4.5 Stars for It Happened at a Wedding (audiobook) by Wendy Dalrymple, Rachel Bowdler and Riley E. Smith read by Valentina Ortiz.
I enjoyed this collection of stories based loosely around weddings. I liked all of the different perspectives. I often hear stories about weddings from my wife. She plays violin in a quartet and is actually performing right now in Sedona. I’m sure I’ll hear some more good stories when she gets home tonight.
Beneath that, something else hummed when Wynn’s arm braced around his shoulder, despite the fact that Alex was taller and he had to stand on his toes to reach: something new, something warm, something that had always been there and something that he had always hidden from.
I read ‘May the Best Man Win’ by Rachel Bowdler, and I absolutely adored it! Alex and Wynn were such great characters and I fell in love with their banter instantly. I’ll definitely be checking out the rest of the stories in this anthology when I get a chance, this one was wonderful!
