Savage, a bounty hunter and half-Rabian shifter, needs a woman. He needs his wife, Alaya. He’d left her alone on their wedding night three years ago after she’d screamed in fear when he’d become highly aroused and started to shapeshift. Now it is time to face his demons—to consummate his marriage or end it. Fate steps in, sending them headlong into danger. Seeing her again ignites his desire and jealousy arouses his dominant nature. Using her passions against her, he persuades her to submit to him for all to hear. But even if Alaya can adapt to his feral lust, unseen danger lurks, waiting to rip them apart again. Must be over 18 to read.
L.A. Day exists only in the mind of Laura. An avid reader since early childhood, she began writing romance in her teens. Now, 50+ years later she’s progressed to steamy, sexy romances. Supported by her husband of many years, she spends most of her time in front of a computer weaving tales of love and lust.
Multi-published, her stories have been tagged imaginative, steamy, and even one of the most erotic stories ever read. She writes about bikers, shifters, vampires, aliens, CEOs, time-travelers, and more. Her books always have alpha males and a happy ending but never have a cliffhanger. She feels that if you’re going to create an alpha male character, why not make him bigger, stronger, more well endowed than any human man could ever be? It is fantasy after all.
3 1/2 stars, Savage is a bounty hunter who three years ago married but when he was about the consummate his marriage his wife saw his true self and screamed so he knew that he had to leave and send her to live with his aunt. Three years later when he hears the planet that his wife Alaya and aunt live on has been attacked he rushes to their rescue. Savage has always loved Alaya and the thought of her captured is to much. When he see's Alaya he knows he has to finally make her his.
Alaya has loved her husband for years and has missed him but seeing his rejection was to much, now three years later under attack Alaya knows he will come and save her. When Savage see's Alaya with a man who makes it clear he wants Alaya for himself Savage knows that there is no turning back he will make Alaya his and protect her at any cost. This was a good book I wish we could have gotten more but for a short story it left nothing out. Savage was a strong, possessive, fierce hero who loved Alaya and killed without thought to protect her. This was a fast paced book that took off from page one and didn't stop till the end. This book is part of a series but can easily be read as a stand alone(which is what I did). **Spoilers** there is one part in the book that I didn't like, and it consists of Savage's friend seeing Alaya and Savage while they are "together".
