J. Haney was born and raised in Kentucky and still resides there with her family. Her work tends to lean toward real life, drawing her readers into a world they can get lost inside. Probably the biggest book whore, she knows. She loves books of all genres except horror… The big Chicken! Getting excited when introduced to a new author, she has been likened to a kid in a candy shop.
In 2016, she partnered with S.I. Hayes, and they are now colloquially known as The Deviant Darlings, who have been on the journey of a thousand tales. Their joy for writing and helping authors led to the launch of Haney Hayes Promotions (HHP), an Author Services Company that helps authors from the ground up. Be they are just starting out or have accolades like USA Today or the Wall Street Journal, HHP strives to give every author they work with the support they need so that they can do what they love.

I just love their writing. With that said, this book is by far ( that I've read) the one with sex & toys and WOW! So much sex.
Winnie is the mother of 1 son & twin daughters and owner of a salon. Her kids want her to quit smoking but its harder then she thinks. She goes to see a therapist to quit smoking wen she meets Jarrett.
Jarrett is a single father of a 25 year old daughter who is pregnant with his first grandchild. He is going to therapy to quit for his daughter and grandchild.
They start talking and enjoy each others company. They have lunches in secret and see each other often. Its one day they are wanting to have DESSERT after hey were together at her house but when they pull up her EX is there. That puts a horrible mood in the air. Her EX is abusive to her and Jarrett won't have it. Finally getting him to leave, Jarrett is happy he is gone but sad to see how her EX made her feel.
Time passes and one day an earthquake hits the area. As Jarrett goes to check on his daughter that is when it hits his area and he has just enough time to scoop her up and jump out the window before his house collapses. He is hurt and bleeding his daughter is hurt and pregnant. After getting to the hospital, Jarrett is getting stitches to his arm and his daughter was taken to maternity to get checked out and Winnie is having a stroke because she doesn't know what is going on.
After everyone is out of the hospital, Jarrett realizes that he is gonna move into the house he has been renovating. After some trying time with Winnies EX he pulls a stunt by taking her daughters to the airport trying to leave the state. One of her girls calls her upset. Winnie and Jarrett finally find the girls and bring them home, after her EX was arrested.
Jarrett asks Winnie to move in with him and his daughter. As they are getting house ready all hell breaks loose with the virus. Now they are on lockdown with kids. Not just her kids but all her friends kids. They have more then a house full.
They both were doing good not smoking but with everything happening she needed a smoke. Jarrett is trying to calm her down but she panicking because she's been going through Menopause and she just found out she's pregnant. When all the kids come to her room they ask her to marry Jarrett so he can be their Dad and to keep their Mom happy. So much happened in this book I just cant review it all. SO JUST READ IT!

Who is Winnie? Who are Brenton and Clara? How do they all know one another? Who is Piper? What is it with everyone wanting Winnie to do certain things for them? Who are Bryce, Dante, Austin, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Micah? Who is Gabby? How and why do we meet her? The interaction between Winnie and Jarrett at her place of business is a hoot! Who are Jerrett and Sophia? Oh lordy, things get steamy on just a phone call!! Wow!!! Jarrett and Winnie are so cute together. A warm fuzzies kind of cute as they get to know one another. What challenges do they find standing in their way with Ivy, Izzy, and Crew? Oh goodness, this story got erotic and a bit kinky pretty quickly. I loved how Jarrett took care of Brad. Jerritt with Crew, Iris, and Ivy is funny.

This story seemed to manifest right before my eyes. I wasn’t sure where it was going to go or if the authors even knew because the story took on a life of their own. The characters were interesting. I thought her ex added drama as did the realistic life events. I just thought it was a bit crowded with so much going on with one story, it was hard to focus on the main attraction - the characters.

A crazy story - full of people and drama - a fun, crazy story.
The pace of the story was opposite slow. Sometimes I had to slow down, to be able to get all that happened. In the beginning it was hard to understand ’who said what’, but when you got to know them, it was easier. Maybe there could be a second book?
