enjoyed the twists and turns; however the editor did a poor job at proofreading. There is a significant amount of typo and grammatical errors. Maybe if story was read about loud the errors would have been caught.
Enjoyable read, in spite of poor editing, I enjoyed the book's storyline. There was a lot of what does something mean in words & deeds, and finding out it's not what you imagine. At least, though forced, and through unimaginable loss, and questions as to, why, these experiences were happening. Could love be involved? The answer is interesting. It kept my attention and curiosity. A good read.
This is scary to think if you travel by yourself you could happen upon a real live deranged person. One that is so far out of your range that it forfeits your freedom, and cost people their lives. On the other hand, who in Franco’s group was feeding information to Flavio? How did he know so much about Vivian?
