A step up from beginner level
I view this book as a step up from beginner level. While the author explains some terminology, he assumes you know much of the basics already. What I did like about book 1 was that the author used examples from outside the business arena to make his points. That helped me see how something I am familiar with in my everyday life is similar to something in the financial markets. In book 2 I liked that the author was very realistic in his approach to options startegies. He says that options trading is a bit more complicated learn and that the learning curve can be steep at times. However, he also points out that after some time it all makes sense and becomes easy. I thought this approach made the author and his book seem reliable. He was not painting a picture that I can become a millionaire overnight. I think that made the book seem legitimate. Overall, a great resource for someone interested in entering the options trade.

Well in order to answer that question you must first know what options are. This book explains what options are and why you may want to trade them opposed to stock or bonds. It also lets you know the risks involved and compares it all the other types of trading. I recommend this book to anyone who wants or thinks they want to trade options.

A must have
Anyone interested in trading should read this book. It was well written and thoroughly explained things like intrinsic and extrinsic values. It also talked about setting up what would be an acceptable loss. Great information!
