All the Things I Meant to Tell You

Rate this book
They are forty-something, successful, financially set . . . and done with trying to find “perfect” husbands. So why can't Hahna, Twila, and Kimberly have men strictly for friendship, companionship—and especially mind-blowing sex? Their solution: be sugar mamas to gorgeous young studs who promise the best of having it all. But the ladies soon find that real lust and no strings is way more complicated than they thought . . .

All-business and all about the money, Hahna is drawn to Jovan, an aspiring writer. He's content with his work and Hahna, but her determination to make him appreciate the finest things in life could easily tear them apart. Cautious Kimberly is swept off her feet by handsome adrenaline-junkie Shawn—but an old flame from her past sparks an even more dangerous passion. And for Twila, a smokin’-hot Instagram model is fulfilling all her scandalous, insatiable dreams . . . until his high-maintenance demands and jealousy throw her life into chaos. Now Hahna, Kimberly, and Twila need to trust their instincts and their hearts to reclaim their joy—and the love they truly deserve.

This is going to sound crazy, or maybe not, but this book gives me Tyler Perry vibes. Not that I didn't like it I actually enjoyed the book, but it was so annoying and then so damn cheesy at times. I didn't know there was a book one, but I am happy that the book can be read as a standalone. I loved reading about beautiful black women doing their thing, and being all successful and in LOVE! But some parts I was ANNOYED and almost put the book down. I am telling you this book read like a Tyler Perry movie, and I don't mind the cheesy stuff especially when it comes to the romance thing, and their sisterhood being in a Sorority, but some of the characters were so ANNOYING, and inconsiderate. But then again, I loved how their sisterhood keeps them together, they care for each other enough to be there which is great.

This is book 2 about sorority line sisters of Gamma Phi Gamma that are in their 40's. The ladies have been friends since they were on line and continue to be close friends until this day. This book continues on the life of Hahna, Twila, and Kimberly. . One of them is getting married, and all of them are dealing with some type of drama and they each must make a decision as to the next step in their individual lives. This was such a great story of sisterhood and female friendship. I loved this book and can't wait to read the next book by this author.

3 college friends get together for a girls trip to plan a wedding, but not everyone is as happy as they look. They’re each facing issues they don’t want to discuss, but their friendship and sisterhood pulls them through. 4 stars.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Another amazing book by Tiffany Warren. This was the follow-up to her book All the Things I Should Have Known. Reading this book was like catching up with old friends (Hahna, Kimberly, and Twila). These three women embodied friendship and sisterhood. I love how they are there for each other.

While I couldn’t relate to some of their specific storylines I could and did appreciate the sentiment behind the book. There’s something to be said about having strong sister friends that you realize you can tell your deepest and darkest secrets, fears and everything in between to. This book, even more than the first in the story, exemplifies the power of friendship.

Tiffany Warren NEVER disappoints!

2.7 stars. I probably should've started with the first book. I didn't connect to the characters. I missed out on parts of their character and core. It did have several funny lines. I don't regret reading it and I finished it.

Three college friends and their sorority line sister come together to plan for Kimberly’s wedding. There is over 20 years of friendship but some of them have been going through the difficult times in their lives. Kimberly who is about to marry the man she met in college but went their separate lives with other’s and now found their way back to each other. The only thing is Ron has an ex-Wife Sabrina and their twin daughters and Sabrina is giving Ron and Kimberly a hard time with the twins being in the destination wedding which is on a Caribbean island. Twila was a victim of rape and after going on a run in her subdivision, she sees the person who raped her is now living in her subdivision too. Hahna’s business has taken a lost due to the fact that a former employee did damage to the company’s reputation by causing a scandal. Now an ex is trying to come back in Hahnas life under the pretense of wanting to help her, especially now that she is in a serious relationship with someone else.
Some of the other sorority sisters has some life challenges Samantha who is a minister and takes being religious to a whole another level and is upset that she is not a maid of honor but just a bridesmaid instead. Debbie a single mother who is looking for the next man with money to help take care of her and her kids.
There is a lot of drama, love, romance, jealousy and revenge that takes place in this storyline. This was a page-turner and my attention was held from the beginning until the end.
I highly recommend this book to read.

Sisterhoods

All the Things I meant to tell you by Tiffany Warren is a amazing and wonderful story. Tiffany Warren does a good job. It’s well written and it’s phenomenal page. This story is about friendships, sisterhoods, sexual assault, love, forgiveness, kindness, drama and happiness.

In the first book: Kimmie Kim, Hahna and Twila are sisterhood and friendship in 20 years. They’re looking for love. Each of them were dealing with toxic men. Each of them have their own struggling with their mental health.

In this book: Twila was dealing with her mental health as sexual assault. She’ll not healing properly until she finds the person who takes advantage of her kindness heart. When she met DeAndre, she finds her healing process and get comfortable to be around with him. Kim is in love with her college sweetheart. Hahna is in love with an author. Twila, Kim, Hahna and Gamma Phi Gamma sisters are helping to planning the wedding for Kim and Big Ron. I love the way how they’re bond as sisterhoods and understanding each other without judgmental.

I can’t wait to read more about those ladies!

Good Read!

ALL THE THINGS I MEANT TO TELL YOU is the second installment of Tiffany Warren's series about three successful women in their forties.
Kimberly has found love and is now planning her wedding with Ron. She just isn't sure if Ron's ex-wife will ruin their dream wedding. Hahna is in her turmoil with a young writer and a past love while Twila is trying to recover after a sexual assault.
I have to got to say that I found this work really fast-paced. Some of their antics had me shaking my head while others made me laugh. These women are strong, opinionated and their love for each other is real. It's evident that they are sisters through it all. The sexual assault story can be a possible trigger but it was mentioned in the premise. It good to see the character engage in therapy, though, as the blurb says, Twila is seriously contemplating revenge.
I think fans of Tiffany Warren will enjoy this book, however, I do think you might have to read the first book to understand a lot of what went on. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Thank you #Netgalley and #Kensington for this read.

Great sequel to All The Things I Should Have Known. Upon first reading, the title seems confusing. However, as you explore Hahna, Twila and Kimberly's story, the title make sense. Each, held things close to them that they had not allowed their friends or close party know. These things are revealed and it makes for a better understanding of why Hahna, Twila and Kimberly hold the positions that they do. I loved that hahna was willing to show what she viewed as the ugly side of her life to Sam. Revealing that, helped Sam to understand Hahna's position on things.
Twila dealt with her own situation on her own and only revealed them to her long time friends when she was coming to a decision on how to handle or resolve the situation.
This novel and the other one was a great story about long time friends. They helped each other (Hahna was willing to help Debbie), were there for each others and even those not in the close circle of the three main characters, (the other four line sisters) stood together.
Great read. Couldn't put it down. Read in a day.

This has been a great ride. I really enjoyed the story of this author. Kimberly, Twila, and Hahna are the lion's sisters and best friends. I felt like they were my best friends too. Kimberly is planning a wedding with Big Ron. Twila was sexually assaulted and wants to get revenge. Hahna is in love with an author and she has a crazy country family. The characters in this book were funny, crazy, and very interesting. I can relate to some characters. My secondary favorite characters were Tennessee and his siblings. They were some funny and country people. Rochelle was a handful. She really irritated me.
The themes of the story were friendship, loyalty, secrets, sexual abuse, drama, dysfunctional family, loss, patience, and understanding. I love the dynamics of the story. Can't wait to read more about these characters. I recommend this book to all my avid book readers. I give this book five stars.

What started out as a challenge on a Girls Trip, turns into three sorority sisters/friends dealing with relationship issues.

Twyla is hiding a devastating secret from her friends, and try’s to face her past. The healing must begin, in order for her to hopefully find the love she so desperately deserves.

Hahna’s relationship with Sam is moving into a positive direction. Even after she takes him home to meet her family. This, while trying to rebuild the brand that she created.

Kimberly and Ron are planning their destination wedding. Bridesmaids, sorority sisters and an ex-wife are all a source of drama. I love the fact that their love supersedes it all.

I gave this book by @tiffanylwarren 💎💎💎💎, because I was thrown off by the use of both first and third person narrative. Loved the story tho!

A huge thanks to Kensington books for my ARC in exchange of an honest review. This is my first Tiffany L Warren book and boy it's been a 277 page ride full of laugher ,dark chocolate and sisterhood .This book focuses mainly on Kimberly,Hahna and Twila three best friends and their quest for love . Finding true love is not that easy and these BLACK women with kickass jobs show us that when you least expect it LOVE happens and your girls will be there for you in good and bad times. I adored their friendship with their other sorority sisters (I so need that too) and with each other. If you need a book that reminds you of black girl magic and sisterhood read this book. Plot is crazy and character development badass

Can we say, Drama, Suspense and Unexpected twist. This book is filled with real life situations. From Bitter Ex-Wives, to the Scandalous tales of things that go on when you open or enter dark places treading scanty Waters. Each character has a story an experience that keeps you turning page after page wanting more. Sisterhood is tested and tried. The ladies all from different backgrounds but yet have a common ground that keeps them united. Bonds that were built while in college has sustained the test of times.  Every Woman needs a line of Sisters that have their back. This book won’t leave you dissatisfied as it reveals each character and their flaws but yet captures the Bond that can’t be broken.

Kimberly, Hahna, and Twila are strong women and they all have secrets they've kept from one another and from the men in their lives. This is a sequel to All the Things I Should Have Known (which I liked a lot) - and I do think this is all the better for having already met this trio. These women have serious careers, a strong friendship, and an ability to overcome. Not to forget - Ron, Sam, and DeAndre are also good characters. Know that sexual assault is part of this plot. There's some drama but it never goes over the top and gosh it's funny in spots. Thanks to netgalley for the ARC. A fun read.

Kimberly is going to marry Ron. All of a sudden, she invites Ron's ex to her wedding.
Twila confronts a ghost from her past. Will she be able to be strong and heal from her trauma?
Hahna has finally found a good man , and is incredibly happy. But then, a phone call brings bad news.
They're a sorority, even though they're in their forties. And they will act on that.

This is an interesting book. There were so many characters playing at the same time at one point, that I got a bit disoriented, but overall it was a good read.

Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

An outstanding sequel! Tiffany Warren brought us back to the lives of Kimberly, Hahna, and Twila with a story of love, healing, and sisterhood. Kimberly's story continues with the love of her life, Ron, and their destination wedding. Hahna's story continues with Sam and the closeness they have built upon. Maybe there will be wedding bells in a 3rd additional book!!? And Twila...we finally find out why she acts so tough and guarded. She finds healing and finds true love with Deandre. Is Deandre perfect or is he too good to be true? Will we find out in another series? I sure hope so! I just want more of the sisters of Gamma Phi Gamma!

What a refreshing book! A look inside of three 40 something sorority girls from Atlanta and their group of friends. Kimberly is planning her wedding to Ron. They must deal with his ex. Hahna suffers the loss of her beloved uncle, but is able to have her love, Sam by her side. Twila is out for revenge on a neighbor who assaulted her, finds love with Hahna's new office renter DeAndre. It is nice to see the three women support each other in all of their endeavors whether financial, social or emotional.

Great read!

This is the first novel I've read by Tiffany Warren and its certainly won't be the last. I really enjoyed how honest and refreshing the characters were, they felt like friends to me. The storyline was very realistic all the way down to the dynamics of the friendship. I think each character represented what most girlfriends have in their circle of friends, and that's what made me identify with the story more. Even though you cycle through different characters with each chapter, the story line was fluid enough that I didn't find myself getting confused. The story didn't feel rushed to me and I would love to see where these characters are in 5 years.

Hilarious! I didn't realize this was part of a series but it is easily read as a stand alone. Sometimes overly chatty and a lot of potty mouth but it is very relatable and you can imagine hearing these characters as they sip their wine. A lot of dialogue, would probably make a good theater production. If you're looking for some light reading and a few laughs, this is a good start!
I was provided an advanced reader copy and was under no obligation to write a review. The opinions expressed are my own. Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

All the Things I Meant to Tell You is my first book by Tiffany L. Warren. I didn't realize it was a sequel to another book - All the Things I Should Have Known. From the cover I thought it was a beach read which I found is not true. It does involve a beach/destination wedding but there are a lot more serious things at play. The story is about three 40-something women named Twila, Kimberly and Hahna. A great story about loyalty and friendships both in good and bad times!

I read Ms. Warren's book "The Outside Child" and it was a good book. So, I thought I would read "All the Things I Meant to Tell You" and it was okay. Some parts of the story were good while other parts were boring. After a while I found myself skipping over Twila's part. I lost interest. However, Ms. Warren is a good writer and I will read some of her other books.

Book of Sisterhood and Strength

This book showed that people could be friends without having the same interest. Love can come when you least expect it. Sometimes we have to face our fears to move on in life. I enjoyed this book and the lessons in the various chapters.

Very well written book that makes the reader feel like they know these girls. Unfortunately, I picked it up from the new arrivals section of the store and did not realise there is a prequel so I did not get to read about their journeys to this point.
