After the week Nadzia had, she was on the verge of a mental breakdown. Learning aliens exist was freaky enough, let alone being chased and imprisoned by her own paranoid government. Then her baby sister decided to go live on a foreign planet, and her dad was nearly killed by a missile strike. It was enough to bring her to her knees.
Aculus, a bone-armored warrior, proved to be her lifeline. He saved her more than once, and assured her he had the ability to heal her dad on his home world. Aculus even reunited her with the sister she thought died in a plane crash. Putting up with the hopeless flirt and total bonehead as they traveled across the cosmos was a small price to pay for such miracles.
When Aculus met the delicate beauty, she was wounded and afraid, instantly inciting his protective side. But Nadzia swiftly put him in his place, making him laugh with her spirited retorts. Then he discovered she was the only one who could strip away his armor, revealing the male within. He should’ve been overjoyed to find the female every Osivoire male hunts for, his weakness; except the timing couldn’t be worse. Nadzia was courageous, but she’d need more than her brazen wit to survive, if the Conclave discovered she was his mate.
Somewhere between Earth and Osi, amidst their sarcastic banter, Nadzia falls in love with Aculus. Is she brave enough to take a chance on love? Can she prove to Aculus and everyone else she’s more than some weak human? To hold onto the man she loves, Nadzia will have to dig deep and unleash her inner warrior.
Writing is my hobby. As a child, I had a hard time learning to read, so anything I took an interest in was deemed acceptable. I have always enjoyed fairy tales, the older unsanitized versions, as well as the modern ones, mythology, science fiction, action and romance. As I read, my mind wanders, spinning its own tales. So, I figured I’d share my ramblings with you. The books I write contain little snippets from my life. I leave it to you to decide which scenes are fact, fiction, or a bit of both. I am far braver and bolder than is likely sensible, so my heroines are just as gutsy. I'd probably be categorized as an adrenalin junky. My life has been an adventure. I've done archaeology in the hot sun, am well versed with power tools, took Tae Kwon Do in college, have ridden on a Harley with a dark stranger, but never met an alien, vampire or shifter, that I know of. My stories are tawdry, feature a heroine who is gifted in some way, and will always end happily ever after. It is my opinion this is meant to be entertainment, and a depressing ending is not entertainment. Real life offers enough depressing crap. However, I have been called dark. My apologies for my horrific grammar. It is something I struggle with. It is probably connected to the slow reading thing. Believe me people have tried. I truly hope that my fairy tales make up for it.
This was a pretty good re-start to this series, though there weren't enough of the red-devils. The author navigates the well-worn path of a lone human woman interacting with a handful of alien males, one of whom is oddly attractive to her.
Not the best in the series, but still enjoyable. On to the next.
Nadzia and Acculus story was hard to put down I mean, once I got past the whole exoskeleton guy thing and just focused on the story, it really just pulled me in and I stayed up all night to finish it! I loved both of the characters personalities and I thought they complimented each other. There was a lot of action and the story hit some emotional buttons as well as some of that parental guilt/pressure that makes kids rebel and become heroes of the universe just so they don't have to ever come home kind of thing? Lol or maybe I'm projecting, any way, it's A lovely and emotional story with enough action to encourage a severe loss of sleep. I only wish that the next book was already written because I need to know what Payim finds on that planet!!!
I really enjoyed this book in series in the book off the bat I was glued to the story plot. The adventure and the chemistry between the main characters was incredible I wasn't disappointed at all with this book. Stephanie West really knows how to capture the readers attention . I freely voluntarily review this book for my honest opinion.
I am reading this series of books and they are enjoyable. The characters have developed a kinship of sorts because they want peace and to stop the kidnapping of various species, including humans, and slavers. Aculus from previous books is all alpha, super clever, and intelligent. He is a good person although he hides it and his true role. Aculus is working to form an alliance with Keagan the leader of the Cadi people. This book picks up after the previous book six where Aculus is helping Nadzia’s family, a family of humans. The family is so happy because Provenance, one of the sisters, is truly alive and well with two mates on Cadi. In addition, Brennan, Nadzia’s father, was mortally wounded on Earth and Aculus stepped up and offered the help of the chief medical officer on his planet to save Brennan. The family accepted the offer and the story begins there . . . . Along with the growing bound between Aculus and Nadzia. . . . Read On!
Talk about a wild ride! I love this story! It has a rescue with a narrow escape and near tragedy, hostile family, and an outrageous bounty on our hero’s head. Truly, never a dull moment. On alien worlds, humans are so undervalued. I love seeing Nadzia outsmart her rivals, exhibiting skills others have never learned. When situations don’t look promising, she channels her dad’s advice, straightens up, and does whatever needs doing. Her ability to make friends in unusual circumstances brings untold benefits. I adore Aculus! He loves Nadzia so much, he will give anything to keep her at his side. I love the humor that has me chuckling at Aculus’s playful remarks. The ending has me sighing with pleasure. This is edge-of-your-seat excitement, with a couple who will move heaven and earth to stay together and to keep each other safe from harm.
So even though this is still in the universe and storyline of the Cadi Warriors series, it is in fact predominantly set on another ally’s planet, Osi.
This is Hope’s and Bonehead’s story as predicted by Abby, aka Peanut, from Abby and Ashtoret’s book. The banter between Nadzia (Hope) and Aculus is great as Nadzia doesn’t let him get away with all his womanizing and flirtatious ways. Paying of the Cadi does travel with them to Osi as an Ambassador of sorts between the allies and to make sure the human females father, Brennan gets the healing care promised by Aculus and his people.
This new world and their traditions was a nice addition to the Cadi series. I look forward to more interaction between Aculus’ people and the Cadi.
This book takes up where we left off with Pru’s father Brennan hurt and they are taking him to Osivere- Aculuse’s home world. The author has a fascinating imagination. The Osivere home world is fantastic. Are fascinating. Their culture, family units and just everything was so interesting. This two are hella hot! I love that Hope is a feisty heroine. The witty banter is so enjoyable. I Love Prudence’s whole family. My favorite thing was that it was full of wildlife. I love animals. The ups and downs of a budding relationship, these two explored their differences. I am happy Payim is the next story. I highly recommend this series of books. I’ve read every one and thoroughly enjoyed them.
This a definite 5 star book full of romance, love and plenty of action. I really loved how each chapter had a title so you could guess what would be coming although each chapter was more than what you guessed. Nadzia had a difficult path to becoming Aculus's weakness but it was fully worth her effort. Once Aculus knew Nadzia was his weakness, he knew it would be an obstacle to get through to his conclave that she was his but he also knew their love was worth any obstacle. Their love conquers all!
I just finished this book the 7th 1 in this series. And the very last chapter left me with the idea there is another book coming but nothing was said about what the title is when it's gonna be released and is it going to be the 8th book in this series. If it's going to be a new series that's great! I just want to know more about it. I feel like you left me hanging on the cliff !!!
I was so glad when Stephanie West decided to pick the Cadi Warriors series back up. I loved the previous book and was left a bit frustrated by the last one and how it ended without a real conclusion, so many characters in need of a real ending.
I really enjoyed Warrior Revealed, it was nice to be transported back into this universe. We got to go on a new planet, meet new people, learn new customs. However I still prefer the Cadi planet and I can't wait for Payim's book to come out!
These two make a cute couple. It was interesting watching the MMC develop over the last couple books. He is jovial most of the time until he gets home and has to deal with his family. It was interesting encountering a matriarchal culture - there are so many more females than males.
I loved this book!!! It had action, drama, suspense and love all wrapped together. Loved all the characters!! This story had you on the edge of your seat and I could not put it down. Stephanie West knows how to give you everything you want in a story!!
Aculus and Nadzia finally ! Aculus is such a character . A playboy , a flirt and Nadzia calls him bonehead! I have really enjoyed this series yet I enjoyed this book the most.
Love this series! Aculus was a total babe in a shell. Great story telling and I sure hope there will be more! If you like aliens a HEA and steam in your books like I do this author is fabulously talented.
A fast pace sci-fi romance with plenty of adventure. With wild new worlds and exciting new characters with some old along the way. A great addition to the series with an ending that leaves an opening to more future stories.
Loved reading this book. First one I read in this series. Had been reading other one and finally read author notes about reading order. Oops. The author has talent for weaving story of unusual. Looking forward to others.
Another epic story from Stephanie West. I loved it, i wish it's had a re-read of what happened before but was too desperate to read this when it released lol!
Aculus is an enigma in a hard shell exterior but spends much of his time as a saviour of slaves. Nadzia is his latest save and she has his wicked sense of humour.
It was interesting reading about Aculus and his people. I like that he appreciated Nadzia's true name instead of calling her Hope like the rest of the humans.
