So my rating on this 0.99 book is purely for one Novella within this book. Written by the BEST Alien Sci-fi Romance Author EVER! Ms. ELLA MAVEN... She was the only reason I bought this book. I plan to make my way through the rest of this book eventually though...

Her story is called "Rescued From The Depths" and it's concerning the Drixonian Warrior "Quist" who we met briefly in the Freshas in Xavy and Tabitha's book I believe... I was always curious about this aquatic Warrior and wanted to know his story. It was interesting.

This brief Novella was a little intense, a whole Lotta Sweet, and just Sexy enough... Though I hoped Quist and Sierra would one day get to be with his brethern, I get why that just wasn't possible right now.

This one was a quick read, but it answered my questions regarding this warrior.

So I'm happy with it. I would have preferred a few more chapters though, and a bit more intense building within their coupling. There's only so much you can do with 6 chapters and brief epilogue, however.

This review is for Lucee Joie's contribution, Seized by the Alien Berserker.

Erica and Grim's start! 3.5 Stars.

This is the beginning of Erica and Grim's story. Last we knew, she was shipped off to the Lindworm expedition by Jarl Leke to be killed. What Leke didn't expect was for Grim, a berserker, to break through his berserker rage when he realizes Erica is his fated mate. Grim grabs her and does what he needs to do to save Erica, because she is his!!

This was a fast and steamy little short prequel to the Galactic Berserker series. I enjoyed it but can't wait for Erica and Grim's full story.

Even though this is an ARC review, I will always shoot you straight. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

*This is the review for Cass Alex's contribution, Her Runed Alien

We finally found Skarde!!

I've been waiting for 5 books in Lucee Joie's Galactic Vikings series to find out where in the world is Skarde. Cass Alex gave us his story in her crossover contribution to the Alien Embrace anthology.

Skarde wakes up in an escape pod, with no memory of how he got there, plummeting towards an unknown planet. The planet is crazy uninhabitable and he barely makes it to a secret base before getting eaten by the native plantlife. At the base he's taken to the doctor, Rachel, who just happens to set his runes on fire. As Skarde and Rachel are trying to get to know each other, something goes horribly wrong with some of the new secret specimens that came in for testing. Thank goodness, it seems to be something that Skarde may have some knowledge about, so he can help get his mate to safety.

Even though this is an ARC review, I will always shoot you straight. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Review for A.J Macey's Saved By the Stars

Sci-fi is a step away from the norm but is well done here. I'd recommend reading the glossary of terms at the starts to give background information.
The world building was superb, steam level medium I'd say - an encounter with each of them - and the FMC was easily likable.
I really enjoyed the balance of nature and tech.

Review for Ice Planet Prison by Alexis Osbourne

I wasn’t prepared at my intense feelings for this book. It is a bit dark but I was grim at the injustice done to Keira. I kept hoping that it would turn around and it did to a degree but not where you get a warm fuzzy feeling at the end. I thought this book had a superior storyline with a creative plot but, warning, there could be triggers for some readers.

Review for Skoar by Ava Ross

I am in LOVE with this series! Ava Ross continues to delight her readers with this one. This quick read will keep you smiling and wanting a Driegon male of your own! The Driegon alien males are smoking hot alphas and they are looking mates. Only one woman will start the Torrent and Skoar has found that woman in Layla. Awesome read…you will devour it!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Review for Caged Beast by Honey Philips

Dark but oh so delicious, this contribution by Honey Philips is EXCELLENT! I'm absolutely obsessed with Riker and Amanda’s story!!! The way Philips pulled me in to their world had me gasping and the sex scenes had my blood pressure through the roof!!! I would love to see this short extended into a full book…another solid story from one of my favorite authors. Enjoy!

This anthology started good but then it was going downhill. I started reading this in August and thought was going to finish this fast but it’s been 3 months and not even half way in the story . Just read this because of caged beast by honey Phillips . Which was good .

Most stories don’t even end with a HEA . And they just meet - fuck and it just ends like that .

Anyways these are the books I read .

1. Suddenly taken ( 4 stars )
2. Caged beast - ( 4 stars )
3. Her pointy alien - (4 stars )
4. Skoar - ( 4 stars )
5. Rescued from the depths - ( 3.5 )
6. Ravished by the escape - ( 3 )
7. Earth 4040 - ( 2 stars )
8. Zella unlocked - ( 2 stars )
9. Warrior in Chains ( 2 stars )
10. Seized by the alien ( 1.5 stars )
11. Lost girl ( 0.75 stars )

Review is for Glow Sticks by Mia Harlan and Sapphire Winters

Kira, Troza, Xereso, and Bhogan

Here is a cute short alien sci-fi romance and I really enjoyed it. We have some funny moments and some heated moments as well. You get a lot of other elements and amazing characters. We do get some fighting going. Why the fighting? Well its like the huge gladiator type of pit and men fight to eliminate others from the prize. What is the prize? Their mate? Kira decides to sign up for this because she is not happy anymore. She has been going through a tough time and now is getting out of the funk it put her in. So when she finally meets the men she will be a mate to. She is not disappointed. I mean you won't be disappointed with this short story. I do hope that there will be more of these aliens later down the line.

Anthology of aliens

Ravished by the Escapee, Jade Waltz

Ashley's birthday coincides with the Area 51 raid. She had her date all planed for the evening, an alien cosplayer ready to let her pilot his rocket. Xizi and his 2 friends have been unwilling guests to the US govt for 20yrs. Tonight a rescue ship is coming and has already made a distraction so they can slip out. Now he just has to find the mate he sniffed out 20yrs ago and get off this planet.

Spoilers ahead.
This is a zany romp. His understanding of romance comes from magazines and movies. She's a jaded relationship avoider. I love the tie-ins to other books. Characters are mentioned from the Project series, and another standalone that has a tie-in. One character, in particular, is of special relevance to the Project series. Someone with a mystery attached.

Her Pointy Alien, Margo Bond Collins & Nova Celeste

Ceri is done with her groping boss. The attempted robbery immediately after the gropes were the icing on the crap cupcake. So, the mountain of a man, who confronted her boss and the would-be thieves, asked her if she'd like to come with, a resounding yes was her response. To him. The boss got the bird. Now, what does he mean by mate?

Spoilers ahead.
This is very brief. Even for an antho story. It's kind of fun. We've all had "that boss" we want to tell off but can't because we need the paycheck. We all dream of a rescue. Maybe not an intergalactic intermediary but certainly to be swept off our feet and considered precious. MBC writes some interesting characters. I love her Lindi series, and the beginning of her space faring Thumbelina series so far. I would have liked to see them interact more without him guiding her with pheromones before the steam scene, though.

Warrior in Chains, Luna Jade

Zorina is the last. Her planet is dead, conquered and plague ridden. Raiding the invaders' base provides the only food and water options. Her last trip showed her a slave of their own kind. A hybrid, held for reasons unknown, but who didn't rat her out to his own benefit. Now she has to help him, in return.

Spoilers ahead.
I haven't read this author before, and an antho isn't always a good sample. This was...odd. The world setting is bleak. The reptilian aliens aren't very reptilian, outside of their scaled description. A lot of human slang, which, ok, I can see from the hybrid but not the others. Especially elitists. Every woman captured suffers horrors until they die or are killed. We never see it, but memories are there of seeing and hearing it. I will look for another, a full, book by this author and see if this is their norm or just something short for this compilation before making decisions.

I'll come back and read some of the other authors later but I'm sending in the review after these 3 for now.

I only read 5-6 stories in this anthology but they all shared the same problem. Minimal to no world building and attraction that comes out of nowhere, without any buildup - because why spend time on such trivial matters when you can just make them fated mates. No courtship or chemistry needed.

There are far better alien anthologies out there.

This is the story of Skoar. Layla is playing tour guide for the visiting Alien dignitaries of the Driegon race. She gets introduced to Skoar who is his heartspire. His blood roars through his veins and his horns elongate which proves that she is his Torrent mate. They visit some of Layla's wonderful places on Earth but now it's time for her to decide if she can leave Earth and go with Skoar to his planet. They make beautiful love together but the decision is hers to make. Will Layla go with Skoar? Read this short story and find out. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I've also read Seized by the Alien Berserker. 08/09/2021
A short taste of what the story is about. Erica is in a pen waiting for the lindworms to infest her body with their eggs. But here is a a Berserker that is in the pen who is suppose to kill Erika. But the strangest thing happens. He ends up getting his mating marks. He will now kill the woman but they need to escape. There is some action, running, and a steamy scene before the book ends. Will they get away from the aliens that are trying to kill the humans and use the Berserker's as weapons? Will Erica and Grim escape? Very short story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Here is another story from this collection of stories: This story is by C.L. Riley and Sapphire Stone called "Alien Boss." With Aliens coming to Earth most of them want younger human women that can have children. The Truls, who come from Inus Z are on Earth looking for mates. Charli knows that she's going to have to go a different route as the doctors on Earth told her that she's infertile so she will have to find a job off planet. Lucy, her best friend, opened the "Earth Girls Employment Agency" and Charli is ready to leave. Her new boss Vadrax is pacing waiting to meet his new employee. He finds her drunk so he had to take her home when she passed out. Charli was late to work the next day. But her new boss is having a hard time keeping his hands to himself as he knows that Charli is his fated mate. There are different dynamics going on but these two finally get on the same page. Their is a twist at the end that I really liked. Enjoyed the story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The next story in this collection is called Caged Beast: Folsom Planet Blues by Honey Phillips:
Amanda is taken from Earth and sold to Warden Nazort for one of the undeserved to fight over and have for 5 days. Riker wins Amanda and thus starts the beginning of their relationship. H can't understand why Amanda is his mate. There is action, drama, death, escape and passion. I was waiting for a better ending but there is just an ending with both Amanda and Riker still on the prison. Another story from the Alien Embrace: Collection. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Hot blue aliens!

This review is specifically for Glow Sticks by Mia Harlan and Sapphire Winters. I don't generally read alien/sci fi romance and RH, but I love Mia Harlan's quirky style so I thought I'd give this a go. Kira is relatable as a heroine, looking for a fresh start in a strange world. The action is fast, and her 3 mates are hot!

The rest of the book looks good, with a mix of prequels, previews and other related shorts. Based on this one, I'm looking forward to reading the rest of them!

Zip across the stars
From one end of the galaxy to the other, this group of authors have hit these stories right out of this world. They are all full of alpha males and the sassy women who steal their hearts. Just check out some of my favorites.

Suddenly Taken - Milly Taiden and Ava Hunter
One of my own
The ladies really amped up the enjoyment with this story! I love how Jo is super sassy and knows exactly who she wants, and Chuck is this gentle giant who is way more than he seems. This book is a quick read that was over way before I wanted it to be. The HEA was fantastic and I enjoyed the interaction between the characters. I am looking forward to reading more by these authors.
5 stars

Caged Beast - Honey Phillips
The strong survive
Such a fantastic little jaunt on this prison planet. I love how the author took us right into the story! The characters were amazing, and there are so many Easter eggs about what is to come. I can’t wait to read more about these two and the love they have for each other, not to mention all of the other prisoners who might just be worth saving.
5 stars

Skoar by Ava Ross
A lifetime in a day
Oh wow! Such an emotional roller coaster! I love these two characters. They have that instant connection and only a finite amount of time to change their lives. The author made them live in the moment and then she gave them forever. Just fantastic! I can’t wait to see what happens with the aliens next.
5 stars

Rescued from the Depths by Ella Maven
Arising from the foam
Such a heart warming story! I love how the author had these two meet and connect in the most unlikely of places. They are both so sweet and they just seem to adapt to anything thrown at them. This was a quick read, but well worth my time.
5 stars

Earth 4040 by Eva Priest
The universe can wait
I certainly hope this is not the last we see from the free alphas on the prison planet! The author took us on a wild ride that began with strength and terror and ended with such a deep contentment that the ending can be no less than happy. The characters are fantastic! She was able to put so much depth and detail into them in such a brief story. And how amazing and intense was the story itself? This book is fantastic and I can’t wait to read more!
5 stars

The Recruit by Danielle Kaheaku
Sometimes you just know
As a first experience with this author, it was a whopping success! I love the idea of these new cat aliens, and the characters were intriguing and left me wanting more. I enjoyed the danger the author brought to the story and how, alpha or not, this hairy hottie gave his lady love a choice. I really hope we get to see more from these two in the future because their story can only get better from here.
5 stars

Drasher by Harpie Alexa
To never be alone
This story was fantastic! I had a little bit of an issue picturing our hero in my mind, but his emotions and awesome heroism drew me in from the beginning. I love that his lady love was a little dazed and confused from the first explosion, and she was so accepting of his differences. The guy totally got the girl with this one, but the author left us with the hint of more on the horizon. I can’t wait to see what these two get up to next, and if they manage to have those kids our hero is desperate for.
4 stars

First Warrior by Tia Didmon
Breathing in life
What an absolutely amazing concept and story! I love how these two met, they way they came together, and the way they are starting something new. The author was able to capture so much detail into just a few short pages. I was captivated from the start and didn’t want it to end. Such a wonderful addition to this collection of books!
5 stars

Ice Planet Prison by Alexis B. Osborne
Thumping of his mouse’s heart
I love when the female lead is a strong character and she doesn’t even know it! This girl has gone through the worst of life and come out the better for it. Of course, not without a struggle and a strong alpha male at her side. The author blew me away with her story telling and I can’t wait to read more. This book ended in a HEA that could only be enhanced if they were able to have kids, but you never know what the future will bring.

A few of my favorite authors, Skylar Andra and Mia Harlan, wrote two stories in this collection, and I was very excited to see what they had contributed. Especially because I don't think I've ever read Alien romances written by them before. So, when I finished another book today early I knew I had just enough time to squeeze in their two stories.

What I really liked about those two stories is that they're so incredibly different. Glow Sticks, by Mia Harlan, is a reverse harem story clearly focussing on a more physical connection between the involved characters, while Skyler Andra's Draco Warlord is a m/f story where one of the characters is determined to not act on the physical attraction and to get to know the other a little better first.

Both stories also invented completely different reasons for the characters to meet the aliens. In Glow Sticks the main character is signing up to be mated to a group of aliens, just wanting to escape this life. In Draco Warlord the earth is becoming more and more inhabitable and a crew of women is searching for a new planet to live on.

Both stories manage, despite the fact that the stories are short, to paint a complete picture of the situation, the planets we ended up on and the aliens our characters are falling in love with. Just like both authors painted a picture of the normal lives of these characters. And even though there are three male love interests in Glow Sticks, Mia managed to give them three different personalities.

I hope I get the chance to check out the other stories in this collection soon, because I'm quite curious about the other worlds now!

The first story, Suddenly Taken had 14 typos. It's a short story.
At 7% I just finished reading Her Pointy Alien by Margo Bond Collins and Nova Celeste. I really liked this very short story. Because it was so short there wasn't any real character development but I still enjoyed these two characters very much. I just wish that as a reader that I could have followed them into space on an adventure.
At 48% there is a alien romance story by Tia Didmon called First Warrior. It's an insta-lust prequel. It's very short. I loved it. I want more of this world but can't find anything in her list of books on her website, Goodreads, or Amazon.
I'll be adding more comments on other stories as I continue reading this book.
I just finished reading Her Alien Warrior by Tricia Schneider. I loved it. I hope that I can find more alien romance written by her.
I loved Ice Planet Prison by Alexis B. Osborne. The aliens were shifters who lived below the ice planet's surface. This novella can be bought separately. I hope that there are more books about these shifters and their planet.
Rescued by the Alien Prince by Katrina S. Karter really needed an editor. It might have been an excellent story but all of the typos and sentences that made no sense were jarring.

This was so disappointing.

I am a big fan of furry romance stories, so I had been hoping that sci-fi/alien romance would be very interesting, but it very much was not. Furry romance authors are much better aligned with my interests.

Pretty much all of these stories were formatted and structured the same: 1st person alternating POV between human female and alien male.
Almost all stories featured a small human female paired with a much larger alien male. The male was almost always a warrior/soldier, heavily scarred, and lacking any respect for humans. The woman almost always had a terrible history of relationships. There was a complete lack of actual romance - instead the stories relied on instant sex with little to no actual relationship. Kidnap and slavery were common. Consent was often coerced through the use of drugs or mind-altering pheromones.
All in all, I was more frequently unsettled than intrigued by any of these stories.
I was not interested in a single author to read more of their work.

This was such a fab collection of stories I don't really know where to start with my review. It goes without saying that these authors brought their A-game and took me on quite the reading adventure, all through different galaxies with different kinds of aliens - and their differing mating signs, rituals and, um, appendages ;) Action, danger, passion and love flow through each story. While I haven't finished the whole book yet, I have already devoured Seized by the Alien Berserker by Lucee Joie, Ava Ross' Skoar, Mia Harlan's Glow Sticks and Drago Warlord by Skyler Andra. I cannot wait to see how late I end up staying as I dive into more stories from both one-click favs like Honey Phillips and Milly Taiden and new-to-me authors like Cass Alex ;) It's a great excuse to stay up past my bedtime...right? ;P

Short novella but action packed. Erica was bracing herself for sudden death in the arena at the hands of Lindworm alien or worst an Alien Beserker. Skallygrim aka Grim was a Beserker thrown into the arena to kill Erica.

Full of medicine to fuel his rage he was on a mission to kill until Erica steps into the arena. As Grim charges towards his victim he realizes that she is his Fated Mate and rescues her instead. I wish the book was longer but it was enjoyable reading of how Grim didn't give up in his pursuit to escape and be with his Fated Mate.

Her Runed Alien - Cass Alex
Skarde basically comes to as the pod he is crashes to the ground. He is having THE worst day of his life as the vegetation even tries to eat him, well he is having the worst day until he isn't. The doctor that they have called in to help him heal from the feral forest sets all his runes alight. She is his fated mate! Rachel is totally confused by the critic messages that her Aunt is giving her but thoroughly overwhelmed when a greek god, sorry Vikingr, gets thrown at her to fix. She finds him charming and little bit intense. The misunderstanding about mates and marriage is great as it the interruption by the assistant. Reallt fab short read.

Glow Sticks - Mia Harlan
This is hilarious. A great short read perfect for a lunch break escape. I love the drunk tattoo meaning that Kira has on her rear. The glow sticks especially. Note to self, so not drink when reading!
Kira feels that life is passing her by and she doesn't want to live with regrets. She decides to volunteer herself for the games in which she will be won as a prize, little realising the extent of what she has signed herself up for! Three brothers decide that Kira is theirs - Troza, Bhogan and Xereso. They will leave nothing to chance but will it be enough to win fair maiden? Truth be told none of these brothers seem to have a faint anything, let alone heart!

Seized by the Alien Beserker - Lucee Joie
Love it. He knows that he has been jacked up on drugs and he has no way of stopping it but he also knows that Erica is his one. Despite all the aggression he still has the ability to be gentle with her which speaks volumes. Erica, while she doesn't believe in the fated mates, still has an institual pull to Grim. Terrying as he seems there is something more there and as he helps her escape he feels like home.

Warrior in Chains - Luna Jade
Tis is great short story. There are some wonderful descriptions of the world and how it came to be like that. Just enough so you have the knowledge, not too much that it overtakes the romance and not to the detriment of the tale either. Zorina is potentially the last of her kind. To survive she has been hiding out in the desert wastes, once fertile and lush plain. She has been sneaking into a fort to take food and water. There she has seen Orion, chained up like a guard dog that you don't quite trust to keep you safe. As he helped her she is determined to help him back. Will this alliance lead to more than they could have ever hoped to achieve alone?

Skoar - Ava Ross
I have to say I loved this. I love the Driegons full stop anyway but where Skoar gets his words in a muddle and just how sweet and funny he is. Trees of palm, bless him. Steamy moments aside this is a fun and gentle romance really. Layla is covering for her sister to be a tour guide for the driegon ambassadors, she sees Skoar and likes him from the start. Skoar recognises her as his fated mate but what to do about that. They only have a day. Is a day enough to decide your future?

Tacori - L.P Peace
Tacori is suspicious of humans and with good reason. They destroyed a ship sent to Earth on a diplomatic mission and now deny all knowledge of the sacriledge. They are deceitful and cannot be trusted. Tacori takes the role he has been given by his king seriously. He is sent to go over a human ship which has appeared in their quadrant but whlie onboard the ship is attacked by another race. A pod is pulled in by his own ship and when he opens it he finds a human. The thing is the more he speaks with the human the more it seems that there might be more to it all than he thought before. Evelyn has travelled much with her diplomat family and she now has taken on the same role. She hopes that she can uncover the unfounded reason for the hatred the Klevians have of humans but before she can her ship is attacked. She wakes on a Klevian vessel with a downright growly Tacori. She desperately wants to get her crew back and the crystal which has some clue as to what happened in the past. Can the two enemies work together to do this? Definitely no touchy though, none at all!
I know a lot of people will see Tacori as an unworthy hero at the start but then if you think about what he has been taught and the misundertsandings along the way not so far-fetched really. I loved the descriptions and details of the other races and planets. Need to know what happens next now though! I am bad at waiting!

Ice Planet Prison - Alexis Osborne
Keira has been sent to prison for a crime that she did commit however the circumstances of it and reasons behind it should not merit what has happened to her. She tries to keep her head down and work but that gives the rest of the populous the feeling that she is above them. She's just trying to survive. You can't change a lifetime of jumping to the wrong conclusions. Ylur can see that Keira should not be there, so she is very different to the feel of the others but what to do about it? When there is a prison break he convinces Keira to go with him. Has Keira swapped one prison for another? They are so very different, can they get past the prejudices?

ALIEN BOSS:EARTH GIRLS EMPLOYMENT AGENCY

ALIEN BOSS

A fantastic read, absolutely loved it. Earth females are 5:1 when it comes to males. Some can be mail Oder brides for Trul aliens but most can’t. There is a choice to work for a Trul for a modest wage and a ticket off Earth. That’s the option Charli takes when she is told she is barren. Without looking at the job description in depth she agrees to go and work for a music agent. Star Hound Review - 5 Stars: When I saw that one of my favorite authors, Libby Campbell, was participating in a new Alien anthology, I was all in. After all, I LOVED her Lighthouses of Devmaer series that wrapped up not that long ago. So I grabbed this book asap. Ms. Campbell's Star Hound hit it out of the park for me! This story is set on Devmaer but that is its only connection to her previous series. In the story, Lacey, a young reporter, is sure she is hot on the trail of a big story and she throws caution to the wind to get it. Unbeknownst to Lacey, Emerson is a Federal Agent also on the story. He knows about Lacey on paper, but when they meet all kinds of non-business related feelings surface. Emerson is determined to keep Lacey safe and discover who is making young women disappear. Lacey is determined to crack the case and make a name for herself. As in the other books on set on Devmaer, the author creates a unique and interesting world that sucked me in from the first paragraph. I loved this imaginative story! I loved that Lacey was smart and did the work to get ahead in her career. I like that Emerson thought outside the box and didn't always follow the rules when they didn't make sense. I also really enjoyed the way he made Lacey feel. The mystery was great! I never saw it going where it did and as always with this author's work, I really enjoyed the varied characters in the book. You might get a first impression that turns out to be far from the real personality of a character - just like in real life. I also loved that there was a very satisfying ending. This was a gem!

Honorable mentions that I've read so far:
Alien Boss by C.L. Riley and Sapphire Stone- short and cute and I loved Charli's humorous comments.
Her Alien Warrior by Tricia Schneider - a sweet and touching story set among little hope. I look forward to reading more by this author.
Nebular Nuts by Michelle McLoughney - This went from creatively dire to very interesting in a totally different way and while not a cliff hanger, the story will continue at in an additional book.

Grab this one folks - it's a steal! I loved Star Hound and have been pleasantly surprised by some of the others in this anthology and I have more to read. Don't miss out on some great stories!

Romance genre: Alien sci-fi romance
Series: Anthology
Length: 2014 pages

Well this book took forever to read. I think part of the problem was that all of the stories were novellas or shorter. It was difficult to switch gears so quickly within the same book - it felt like every half hour I was changing settings, characters, plots. It's not as difficult to do that within an anthology if all the stories are just a little longer.

Like all anthologies, this was a mixed bag. There were a few stories that needed some more editing - grammar and story-wise. There were some that were okay but ended abruptly, either because they were prologues or lead-ins to other stories.

There was at least one that shouldn't have even been published (the grammar/syntax was so bad as to impact understanding of the story - not gonna lie, I was actually kinda mad about this. This is seriously disrespectful to readers. Either the people in charge of the anthology needed to vet their authors better or have a proofreader for the whole thing, to head those problems off - I found, just by looking through that author's Goodreads page, that all of her books are that poorly edited.)

There was one - Ice Planet Prison by Alexis B. Osborne - that was amazing - that was a definite 5 star for me.

If you are a fan of this genre, there are several little gems hidden in here; otherwise, it is a really long anthology that may or may not entertain you for a while.

Glow Sticks - Mia Harlan
Mia’s stories are always such over- the-top fun to read and this on is no different. I found the set-up unique: she volunteers to be the prize in an alien gladiator games because she’s bored with her life on earth. Very insta-lust, but also very satisfying.

Alien Boss - C L Riley
Another short story where she willingly leaves Earth for off-planet, this time to work. I really liked the banter between Vadrex and Charli and the dramatic rescue had my heart pounding.

Warrior in Chains - Luna Jade
This story was interesting because he is a half-human half alien hybrid, while she’s an alien native to the invaded planet. Between the invaders, the Ferals and the planet itself trying to kill them, the ending is perfectly paradisiacal.

Fated to the Dragon - Jessica Grayson
This story ties in with the Ice World Warriors series but features a new couple crash landing on their own. I really liked how sweet Ronin was to Kyra, taking the time for them to be comfortable with each other even though they were fated mates. A sweet (and spicy) short story.

So, I ordered this months ago and have been waiting for it to come along. Overall this is great collection. Some of the stories are better than others but they are all fast paced reads. There is a wide range of stories that all end with an HEA and involve aliens. I love this type of collection because it's a subject I generally enjoy and gives me a chance to find and try new authors. The only criticism I have is that some of the stories felt a bit rushed because of the shorter format - that being said, most would have positively benefited from a longer story but that's my personal opinion. I voluntarily reviewed several ARCs but did purchase my own copy.

This review is for Her Alien Conqueror by Skylar Andra. Rose and her crew are out looking for a planet to inhabit but run into some trouble when they land on Thraxs planet. This was good book Skylar did not disappoint. I absolutely love Tiff she had me laughing. I look forward to see where this goes.

This review is for Glow Sticks by Sapphire Winters and Mia Harlan. This one was amusing I couldn't stop laughing at the glow stick reference thru the book. Kira is unhappy with her life and job so she decides to enter the Mating Games. There she will find the mates who will claim her.ahe meets her guys Troza, Xereso and Bhogan. They spoil her and adore her.

A very fun anthology with some great short stories. Two of my favorites are Her Alien Conqueror by Skylar Andra and Glow Sticks by Sapphire Winters and Mia Harlan. Her Alien is about a group of people trying to find a place to live and establish themselves and realize the planet on which they have landed has beings already there. Lots of fun laughs and a fun read. Glow Sticks, though, had to be my favorite as the author included so many references to glow sticks, it was hilarious and fun to read. You can't go wrong with this anthology if you enjoy stories with hot, possessive aliens and the sassy, strong women they embrace.
