Cullen grew up in rural North Carolina, but now lives in the St. Louis area with his wife Cindy and his son Jackson. Seems like some futuristic world and our main character, Nadia, is part of some emergency medical evac team. The artist, Valderrama does a wonderful job bringing this world to life. One of her missions ends tragically bad. She goes through a bunch of questions/interrogations to see if she is ready to get back in the field. Once she does, and what she sees on her first mission back is wild!! Nice first issue.

I loved this more than I thought I would. The story is exciting and emotional. Personally I think the shorter length of the story works well; keeps the pacing balanced without dragging things out. I love Cyberpunk 2020 & 2077, and this was a great exploration of the established lore! I have to say, the art is probably in the top rankings of my fave comic art ever.

Review for all 4 books

Solid cyberpunk stuff but nothing amazing either. The settings are all good, ambiance is there, but the plot is somewhat predictable and 4 issues are not quite enough to really root with the main character.
Art and colors are quite good though.

Trauma Team #1 is a companion comic to both the existing Cyberpunk RPG mythology and the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 videogame. The first issue of the series captures both the technological dystopia of the genre and the brutal action of the setting without heavy exposition or frivolous fan service. This story can't replace the game, but it does feed the need while we wait.

Welcome to Cyberpunk 2077

I bought the game and played for an hour last night, my first exposure to Cyberpunk in years. This short series seems like a good way to enrich the gameplay.

3,5 gwiazdki ⭐

Nice story. It was fun to read about history from "ordinary" person point of view, working for corporation in Cyberpunk world

An nice comic with some great drawings, which didn't have the right narrative punch for me. Or at least it didn't deliver it well enough, such that I could really feel it. This might be mainly due its shortness and pacing - for while I sense complexity in each character, I couldn't spend enough time to really attach to and understand them.

For a comic book based on a video game I thought this was really well done. Here we have a mobile armed trauma team that are paid to save their clients in very violent areas of the city. The character this team is tasked with saving reminds me of someone you would see in a Judge Dredd comic. I think the story overall is very Dredd-like.

I'm a huge Cyberpunk 2077 fan. Glad I had the opportunity to read this comic as I feel the game severely lacked any real Trauma Team involvement.
The art style is beautiful, I'd say it suits the feel of the CP2077 universe quite well. The story is absolutely compelling and emotional, it easily reflects the harsh and dystopian realities that you face with being a Night City citizen. I enjoyed the read for sure. Great insight into the lore, and getting to see things from a TTI employee's perspective. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! On that note, I will be reading the rest of the TT series.

Note: my comic book rating system is a bit different than my normal book rating system. I rate my comic books compared to other comic books, and don’t rate them compared to normal books.

Okay, the art in this was awesome. I loved the bright colors, the character designs, and how the artists represented the Cyberpunk universe.

The thing that separates this from some other comic books I’ve read is what the story primarily focuses on. This story focuses a ton on loss and PTSD, torn between revenge and doing the job. It was represented really well, in my opinion!

I am feeling and processing a lot of emotions right now. This graphic novel is nothing short of stunning art wise, and the story perfectly (in my opinion) summarizes the haunting realities of PTSD. I honestly am so glad I read this.

Why did I only give it four stars? No shock, Cyberpunk rarely has happy endings, but I really had hopes that this would pull a happy one.

Overall, totally worth the time, money, and emotional trauma.

I haven't even played the game Cyberpunk 2077, but this work makes me want to play it. I loved the overlap in storytelling when Nadia is describing her trauma to a company person in the form of a flashback while making it seem like it's presently happening. The story was fragmented in the sense of Nadia's flashbacks to moments like these, but it provided context for her situation in the best possible way. It showed rather than told. Also, I love the art style!

This was actually better than I anticipated. Loved getting some insight on TTI despite not having a lot of them in the game. The art was incredible and I loved how the environments matched the game locations. The art communicated the locations really well, it was easy to follow despite the fast-pacing and chaos.

Pretty amazing story, I love the world of Cyberpunk & it’s awesome to get to know more about the lore of the Trauma Team, every character & every profession is fleshed out perfectly.

Blackout explaining the BD’s as well was awesome, I just love when games branch out into more sources of media.

Amazing art & characters.

An excellent Issue #1.

I love the Cyberpunk universe, and this story is a perfect for for it. The art is great to, with a style that gets that gritty, grungy Cyberpunk look while remaining clean enough to look good.

Great storytelling

A complex character in the cyberpunk high-tech/low-life setting. Great attention to detail and the action’s spliced with surprising emotional content. If this is an indication of what the game offers - then it’s a sign of something brilliant.

Life on the edge... between Esprit deCorps and the Hippocratic Oath.

Story is fantastic. Every panel pushes the story forward. Looking forward to the game in December. Intense. Waiting for next issue.

Trochu mi to pripomenulo prvý Raid a nového Dredda.
Priamočiary príbeh odohrávajúci sa v jednom baráku.
Fajn napísaná Nayda s PTSD, ktorá doslova šliape z blata do kaluže.

Bueno aunque corto.
