I'm stuck. Stuck in 2 dead-end jobs, with a sister to care for, without hope. Could the mysterious suited Liam be my salvation?
But how much is he expecting from me? How much of me does he want before I get a way out?
Do I have to be. . . His?
His is a BDSM series from a No.1 award-winning romance author. The story includes explicit and rough scenes, and dominating, alpha male behaviours.
If you are looking for a steamy, sexy read then look no further! This book contains serious adult themes and is not intended for those under 18 years of age.
Sadly, if I could actually rate this with zero stars, I would. I was hesitant to download it, because the blurb seemed seemed like it contained too much for the story to be complete in only 65 pages. And I was correct about that. This is not a book. It's not even a novella. It's a teaser. This 'series' is truthfully just a single book broken up into 'bite size' portions, presumably so that the author could claim she's written a series, or to fool the Amazon algorithm into suggesting her titles to as many unsuspecting readers as possible.
The 'story' is little more than an excuse to write horrible sex scenes, allegedly from a BDSM standpoint. This fails right off-no safe word or go-no go list is even considered before Nina ends up chained and spread on a wall mount. No condoms are mentioned until she wakes up after, no lube was mentioned for anal (which is a great way to cause injury), and, of course, Nina goes right along with everything, too caught up in her lust, caused by his opening comment of 'I want to devour you' to care about anything else. Frankly, it reads like a bad '50 Shades' fanfiction, which was already a bad 'Twilight' fanfiction.
And I'm not even touching the actual writing itself.
Will I finish this 'series'? No. Will I read anything else by Ms. Brayden? Also no.
Nina is struggling to make ends meet working 2 jobs to support her and her little sister after a tragic accident leaves them on their own. Nina is a good sister and wants what is best for her little sister but never takes time for herself. When Nina meets this nice-looking man at the men’s clothing store, she works at he leaves her breathless and that seems to be all she can think about is him. When her friends convince her to go out for drinks, she finally decides it’s time to have some girl time and maybe find a friend for the night, what she doesn’t expect is to find the guy from the store. Liam is his name and is just as taken with her as she is him. He asks her to dance and they hit it off. Liam asks Nina to spend the night with him and man do the sparks fly!!! But what will she discover about him does he have secrets? Is he hiding something? She soon realizes the man she really likes she knows very little about. This is my first book to read by this author and I really enjoyed her style of writing. I can’t wait to see what plays out for this couple. I was glad to have been given an ARC copy and I an gladly and voluntarily leaving my honest review.
i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Nina and Liam. Nina is working two jobs while raising her little sister. Their parents were killed in a car accident. When Nina goes out with friends, she meets Liam again. He was a customer earlier that day where she worked. Liam is determined to be with Nina and after a night of dancing and drinking, she returns to his house with him. they have an amazing encounter and an instant connection, but Nina wonders about Liam and who he is and how he is so wealthy. After snooping around, Nina finds some things that make her even more curious about who Liam really is. This book did end on a cliff hanger. There will be more to this story. I liked Nina so far, she is a hard working woman and very strong. Liam is very mysterious and i wonder about him. I can't wait to read more.
At 24, Nina is struggling to balance taking care of her 12 year old sister, after her parents fatal car accident two years before, working two jobs, and still having trouble making ends meet, while wanting to find a job in the field that she went to college for. She doesn't have time for men and relationships. She has her own responisbilities to think about. Now not only has their AC went out, Josie is having a hard time in math and needs a tudor. A girls' night out is just what she needs, but not what she expected at all. Liam is a beautifully handsome man who had come into Nina's work earlier that day, now he is at the club as she is and he wants to dance with her instead of either of her friends who she believes are much hotter than she is. What will come of this girls' night out?
This story was a great start to a story that I will definitely have to read the rest of. It told the story of a stressed out young woman, Nina, who was responsible for taking care of her young sister after her parents died. She ends up meeting Liam while at work and they both were attracted to each other. This story was steamy and a little mysterious. It supplied a good background of what Nina was going through in her life. We don't find out much about Liam but with the way this story ended, I'm positive we will learn more in the next book in this series. I can't wait! I received an ARC copy of this book from the author and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. Nina has been handed a raw deal - bringing up her young sister after their parents were both killed tragically. Working in the clothing store she meets Liam, then hooks up with him again at a function. I loved the steam and look forward to reading part two of their story.
Enjoyably Naughty “His Debut” is Nina and Liam's story and it’s a short, dark, and twisted tale with plenty of sensual attraction to keep you turning pages.
I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily
As always with this author she delivers a hit, she never disappoints. Quick and steamy. I loved every minute of it. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed Liam & Nina's book. Good characters. This was an intriguing read. And a new author for me. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
