They say you can’t help who you fall in love with.
And when I fell head over heels for the sous chef at my father’s restaurant, I believed that was true. I felt it even more so when my father warned me away.
We don’t mix business with pleasure. He’s too old for you…
But the heart wants what the heart wants. And the world has the ability to break that heart.
Because of me, Cillian would lose everything he’s worked for, and I would lose him…. Unless I can think of a way to convince my father to give him another chance. Unless I can convince Cillian to give me another chance.
Cillian, is book 2 in the Kelly Brothers Series, featuring four steamy stories about love and family that can all be read as standalones or in order.
As always, this Megan Wade book comes with her ‘Sugar Promise’. High heat, low drama, guaranteed.
Megan Wade is a USA Today Bestselling Author of curvy billionaire romance featuring confident plus-size heroines and alpha heroes who adore them. With 70+ books published, she's known for steamy love stories with guaranteed happily ever afters. Her signature style: high heat, low drama, and heroines who never have to shrink to find love.
Let me start by saying, that I have read a ton of this author's books. I generally love them. Also, I have nothing against a good May/December romance, however, this one just pissed me off.
Cillian was attracted to Hazel the moment he saw and she him. The first problem I have is that she KNEW her father frowned on relationships amongst his staff as well as firing people when/if he found out. She lied/omitted the truth when she realized that Cillian didn't know who she was.
The second and biggest problem was that she acted like a spoiled entitled brat for most of the book. Following him home when he left early on Sunday and just her blatant disregard for anything that Cillian or her father said. Multiple conversations were had with her father where there was a back and forth regarding him treating her like a child and him expressly telling her to prove/act like an adult.
My tipping point was when she decided to get drunk, go to his family's bar ( underaged ) and make a spectacle of herself. When Cillian confronts her she has a temper tantrum like a child because she wants to be first in someone's life. Nevermind the fact the man just told you that he has been working the ENTIRETY of your little life for his career and all you can say is so what. If you truly love a person you wouldn't demand of them to give up everything for you.
I gave up on the book at that point I really did. I absolutely had no interest in the rest of the book. I believe that a person shouldn't demand an enormous sacrifice to prove their love.
Sorry to the author, but this is a do not reccomend for me. I will however continue to read books by this author.

Hands down I disliked Hazels dad so much. For his stupid rules and he was hardly in her life and now thinks he can run it. Shes a grown adult she can make her choice. He was to overprotective oh "you can't date" or "can't date my employee because he's to old" again you were only in her life few moments. Don't try to dad her.
Now onto the story Cillian and Hazel were cute together they had some drama wince they are coworkers and Hazel (h) dad is the owner of the restaurant their love is forbidden because of him. And few times i disliked Cillian for some of the things he did to break and push Hazel away like douche vibes (no cheating he was just acting like a dick), i do wish Cillian fought more for her then push her away Hazel did the fighting and i hated that, yes she did some stupid thing to push Cillian that made me laugh and roll my eyes, but girl is a adult she can talk, date and have a life. And I screamed WHEN SHE TOLD HER DAD WHAT SHS THOUGHT!! GO GIRL GET YOUR HAPPYINESS!!! Glad he finally pulled his head out of his butt. And glad the dad changed even if he was childish also.
And we got hints of the other brothers :)
No ow/om drama, No cheating, Tiny drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore

Cillian and Hazel's story was kinda cute and sweet. I had a feeling of deja vu while reading it, but I'm not sure why. Still, I really enjoyed reading this book. I love a sweet Chef hero and Cillian was just perfect! I would like to read the stories of the other two brothers soon!
Older man younger woman,15 yrs difference. He's 33 she's 18.( A young naive 18 at that) Boss's daughter Virgin Insta love Lust, love, marriage and and a baby carriage. No connection to the characters or storyline. Honestly bc Hazel was so sheltered and immature, as a couple they were just creepy! It made the age difference seem a lot greater! The first book was ok this book hard pass and I definitely need a shower to wash the yuk feeling I have after this book! Seriously it was like she was a child instead of 18 , which to me is still a young adult with loads of growing up to do! Hot shower here I come!👎
Fun and easy read. I loved Cillian. Being Irish just made him hotter. He's sweet, caring, possessive, supportive, and has a heart of gold, especially when it comes to Hazel and his family. Hazel had some growing up to do as she wasn't used to adulting but she's finds her bearings. Together, her and Cillian are cute and steamy even with the 15 year age gap. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely love it!! This was a nice quick, short read.
Cillian meets Hazel when she comes and works at the restaurant her father owns. Cillian is a sou chef at the restaurant and has worked there for six years. Hazel is eighteen and is unsure what she wants to do in life after the college of her choice didn't accept her. Hazel's father George wants her to learn the business so she starts off as a waitress. Cillian and Hazel talk throughout their shifts and he asks her to go out with him as her father enters the kitchen. George asks Hazel if she's ready to go home and then Cillian realizes who she is and knows it won't work out between them. George has a strict rule at his restaurant that employees don't date one another, otherwise they are fired. On the ride home George warns Hazel to stay away from Cillian, because he's too old for her. The next day at work, Hazel is learning how to bartend, so she doesn't see Cillian, and it's his day off. Sunday night Cillian has family dinner with his parents and brothers, Branagan, Trick, and Sean. As he's headed to his parents he hears someone walking behind him but doesn't see them when he turns. When he reaches the back steps he hears a female voice, he realizes its Hazel. She tells him she wants to talk to him about their date, he tells her she's too young for him and they can't date because of her father and his rule. Cillian's mother comes and when she sees Hazel she invites her for supper. After supper Cillian takes Hazel home they decide to be friends. A week later he runs into her while he's running and she's grabbing coffee at the local shop. He invites her to come with him to meet a possible supplier and test out some produce. Cillian has Hazel taste a strawberry and when the juice runs down her chin he swipes it with is thumb. He wants to kiss her and she wants to kiss him, but they don't. He tells her they need to go, when he gets her home she tells him she wanted him to kiss her. He tells her he wanted to, she asks him if this is going to work them being friends. Cillian tells her he only wants to take her innocents away then he'll be done with her, then he tells her she needs to get out of his truck and go. She tells him, if he doesn't thinks she worth risking his job over all he had to do was tell her. She locks herself in her bedroom and cries, when she calms down she calls her friend from boarding school. She tells her friend about Cillian and her dad's rule, her friend gives her advice. When her dad comes home he knocks on her door and asks if she's okay she tells him she's having cramps so he leaves her alone. Cillian wants to send Hazel a message but every time he tries he doesn't send it. Later at work Cillian is summoned to George's office, he tells him he's needed at the pub. Thinking something happened to his parents he takes off running. When he gets inside his brother Bran tells him to drink up, he asks him what's going on. His brother points to something over his shoulder and when Cillian turns he sees Hazel dressed like she walks the night, in heavy makeup, is drunk, and has the attention of several men. He tells her she needs to come with him and she asks him if she's not allowed to have fun. One of the men tells Cillian to leave her alone, he tells the man that she is here for him and they need to leave. Cillian removes his chefs coat and the men all leave Hazel to Cillian. He takes her to the apartment above the bar and gets her some water. He wipes the makeup off her face and tells her she doesn't need this stuff to impress people, she's perfect the way she is. She tells him she's not perfect and why doesn't he want her. He tells her he does want her, she tells him he cares more about his job than her. He tells her he's been working for eighteen years, he wants a restaurant to call his own. She tells him she's tired of being in the way of everyone, she just wants to be someone's priority their first and only choice. He kisses her passionately, when he pulls away he tells her they can't, not like this. She asks him why and he tells her she's been drinking he won't have her when she's drunk. She tells him she'll wait, he tells her she needs to get home. He goes to his old bedroom and pulls out a part of sweatpants and an old sweatshirt for her to wear home. He leaves her to change her clothes but when he returns she is asleep on his bed. When Hazel wakes up she realizes she fell asleep in Cillian's bed she makes her way to the bathroom. When she comes out Cillian's mother is waiting for her, Moira invites her for a cup of tea. Hazel asks Moira if she is mad at her and Cillian's mother tells her no but if she would have gotten caught and had their liquor licenses taken away that would be a different story. They talk while having breakfast, she comes downstairs to Cillian cutting up vegetables. She asks him if he had any regrets kissing her last night. He tells her he wants her and he doesn't want to fight it anymore. He tells her he's going to talk to her dad, then they start kissing. He asks her if he's the first man she's ever been with and she tells him yes and asks him if it's okay. He tells her he doesn't want her to feel pressure they can wait until she's ready. When she gets home her father asks her where she's been, she tells him with a friend. When he sees her sweatshirt he asks her if it was a guy friend, then tells her she never called and he worried. He tells her she needed to be a grown up he wanted to meet this guy. She tells him she doesn't everything he asks of her, he never spends any time with her, his work comes first. She tells him since she moved back home all he's done is dictate what she does. He tells her while she lives at home she follows his rules. She tells him then she won't be living at home anymore. Her father leaves while Hazel goes to her room and takes a shower. She come out she drags her suitcase out and packs all her things. Cillian goes to talk to George and he fires him. Cillian leaves his keys and packs all his things walking out without saying goodbye to his co-workers. When he get to his place Hazel is waiting with her suitcase. She tells him she wants to marry him and be with him in every way and man and woman should be. He asks her if she's not planning on going back home, she tells him about what her father said. She tells him she loves him and he tells her he loves her. When he gets her to his apartment, he takes her to his bedroom and pleasures her, he tells her he's going to take care of her, she is his now. They get physical, then she tells him she loves him and he tells her he loves her. He asks her to marry him and she says she already said yes. He takes a ring out of the nightstand drawer showing her the Claddagh ring his grandmother gave to him. He tells her what the ring means and then slips it on her finger. Later she asks him if he spoke to her father, he tells her her father fired him and they will figure things out. Cillian goes to work at his parents pub, they are busier than ever. Hazel gets a job working in a retail store. After Cillian finds out George's restaurant isn't doing so well since he left he goes and talks to him. He tells Hazel about his visit with her father and that they'll be getting married. After breakfast Hazel goes to work, she hears a knock on the door before she is open. Her father, George is there, he asks if he can speak to her. George tells her he's pushed the two most important people out of his life, he invites them to dinner. She tells him she'll put his name on the wedding invitations she hasn't sent out yet. George tells Hazel he is sorry he shouldn't of let things get this far, and he doesn't want to loose her. Hazel tells her dad she's sorry too, and she asks him if he'll give Cillian his job back. Her dad tells her he's going to make him his head chef. In the end it'll be Cillian and Hazel, happy and in love, they are soulmates.

I gave up at 50%. I don't mind an age gap romance, but there has to be some maturity. Hazel is 18 and acts childish throughout the book (at least the part I read). I'm not sure why a 33 year old with a career path would want a serious relationship with a clueless bumbling 18 year old.
Cillian is the second oldest Kelly brother, he is a sous chef at a local high end restaurant. Hazel is the owners, George’s 18 year old daughter, Cillian has never met the daughter in the six years he has worked for George. The two are instantly attracted to one another and he is asking her out when he finds out she’s George’s daughter and only 18, he immediately backs off. He’s 33 and feels like a dirty old man wanting a girl so young. He try’s to avoid her but she pursues him. She follows him to Kelly’s for Sunday night dinner and when Mrs. Kelly sees her, she invites her in thinking she’s Cillian’s girl. When things heat up and Hazel tells him she wants him to kiss her, he is deliberately mean to her to get her to stay away from him. Thinking she needs to show him she’s grown up she dresses suggestively and is drunk with a few guys over at Kelly’s. His brother calls him and he arrives to save her. They argue and then kiss. But Cillian knows she’s drunk and won’t take advantage of her. Drama with her father, she leaves his house, he fires Cillian for dating his daughter. When Cillian finds out George is not doing well and his restaurant is not doing well with Cillian no longer cooking there, Cillian goes to see him to try to fix all their relationships. But George is still stubborn. He finally comes to see Hazel and apologizes. Two epilogues, five years later from Hazel’s POV and from Cillian’s POV. Lots of kids and everyone happy again. I didn’t like how overbearing George was, Hazel did act like a childish brat, but I remember at 18 you want to be an adult so bad you make stupid decisions. Plus she has some self esteem and abandonment issues. So I gave her a little leeway. I would have liked it better if she was in her early 20’s, finished college and still had no direction. Cillian was to nice to everyone, he deserved a better heroine.

Cillian was a talented chef, single, in his 40’s hunk working in her father’s restaurant. Hazel was at the restaurant to start working on learning the ropes In the restaurant business, since she wasn’t going to college. Hazel catches the eye of Cillian and they began to talk. Cillian and Hazel have sizzling chemistry. Cillian knows this can’t go anywhere because he is too old for her and there is no dating among employees. Hazel still enjoys visiting with him and getting to know him and talk to him about his large family. Hazels father refuses to let her make her own decisions. Hazel rebels against Cillian and her father and ends up in some trouble. Cillian rescues her and realizes there is no way he can let her go - he loves her. She loves him. She knows he is her happiness. They have some ups and downs, stops and starts. They have an instant attraction, dynamic chemistry, intense passion, tender romantic love. The characters are fantastic together, they balance each other out. It is a really great read and it is well worth the time.

When, age really is just a number. Cillian is a sous chef extraordinaire at Hunt & Gather. He is dedicated, committed. He is immediately attracted to the new waitress while reminding himself of the no physical relationship policy. Hazel recognizes the guy in the kitchen as H.O.T.! She didn't get into college, so her Dad, George, the restaurant owner thinks working in the restaurant is a good experience. Her entire family has opinions of what she should do with her life, too bad they never ask her. Everyone but Cillian know Hazel is the boss' daughter. They both feel an initial intense attracton to each other. After more flirting, the ball drops. Cillian calls himself a dirty old man that his 32yo self is attracted to an 18yo. Hazel is chronologically young, but she has an old soul. Will Hazel get Cillian to consider her his equal? Can Cillian get around George? Will Cillian lose his job? Will George put his daughter first? Another delightful Kelly family story. Hazel and Cillian are absolutely likeable. Great story. Well done! I received an ARC from Bookdprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art!
Hazel was absolutely detestable. She was an immature, annoyingly juvenile and insufferable heroine and Cillian deserved so much more than to have a bratty child as his love interest. All she did was ignore reason, insisting on jeopardizing Cillian’s livelihood all because she can’t take the rejection. She kept on crying about not being treated like an adult, well honey, you haven’t done anything to show you are worthy enough to be recognized as functioning adult ready to contribute to society. All her actions were self serving. She brought nothing to the relationship and basically threw a tantrum until she got what she wanted.
The entire story could be summed up to Hazel, the spoiled brat whining and crying to get her way. Even her attempt at “being seen as an adult” amounted to Cillian bailing her out of a messy situation because she decided to get drunk and make a scene. This was already a short story and yet I still could not get myself to skim and properly finish. Hazel’s antics were just abhorrent, disgusting and childishly intolerable.
This is the best read ever!. Cillian is a sous chef in a restaurant where one rule is NO fraternization. Then he meets Hazel and immediately wants her, even asks her out never realizing she's the owners daughter. Hazel is also young, 18 and Cilian is 32 but you can't stop love. Hazel may be just 18 but she knows what she wants from life, a husband, family, children, nothing over the top but her father still sees her as a child because he's kept her in boarding schools most of her life so he doesn't even know her. This book in mainly about growth and going for what you want, believing in what you want and knowing you deserve it. I love that Hazel and Cillian decide they want each other enough to go for it knowing his job is on the line. But I think Hazels dad is the one who grows the most in this book, realizing you can't make the people you love do what you want them to do, they have to live their lives the way they want to live them, not the way you want them to. Loved it, best read ever!!

Cillian is a sous chef where the restaurant enforces one major rule: NO fraternization. That’s not a problem until Cillian meets Hazel, not realizing she is the boss’ daughter. Hazel is a mature 18 and knows what her plans and dreams are. Cillian seems to be perfect to her for making that life possible. But her father still views her as a child under his control, even though he had limited contact with her growing up, sending her to boarding schools for others to raise. Cillian does try to do the “right” thing and follow the rules, but he cares and he wants her. And she doesn’t want to walk away from him. Will the two of them stand up to her father? Or will they let him intimidate Cillian with loss of his job?
This was a well done story examining maturity levels and decisions to be made at different stages of life. When you are sure about what you want, do you allow someone to prevent you from walking that path? Or do you fight for what you want in your life? Grab your copy and see what the answer is for Cillian and Hazel.
Older man/Younger woman – Love it! This is about Cillian and Hazel. Cillian is a sous chef in Hazel’s father’s restaurant, he has been there for six years now and is working towards head chef, but then walks in Hazel and he is mesmerized. She is mature enough to hold a conversation in which she doesn’t reveal who she truly is. Later on, that night that they meet, he is asking her out and she is then discovered by her father. Her father has a rule that will get you fired in an instant and that is no fraternizing as he considers everyone that works for him family. Well Hazel is eighteen while Cillian is thirty-three. I don’t think anything is wrong with this age group, but her father wasn’t having any of it and when she doesn’t come home one night, he fires Cillian the next day. I loved this story, would have loved to read more on the brothers or his parents as his mother is a hoot.
Cillian by Megan Wade is a fast paced, sweet, steamy fun and a bit emotional older man, younger woman instalove roamnce story of Cillian and Hazel..Cillian is an irish born and bread in america, a sous chef whos working in a family reastaurant and fall in love with the owner daughter.Hazel a young, sweet, curvy girl out of school and working to her dads restaurant and fall inlove with their sous chef, but her father have rules no fraternizing policy at work and her father thinks that shes not old enough to be inlove specially to a man fifteen years older than her,but their love is no bound she left their house and went to Cillian place and wait for him and when Cillian talked tohis father about them her father he didnt approve and fired Cillian..Is love enough or they making a big mistake? read it to find out! wel done!

Irish hunk This story is the second book in The Kelly Brothers series, with each book being written by a different author. It’s a quick read about Cillian and Hazel. Cillian is the sous chef at the Hunt & Gather restaurant, where he meets a lovely girl he’s really attracted to. She’s nearly half his age, and also a staff member, but there’s a bigger problem. That girl is Hazel, and her father George owns the restaurant. Cillian knows he can’t ask her out, but has no idea at first that she is the boss’s daughter. He has a strict no-fraternisation policy that he takes very seriously. The feelings are mutual, but any relationship would be off-limits (and she knows that too). And her father makes that very clear, even threatening Cillian’s job. How will this couple overcome this huge obstacle? Will their connection be severed or his career ruined? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Hazel is a young sheltered woman that is actually kinda sad. Her dad had her in boarding school and wants her to take over his restaurant. What about what Hazel wants? She dreams of a family and a man who will make her #1 priority.
Cillian is a family first guy. He's got his brothers and parents who want their boys to be happy and give them grandbabies.
Cillian is not the skirt chasing guy and don't bother with his co-workers especially the ladies but one finally catches his eye and it's the bosses daughter. Will he give up his 18 year dream for an 18 year old who is so off limits?
Their story is about believing, growing and proving that the fight is worth so much. Hazel is an inspiration of maturity. Cillian is that man that's too good to be true but their story is a sweet treat that melts your heart. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Amazing! Cillian and Hazel are so wonderful together! Hazel is sweet, starved for love, on the young side, but never think that she doesn't know her own heart. Even though she's only 18, she's ready to fight for her Happy Ever After, ready to make tough choices and handle hard times. Cillian is sexy, a talented chef, ambitious, and ready to claim Hazel from almost the first glance. I love the way, at first, Cillian tries to do the honorable thing, tries to stay away, tries to make Hazel hate him. That doesn't last long, and for once in her life, Hazel has someone that puts her first, totally and completely. Instalove extreme, but like Cillian's cooking, oh so delicious! Short, sexy, lighthearted, and delightful, this book is not to be missed! Happy Reading!!

I loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. The is a bit of angst but it resolves well. Cillian was all-in with Hazel before he even knew her name. I loved that he was so certain that he was willing to move forward without knowing it. Cillian was a strong alpha but was also sweet. Hazel was pleasantly surprised by her feelings for Cillian but excited to explore them. Her biggest issue was that her father was controlling and he didn't want Cillian and Hazel to be together. Cillian's family was great. I loved their whole family dynamic. The way Cillian's family accepted Hazel immediately was wonderful. Cillian and Hazel's happy ever after was awesome and made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

I really liked this book! Our heroine, Hazel, meets Cillian when she starts waitressing for her dad’s restaurant where Cillian is a sous chef. There are a few road blocks for them right from the start. Hazel’s dad does not allow employees to date (he has fired employees for this in the past) and there is a definite age difference between Hazel (18) and Cillian (33). Both of these things give Cillian pause and he immediately tries to pull back from Hazel.
I will say, Hazel made some immature choices, but again, she’s 18 so I don’t think this was a big deal and could see any girl her age doing the same thing. I was rooting for her and Cillian from the start! I understood her dad to an extent, but was also cheering Hazel on when she took a stand!
I loved this story! It was a quick read with very little drama and a HEA. I was happy to see an epilogue at the end as well!
I enjoyed this new “Kelly Brother” story. It’s very sexy as well as sweet and tender. Cillian, second to the oldest Kelly brother, but the shortest. Even though his parents own the bar and he helps prep for them he is very happy working as a sous chef at the prestigious "Hunt & Gather" restaurant. He is working one night when a beautiful young lady walks in the back. The attraction between Cillian and Hazel is instant. Hazel is happy that he doesn't know who she is. Opps, what will daddy think of these two flirting? This is a cute and sweet story with some family drama, mainly from George. I love Cillian and Hazel's story. Very supportive of each other and the chemistry is off the charts. The is a fairly short and quick read and just a beautiful love story. I really like the characters and the plot is captivating.
Cillian & Hazel are instantly drawn to one another, but when Cillian finds out Hazel is his boss’s daughter he tries to put the brakes on things as he does not want to lose his job. At first they try to be just friends & Cillian’s family gives Hazel a warm welcome. But as they spend more time together they just can’t deny their feelings for one another any longer. Cillian wants to put her insecurities to rest and Cillian shows Hazel just how much he desires her and things get quite steamy as they burn up the sheets. But not everything is rosy as Hazel’s father does not handle the news of their relationship well and both are forced to look for new jobs as they make their plans to spend their lives together. Will Hazel’s father come around or will he lose his restaurant along with his only daughter?

Cillian was a honorable man, he did his best to always go by the rules, and his family was a priority. He worked hard as a chef and hoped to one day have his restaurant. He had worked at the Hunt and Gather for six years when he met the girl of his dreams, but there were two problems. First, she was a waitress, and staff could not date staff. Second, it turned out she was the owner's daughter. They tried being friends only, but that didn't work. Then Cillian talked to Hazel's father and all that got him was fired. Cillian was a special type of man, and he tried to show that to George in every way, but he refused to see reason. Enjoy the story of Cillian and Hazel in this one of a kind romance.

Megan Wade has become one of my must read authors and this book only justifies that. Ms. Wade has a way of grabbing a reader from the 1st page to the last with her terrific storytelling and world building. Her characters are so delightful that you can't help cheer for their happily ever after. Cillian and Hazel's story is one of finding your soul mate then thinking that you can't have them only to discover that you want them regardless of the consequences. This story has everything that you could want; comedy, drama and of course hot romance. You will be sorry if you miss this delightful gem of a book.

Ok, let's just start off with Hot, Irish guy with tattoos that can cook. Now if that doesn't get you interested, Cillian is a sweet story of finding the one you are meant to be with and standing up for that love, even if it cost you everything you have strived for in the last 15 years.
Hazel is a young lass that is looking for something, but when she meets Cillian, in her father's restaurant kitchen, she know she has found what she has been missing. I love the passion and connection between Cillian and Hazel. The relation with the Kelly's is amazing and heart warming. This is a book that not only you will not want to put down but you will want the rest of the story,.

I loved this forbidden age gap romance! Cillian and Hazel are drawn together but due to professional issues (Hazel's father/Cillian's boss) they aren't allowed to be together. Hazel tries to push Cillian but all she manages to do is make Cillian say things that aren't true to try and save is job. Then one fateful night Cillian is forced to cave and these two never look back. This book has a lot of drama, longing, steam, passion, and a wonderful HEA. I would highly recommend this book, series and this amazing author.

So very entertaining and charming. Love the characters as they were interesting and you really liked them. Hazel is sweet, young, immature, and starved for love, No one thinks that at 18 she know her own heart. Cillian is an older strong alpha but he was really a great guy. Cillian is sexy, talented sous chef at Hazel's father's restaurant. He father forbid her to see him, told her that he would fire him. Love how they both get around the boundaries. Hazel doesn't want Cillian to lose his job but she also doesn't want to lose him. What's she going to do? I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This Book 2 in The Kelly Brothers Series is a very well-written hot short romance that has wonderfully-constructed characters with chemistry. This is an interesting storyline that has wonderfully-crafted, fun and sexy characters with chemistry. These characters have well crafted histori and they grow as the story evolves. They have an instant attraction, intense chemistry, tender romantic love despite the great age difference. These characters are amazing together, they balance each other out perfectly. It is a really great story and it is well worth the time and money.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This was the second book in the Kelly Brothers series. Cillian is the second son and a sous chef at a nice restaurant. He and Hazel meet when she starts working there. Her father owns the restaurant and forbids them from dating. They cannot deny what they feel for each other. Both make some mistakes and each get hurt. They have several bumps in the road to their final happiness. I enjoyed this short story. It was well written and the characters had a lot of chemistry

Hazel is the sheltered daughter of a restaurant owner and Cillian is a sous chef trying to make it for himself. I really love the Kelly’s family, specially Ma and Dad, but I had some issues with Hazel wanting to be treated as an adult and acting like a spoiled brat until getting what she wanted from both Cillian and George. All the things that Cillian told her might as well be true if this was a different genre. I was glad that she got to mature and found her voice in the last two chapters and at the epilogues.
