All my friends return to action! Except for Magnum, the original, killed in action. The Gatekeepers Academy is going strongly. Jules is just a plain old girl again, no deities bothering her. No special powers, no glowing green eyes. Just a beautiful mind in a young girl's body. Dean is still attached at her hip, they're a pair in almost everything, their love apparent to anyone with eyes and heart. The new Magnum is getting along, forging a relationship with Natalia. A friendship, nothing more. Slate is acting strange and his DNA is changed. Anytije, he's likely to become deranged and try to kill someone, but it's not his fault, but it's not his fault, as they quickly discover. Trying to find out what was done to Slate and by whom is what fills the rest of the story! Everyone is involved and all our friends are involved in the action. And a ton of action it is! But prepare for a huge cliffhanger!
All our favorite characters return in this action-packed sequel to The Survivors series, fighting to save the universe again! The storyline is as busy and thrilling as usual, making every page a new adventure. I desperately wanted to finish the book in one sitting, but sleep overtook my desire and I needed another session to complete! This amazing story is a great read in a great series!

Saving Shamall
We never tire of the Parkers. As titled, everything has changed but seemingly for the good. The Alliance has decided they needed protection and a military. Who better to head the operation; Magnus but he’s not our Magnus. Jules brought him from a different dimension where she worked with Dean Parker from another dimension. Jules traded her powers to stop inter-dimensional travel, so Magnus is here to stay. The one nagging piece left, why was other Dean obsessed with killing Carolyn Lauder?
Another death defying journey across the galaxy for the Parkers. Dean and Slate are determined to discover what Carolyn was up to and it leads them away. After leaving, Jules can’t stop thinking about her dad and Slates mission and of course has to help. Dragging Dean with her who will solve this mystery first Dean Parker or Jules Parker? I'm not going to review each and every of the 18, so far, books in this series because it would be exhausting. Suffice it to say, as I just this morning told my son, to have the talent to write a series of 18 books (so far) and each and every book be as engaging, thrilling and be able to pull a reader right into the story instead of being a spectator to it is so rare and his books do that. From book 1 to the current book 18. Also, these are not novellas or short stories. Each in this series is a full on NOVEL. I've been opened to genres I never thought I'd be interested in before and it's writers like Nathan Hystad that make that possible .... that make reading ..... an important part of my life.

This installment of the Survivors series was quite a departure from the last few as there are no timelines or special powers. It appears that's all behind us. I liked it a lot.
It seems each one of these books in this series gets better and this one is fantastic. It tells a great story and resolves most of the issues by the ending, but also sets up the next edition. I look forward to it.

Magnus is not sure where he stands with the group. Jules brought him back to her universe, thinking she was doing him a favor. Time will tell. Plus, Jules no longer has her Deity powers and is struggling with being a normal Earth teenager. Dean and Slate go looking for how many people have been abducted and had their DNA changed. And Slate is one of them. So this fantastic story continues. I have been enjoying reading this series. So onward I go to Book 16 with much anticipation.

Love this series
Feel for Jules, her character has changed a lot but I am hoping for a balance coming for her! This series has stayed true throughout and I could not be happier to have started it! Can’t a wait for the next book!

Another great novel in this series. Wonderfully written with great characters. Solving a mystery that has existed for millennia. Who has been abducting sentiments and altering their DNA? How do we find them? How do we stop them?

Another great storyline involving familiar characters and a familiar theme. Dean and Jules help solve a mystery involving Slate. There is the usual updating of the leading characters. It will hold your interest.

Fantastic
Another fantastic story with the Parkers. Between Jules and Dean I remained fixed to my seat wondering what was next. Then you add the wild adventures of her father and Slate you have a thrilling story right to the end.

Great book for people of all ages!
Great book for people of all ages. I like the variety of action of the father and his friends and his daughter and her friends. I got a real feel for good old fashioned story telling.

Good read!
Once Again they kept the action going so that I just didn't want to stop.It's becoming a pattern that they are going back and forth between two scenarios, which makes the suspense grow

Dual missions
Enjoyed the plotting and wonder if Jukes truly will remain without her special powers. Perhaps in the future she could learn new powers of leadership like her Papa has.

I have the box set for this series and I enjoyed this instalment. I liked how it alternated between Dean Parker and his daughter, Jules. I also liked the continuing of character development and relationships. There was a great sense of place and plot and plenty of action.

Excellent story focusing on slate, one of my favourite characters in the survivors story, the story telling is nothing more than excellent, switching between characters juwels and dean.

The Adventure Continues
each book continues to be better than the last. Dean Parker is thinking about slowing down and handing the reins over to Slate and Magnus. Mary loves the idea for them not to have so.many adventures and just enjoy their lives, but try as he can, Dean keeps stepping into his misadventures. You'll love the new directions , the "crazed" killer.Slate.turns into,but you'll have to read it.for yourselves. Couldn't put it down.
