Hot sexy triplet #3 (The one who’s both charming and a doctor.)

Dr. Walt Hayden is unflappable, but when a giant blond man walks into his rural medical clinic and starts teaching the youth to shoot bad guys…something has gone weirdly wrong. The last thing Walt expected was to deal with a wedding, a stalker, and a serial killer...in that order.

Attending his brother’s wedding starts a journey that leads to the beautiful Annalise, whose life is threatened by a stalker, and her stoic, strong bodyguard, Jakob.

Walt may be the only man who can help put the pieces together to identify a killer who has already claimed one of the Masters' Admiralty's own. And if he falls in love with a member or two of that secret society along the way, well...

That love is doomed, because Walt is already promised to the Trinity Masters.

Mari Carr and Lila Dubois continue to bring their A-game. Wrath's Storm is part of their continuing series about the Trinity Masters and Masters' Admiralty, and brings triplet Walter Hayden into Germany on the behest of Eric, not someone you say no to. Dr. Annalise Fischer and ritter Jakob Bauer are also pulled into the investigation.

Hearts get involved, and well, love's on the line! An utterly thrilling installment.

I don’t know how they do it, but Mari Carr and Lila Dubois continue to work their magic with this fantastic Masters’ Admiralty series! And the Trinity Masters series too!

I loved the interaction between Walt and Eric that kicked off Wrath’s Storm and connected Walt with Annalise and Jakob. And whoa Nellie, did they connect!

From their very first meeting, Walt, Annalise, and Jakob hit the ground running in trying to suss out both the serial killer targeting the Masters’ Admiralty and also determine who was stalking Annalise. And they also managed to fall in love too!

Their relationship formed quickly, but man, was it awesome to see it develop. Annalise and Jakob were already in love with each other—but didn’t act on their feelings. Until Walt came along. And Walt provided much needed clarity and a big push in taking the risk on love. For how ever long it lasts—because those trinity marriages are not by choice. Or are they?

I loved every minute spent with Walt, Annalise, and Jakob and cannot wait for the next one in the series! ~ Missy, 5 stars

Five Stars! I would give it more if I could! The amount of research that this particular novel must have demanded is astounding! From various European and American languages/dialects/colloquial language, to terminology pertaining to specific fields (in this novel particularly, the medical/anatomy fields), to the meticulous descriptions of multiple European locations, the details are mind bottling! The action is “non-stop”… It keeps you sitting on the edge of your seat! There is so much to “chew on”! As you start reading, you are grabbed by the richness of details in so many forms that you can’t put the books down! I absolutely loved Annalise, Jakob and Walt’s story! The verbal exchange between all characters was fabulously entertaining! The physical relationship and the “love scenes” were scorching hot! And then there were the multiple “Laugh Out Loud” moments that just brought everything together in a way that made this story so worth reading. I can’t wait for the next installment of Lila Dubois and Mari Carr’s Trinity Masters/Master’s Admiralty novels! It is always undoubtedly an Amazing Read!! Loved it!!

This is is the 6th book in the Masters Admiralty series and continues the Trinity Masters and Masters and Admiralty series. Things get intense when Dr Walter is brought into the picture. Things get intense as they approach his brothers wedding . Annalise brings everything up a notch with the stalker. A love that can not be - between the Trinity Masters and the Admiralty. An intense battle between the secret societies. Intense and drama filled, this series is intense. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review it.

Without giving anything away, this story ties up a few loose ends, but in typical Mari Carr and Lila Dubois style, this book ends with a bang. I loved these characters, especially Walt and Eric. The interaction between the two of them had many of the other characters stunned. I read this book in one night and can’t wait for the next book.

I completely lost track of time reading this book, it had me so immersed in the story, nothing else penetrated!!! This book had everything, there were moments that made you smile, laugh, giggle, and then you immediately were turned to tears, anger, concern, and outrage. But you didn’t stay there, because it was steamy, it had deep emotional ties, new, and established, and broken. It had suspense everywhere, you never knew when a twist was going to pop up. It had sorrow, over loved ones lost, loved ones broken, loved ones missed. It had more than one incident of coitus-interruptus, defying our trios deep desires to get-it-on! There were moments of fear, true and deep, and moments of relief and emotional release. There were injuries, and learning to get sexy times while being mended. It had humour that masked deep pain and lasting scars, and it had brave men and women who stood in the path of the emotional and physical storms that battered them. It had it all, new and old characters, and three amazing people who found their HEA, even though they never dreamed it could happen for them <3

I’m going to have you at Eric is back! He’s enlisted Walt, the third Hayden triplet. It’s good to see some of the other characters back as well. Hold onto your hats. Mari Carr and Lila Dubois have written another sexy, fabulous rollercoaster of a story. Hayden is paired up with a German couple that have a secret love thing going. Sparks fly, and another Trinity is born. Plus they are really good at solving the serial killer mystery that Eric needs help with. You end up with a doctor, a knight, and a kick butt psychologist with a bad past. There is a happily ever after, but you know this series. You either yell what or ooh at the end of the book! You’re going to love it. I can’t wait for the next book!!

Unpopular opinion time!

The Mastermind has been caught and killed in the previous book but he didn't leave quietly. No sir, he sowed many seeds of anarchy and brought back to life the Masters' Admiralty's biggest enemies so there are still more loose ends to tie up. In this book, they're chasing down a serial killer—specifically the one who killed one f my favourite characters in the previous book, and I was just as ready as Eric was to find out whodunit. I enjoyed the criminal investigation aspect of the story! It gave me strong Criminal Minds vibes as our trinity works on profiling the killer, and I will say that the authors really did not shy away from the gruesome details, of which there are plenty. If you have a weak stomach, you might want to skim a lot of these scenes because they're graphic. I'm a big fan of true crime and crime shows, so it wasn't a big deal for me; however, I was a little underwhelmed with the reveal and this is a trend I've noticed I have with this series. The story just seemed to drag on longer than it should and by the time we reach the reveal, the shock or surprise element has disappeared and I'm ready for it to be over.

On top of that, I just didn't feel the chemistry between these three at all and the insta-love was too insta for me. The 'insta' factor is common in these books but I thought it was unbelievably fast in this one, and there were no particular factors that would make it believable for me. That's not to say there weren't some high-intensity scenes involving Annalise's stalker but it felt like an unnecessary addition to the story to make her character more vulnerable and to give the men more reason to be her "alpha protectors". Although Jakob and Annalise do have more realistic chemistry thanks to their forced proximity and years of protector/protectee history together, I didn't get why Walt's presence with his "laid-back American personality" would magically and suddenly change that.

Overall, I think if you've been having the best time with this series you'll probably love this book just as much? I thought I would enjoy it too but I went in thinking that it was going to be about Eric? I know, silly me cos I was sadly very wrong. At this rate, I don't know when or if we'll get his story so I think I'm ready to drop this series for now. I'll (most probably) come back to it for Eric's story, especially if it's going to involve Nikolette (and with the sparks I got from them in this and the previous book it seems very likely), but until then, it's been fun!

My favorite Masters Admiralty story so far! I. Love. Walt.

Walt, Annalise and Jakob were absolutely wonderful together. They meshed. They all had different personalities. But, Walt was the glue that held them all together. Without him, Aannalise and Jakob would have had a beautiful love story but he is the one that brought life to this story.

Walt was so real. From his outlook on life to his inexperience in the bedroom. He was true to himself and those around him. He had a way o put everyone at ease. Annalise was a scholar who took life seriously, was made to hide away but longed for the freedom that life could give her. Jakob was the quiet one who’s only instinct is to protect those he loves. But, when his feelings come out, you have no doubt about what he is saying or what his intentions are.

Different backgrounds … different ideas … unrequited love (so they think). Surprises, interruptions and threats … nothing will stop the three of them from saving each other, loving each other and finding a way to stay together. So, does the Cult win out and 3 hearts break or does love win out?

I loved the way Wrath’s Storm ended. It’s opened the door to more amazing stories in this series. I can’t wait to see where we are going next. It’s wonderful having Eric back in the picture. He made this story interesting and fun. And I have to give Kudos to Mari Carr and Lila DuBuis for the way they combined the dry humor that made me LOL and seriousness of the situations that they were in. The way they handled two different story lines and meshed them into one was brilliant. Like I said in the beginning, this was my favorite story so far. I adored the characters, the story line and the way they were all brought together.

This title is the most perfect title of a book EVER!

After the sheer devastation left by Bravery's Sin, both Mari Carr and Lila Dubois had a lot to make up for - they released a bit of berserker in me as well as our favourite Viking and I honestly was not sure I could forgive them. In Wrath's Storm, they manage to soothe the berserker in me and highlighted once again why these two are such a great team creating the Masters' Admiralty and Trinity Masters series.

Their reasoning for the absolute destruction they laid in Bravery's Sin led us to where we needed to be -with Walt, Jakob and Annalise and they don't disappoint. This trio are perfect for one another (thank you Eric!) and it takes dealing with a stalker and finding a serial killer to bring them close and boy am I glad. There's suspense, romance, scorching sexiness and drama that had me turning page after page late into the night. The vast range of emotions this book takes you on is intense and one minute you're enjoying the highs and are suddenly hit with the low you never saw coming. I laughed, cried and get frustrated all in the turn of a few pages - this to me is what makes this series a must read and one I will never tire of.

Then of course we have some old friends and our sexy Viking with the most brilliant way with words. He is genuinely the most intriguing character we know next to nothing about but, who we feel is SOOOOO much part of our family. I've highlighted soooo many lines delivered by this man, when his book finally arrives it may simply be better to begin with it all highlighted! The tease of what can only be the beginning of so many more delicious, suspenseful and drama filled future books has me eagerly waiting my next installment - I can only hope our favourite Viking can find some peace in the near future!

Lila and Mari certainly had their A-game on with this book.
I think this story is my favorite so far.... and I may have mention this in other book reviews of this series but OMG I really enjoyed this one!
At first I thought Eric the Fleat Admiral was going to be part of this trinity, I was so excited as he is one of my favorite characters (yummy viking). I hope his story is coming soon, he deserves to find peace and happiness.
Then we meet Annalise and Jakob, add the handsome Walt and you get an awesome trinity. This story has so much action with a stalker in hiding as they are looking for a serial killer. There is losts of twists and turns, it was hard putting the book down. Soooo good! Did i mention this book has everything, "steamy" got it, "laughter " got it, "deep emotions " got it, "suspence" got it, "sorrow " got it.....a great roller-coaster ride...
Lila and Mari are so creative it's scary, they have wicked minds... lol...they are some of my very top authors in my collection.
I strongly recommend this series, you will not be disappointed. Totally worth it!!

It baffles me how these authors are able to craft so many unique stories for their series (Masters' Admiralty and Trinity Masters). This series involves the final of the Hayden triplets, Walt, who is running a medical clinic in Libya for Doctors Without Borders. His life gets upended with Eric, also known as The Viking, turns up covered in blood. This is the start of an interesting adventure with Walt helping to find a serial killer. To help in the quest, he goes to Europe and meets Dr Annalise Fisher and her bodyguard Jakob.

This is a fast-paced story with plenty of humor and suspense plus a couple mysteries to be solved. I loved how Walt was so comfortable in his own skin and his ease of dealing with other people, especially the characters that others wouldn't think of treating that way. The chemistry between Walt, Annalise, and Jakob was very hot. I'm always torn between wanting to read fast to see what happens next versus reading slower to savor these stories. Thanks to the epilogue, we are given a hint as to what might transpire in the next book.

The latest addition to the Master's Admiralty series, Wrath's Storm, by Mari Carr and Lila Dubois is intense, intriguingly suspenseful and utterly compelling. Add in a stalker, a serial killer and a man bent on revenge...what more could you ask for? Oh! and let's not forget sinfully steamy. You'll experience Lila Dubois' delightfully fiendish touch in many scenes that may or may not be for the squeamish.

The last thing on Walt Hayden's mind is falling in love when the Fleet Admiral shows up in his clinic and pulls him into the investigation of a serial killer. Meeting and getting to know Annalise Fisher and Jakob Bauer quickly turns Walt's overworked existence upside down. Walt sees what is a palpable connection between these two and readily points it out. Although they vehemently deny their feelings at first, adding Walt to the mix gives them license to act on them. As this threesome embarks on finding the killer suddenly a whole host of others are thrust into the investigation. Once all Is said and done must Walt, Annalise and Jakob go their separate ways or do they get an HEA?

Wrath's Storm is the 6th book in the Masters Admiralty series by the amazing writing duo Mari Carr and Lila Dubois who are the Masters of all menage reads. I don't know what I could say about this book that hasn't already been said. The story has all the things that are a Carr/Dubois creation. The hottest trios, the most action and suspense making you wonder what will come next and who will be involved. I can't not lie I have read everything that these ladies have written together and apart, but I have to say that is my absolute favorite read of theirs. A true 5 star read that needs to be on your TBR List at the very top.

Wrath's Storm is full of strong negative-positive emotions occurring either individually with Annalise, Jakob, Walt, and other supporting characters or as a throuple with Annalise, Jakob, and Walt. Mari Carr and Lila Dubois do not shy away from having their characters endure and overcome complicated emotional turmoil. Wrath's Storm grabs your attention and refuses to let you go from beginning to end.

The American doc didn't know what he signed up for. He was just a doctor. His family made him open to the "cult". Damn...as triplet he knew he just needed to suck up, for his brothers wives and husbands. Walt promised himself he wouldn't be taken by the "Cult" but the secret society needed his help.

Annalise, Jakob, and Walt started on their journey. This book is full of suspense, mystery, kinky fuckery.

WS by Mari Carr and Lila Dubois tells Walt, Eric and Annalise's fast paced and complicated story. A story full of drama.
All characters have some issues, the forensic psychologist, the do good doctor and the mystery man, a perfect matching, only some of them fight tooth and nail. But Trinity Masters, the society needs them and is calling.
A great read, suspenseful, read in one sitting story with easily to connect with characters. An outstanding storyline , 4,5 stars.

When this book landed on my kindle, my first instinct was to dive in immediately. But, alas, I wasn't done with my re-read (I mean, with this kind of series, you have to do a re-read when a new book comes out, right?!?) So, I took a couple of days, enjoyed going back through the Master's Admiralty, visiting with old friends, and THEN I was finally able to open the first page. Cue mega excitement on my part! And right from the beginning, I was pulled right back into their world of danger, intrigue, and mayhem.

These two authors! I just knew that what I thought was going to happen was inevitable, and then they pulled the rug right out from under my feet! I should have known better! (I can't tell what my suppositions were, because that would just give away the surprise!) It just goes to show that with these two, you never know what is coming up next, and you should always be prepared for the unexpected! This book is so full of everything that I've come to love about this series (Trinity Masters/Master's Admiralty) I love how unpredictable it all is, how the story seems to flow from book to book (not a cliffie, though!) and how perfect the insta-love aspect is in them all! I adored this book, every single part of it!

Eric is back!
And he wreaks havoc right from the beginning.
This time we get two for the price of one. But how those two story-lines neatly, or better bloodily (is that a word?) dovetail into a headlong dash to catching the baddies is breathtaking.
And then there is the last of the triplets! Dedicated to his profession and nothing else, until he runs into Eric of course. Nobody stays in the slow lane around that man! But finding love and keeping it is not in the cards for Walt.
Until ...?
Fast paced, convoluted, exciting, sensuous, ... well, all the usual ingredients I'm used to from these two ladies!

Walt Hayden, devoted doctor. I had to laugh inside when Jakob and Annalise ask about his "experience."

Being an MD is such a serious career, I loved his light-hearted-ness!

Pretty serious stuff going on! A stalker, a serial killer, a new romance, and a romance that's been there, but not acknowledged.

I could not put this book down. Dubois and Carr make a formidable writing duo!

Cannot wait to read Eric's story! He's another one that has such a serious job, yet he and Walt bantered, and I loved it!

This story was amazing. It sucks you in from the beginning, and the further along you get the more you are sucked in. This story finally reveals a lot of things that weren't resolved in earlier books in the series. An edge of your seat, white knuckle tale...

Walt is my favorite Hayden! Saying that, I was instantly invested in all of these characters. After they were brought together by Eric, I could just see the admiration and connection Annalise, Jakub, and Walt immediately had for each other. Then they had to get to work to find a serial killer and the action ensued. While the storyline sometimes takes a sad turn and can be graphic in the description of the crimes, the overall feel is still hopeful and determined to catch the baddie. Smoking sexy times are a given for our intrepid throuple, but this book is also a highly suspenseful thriller and a great read.

I, truly, cannot get enough of this series. It's part James Bond-ish action/adventure, mystery and hot, sexy poly BDSM. What's not to like? This is a wonderful, exciting story that takes you from Libya, to Germany, Poland and the Isle of Mann. I'm completely invested in the story and the characters. While the story of Jakob, Annalise & Walt gives us closure in one area, in the end, it leaves us with even more unanswered questions.

Loved Walt, Annalise, and Jakob

Fleet Admiral Eric Ericsson, put the Admiralty into the capable hands of Sophia Starabba, and went on the hunt for Josephine's killer. Hunting down leads, he has been enacting vigilante justice where ever he finds a need. His leads have dried up. Finding Dr Walt Hayden offers him a possible solution.
Eric plays wedding crasher, at Oscar's wedding, he bounces what he needs off of Juliette, and enlists Walt's help. He needs a profiler, and a doctor to help him find Josephine's killer.
Dr Annalise Fischer, a German, forensic psychologist. She was just starting to establish herself when a stalker slowly stole her confidence and independence. Then destroyed her family. She now teaches and her life is confined to campus. Her only real friend, Ritter,(knight) Jakob Bauer. Her bodyguard. Who has stood been her protector and who she wishes could be more.
Ritter Jakob Bauer, served in German intelligence before being recruited to the Admiralty. While he was wanted for Security, he was done with that life. The job of a Ritter, offered him a atonement. Annalise started out as a job, but the more time he spent with her, she became a friend, and then he fell in love. Their lives are not their own, so he silently ensures her safety and well being.
Eric orders Annalise to build a profile from the Intel he has collected. Walt is to be her medical examiner. Jakob their security. Jakob and Annalise are operating under a gag order. Eric had no intention of returning to duty until he kills Josephine's killer.
Walt slides into a easy friend ship and working relationship with Annalise, and draws Jakob in as well. Soon the three are falling for each other.
Annalise's stalker, makes a play for her while investigating in Poland. Walt and Jakob stop at nothing to get her back. Involving the Hungarian territory brings questions that they can not answer.
Nikolett, the new Admiral of the Hungarian territory, is determined to do things different. She has a driving need to put to rights the damage her predecessor has done. She is sure that the Admiralty will face more treachery, death and destruction, steaming from the things Petro set in motion. She is determined to to forge strong relationships with the other Territory Admirals. She is starting with helping find Petro's pet serial killer, and hopefully drawing the Fleet Admiral out. The Admiralty is unstable and he either needs to resume command or be replaced.
Josephine's killer is unexpected. Eric's rage is a force of nature.
Fast paced and steamy MMF, romantic suspense. Loved Walt, Annalise and Jakob's story. A great epilogue that ends with a cliffhanger, can't wait to see what happens next. Loved the Hayden triples. Hope to see them in the future. Love the Viking. Can't wait for the next book.

Dr. Walt Hayden is the last of the Hayden triplets not claimed by either of the Masters Admiralty or Trinity Masters. He's been a nomad since med school and the military, working with the Doctors without Borders program until Eric sweeps him away to help find a serial killer.

Dr. Annalise Fischer is a forensic psychologist that had her world upended when a violent stalker began terrorizing her and attacked her sister.

Jakob Bauer is a ritter a Knight from the German arm of the Masters' Admiralty. Usually part of law enforcement he had been assigned as Annalise's bodyguard when a stalker started terrorizing her over four years ago but stayed to protect her even when the trail grew cold.

Erik 'The Viking' is like the 'where's Waldo' of these two series. Popping up, making a splash and disappearing again. He fascinates me and I can't wait for his story. He's determined to find the person who murdered Josephine and he pulls in Walt, Annalise and Jakob to do it.

Jakob's intensity and devotion, Walt's sensitivity and humor and Annalise's quiet strength even while under duress made a magical combination. I loved watching these characters grow with each other.

Carr and Dubois are masters at blending intrigue, suspense, humor and tantalizing steam. I loved EVERY SINGLE PAGE. The give and take and exquisite timing and interruptions had me laughing out loud, even after mourning the ugly bits. I was unwilling to put this book down and wishing for more when I reached the last page.

Thank you Mari Carr and Lila Dubois for an amazing book.
