Well, let me just say that while I’m so glad I read this trilogy, I’m sad it’s over. Nikki Lewen really nailed it. I’m left wanting more. Not because she didn’t end it well, but because I just want more time with Sadie, Caleb, Clara, Anna, Jose and the rest of the family they managed to build throughout the story.

Three Sisters Destined is yet another wild ride. Sadie continues to grow as a leader, while trying to balance humanity with what needs to be done to free the innocent. The way she can gain trust and encourage others is absolutely amazing. Her heartbreak has led her to her life’s mission. She is able to heal a bit in this book, though questions her actions at time. The reader will experience every emotion possible - from fear to happiness and everything in between.

Sadie is fierce in her commitment to rid the world of Splitters. She is not going to stop until she feels she has eliminated every possible threat to the innocent. Will she succeed? Guess you will have to read it to find out…

Sadie Larkin is the wonderful protagonist in this great trilogy. Through these novels, we follow Sadie as she survives and helps fellow survivors from the vicious Splitter Nation. With her cross bow and great determination to make the best new world possible, Sadie fights to conquer the evil President X and the Splitter Nation army.

Nikki Lewen has delivered three great books that will you rooting for a great heroine. Nikki's character development and writing is impeccable. From the first chapter to the last line in book three, you are left wanting more. I truly loved this series and I can’t wait to read more of Nikki's work.

Book three in this trilogy has just as much action, if not more, than book two. It’s a fast, exciting read that charges ahead with each turn of the page. For better or for worse, the character of Sadie becomes almost like a God as you read through all three stories. By the end of the trilogy, what she’s done in the amount of time it has happened feels almost impossible. There are also certain aspects of the story that feel too good to be true but are never proven false. This led me to struggle a bit with believability.

This author does a really great job of writing characters you can connect with on some level. You understand them, you root for them, and celebrate their wins with them. She also does a good job in these second two books of creating some tension between some of the main characters. I found myself wanting to skip to the last few pages to ease my anxiety because I was so worried about what would happen to everyone.

One of my biggest challenges with this entire trilogy is how easy everything seems for the main character. Any failures she experiences are so minor, they’re more of an inconvenience than an actual problem. And what minor issues do occur seem as though they’re mentioned more in passing than shown in depth. They’re often resolved very quickly, sometimes even in a paragraph or two. I do find myself rooting for her throughout the story, but, at the same time, I also feel like life in this post-apocalyptic world is just a little too easy for her. I do appreciate how giving she is. However, this also starts to feel unrealistic. But if you can look past these minor believability challenges with some aspects of the story, this author has created a beautiful example of what has the potential to happen when the right people come together for a good cause.

I think the best part about this trilogy is the incredibly satisfying ending. After so much uncertainty, so much anxiety building up, I was so relieved by the end. The last few chapters really wrap everything up in a neat little bow, which is difficult to do when you’ve followed this story across three novels.

If you’re looking for action, adventure, and excellent characters in a post-apocalyptic world, the Three Sisters Trilogy is definitely one you should check out!

Sadie's adenture and epic battle against The Splitter Nation continues in the 3rd and final book of the Three Sisters trilogy.
Book three introduced readers to Re-Fi City, the heart of Splitter activity.
Full of fast paced, thrilling action. The intensity of the third installment of Sadie's story never let up.
The way Nikki wrote about Re-Fi city was amazing. Nikki has an exquisite talent for world building. I didn't feel bogged down in detail, but instead I could picture so clearly the city and its inhabitants. The suffering, the harshness, but also the hope and hidden beauty.
Once again, Nikki knocked it out of the park with the characters. You don't have a doubt about who you are rooting for and who you loathe! The main characters were brilliant as usual and we met a few new ones that have earned their place in the new world.
I was on an emotional rollercoaster with this book. There are two reasons for this rollercoaster. The first is because of the story and its plot, which is executed flawlessly. You can't help be afraid, sad, tense, excited, happy, and hopeful througout the whole book.
The second reason is because I knew my ride with Sadie, Caleb, José, Clara, and Anna, was coming to a close and it's very bittersweet. I've grown to not just adore the characters, but love them.
I cried...a lot...at the end. Without spoilers...my favorite part of the book was the check-in toward the end. Seriously, if you know, you know. I'm just going to miss this world so much!
If you haven't started this series yet...what are you waiting for???

Three Sisters Destined
Author: Nikki Lewen
5/5
Post-Apocalyptic/Dystopian Survival Thriller
Trigger Warnings: Gore, Violence
Once again, we see Sadie Larken leading a team of survivors. Delicately trying to balance humanity and their needs, with what needs to be done in order to free humanity once and from the control of the Splitter Nation. Sadie and her team have rescued, relocated and recruited survivors from the Yosemite Colony and the Isle of Big Sur. She easily gains the trust of people she meets along the way and has a way of showing them that the Splitter way is no longer the way to keep going. With the help of others she meets along the way can Sadie and her team take down President X and the rest of the Splitter Nation Army? Will they be able to return to Three Sisters once and for all?
The final book in the trilogy doesn’t disappoint. Nikki Lewen has left the reader wanting more even after the book ends. She has done such a great job building the story over the previous two books, and this one is no different. The final book is an action packed fast read. The author has made characters that the reader can connect with and understand. The reader is rooting for them to be the hero of the story. The last few chapters of the book really wrapped up the story nicely, which can be difficult to do sometimes. For readers looking for action, adventure and well written characters – the Three Sisters Trilogy is one I highly recommend.

Great Series!

I read the 1st book thru Kindle Unlimited, & it was captivating enough for me to just Buy the 2nd & 3rd books. I couldn't wait to see how the story played out! It did Not disappoint, although I have to admit a bit of bias towards who I hoped Sadie ended up with at the end (revised this statement in a "no spoilers" attempt...lol) I enjoyed Lewen's writing style, as well as her pace of action in the midst of character exploration/development. I would read more by this author.

The end of the world

I wasn’t sure about these stories when I started the first one. But I got hooked. Loved the imagination, characters, and innovations in the stories. The one thing that drove me crazy, however, was the present tense used so freely. I had to change all those verbs to past tense I order to enjoy the stories.

This story followed the rebuilding and rediscovery of the post trinami world with the 3 sisters. It is an amazing conclusion to the end of the trilogy. The end wraps everything up with room to continue and imagine the future for these sisters.
