My name is Cole Davis, but I go by Viper. I'm the VP of the Spawn's of Satan MC. Believe me, it's not where I want to be. My life has been one hell of a journey. But, I'm a lucky man. My two Old Ladies and kids make my life worth living. Yeah, I said two Old Ladies.

That's part of my story, how I came to have two women and how I came to be the VP of SoSMC. Mia, my future Old Lady, made a mistake one night and brought her best friend, Jennie, to a club party. Devil, the Prez's son, took one look at Jennie and decided he wanted her, until he didn't. That's where our story gets tangled and twisted.

Through years of turmoil, strife, and blackmail, I've fought for my family and for a few of the Brothers in the MC who weren't godless creatures with no soul. Who actually saw that some things in this world are still worth protecting.

Over twenty years I spent in that godforsaken soulless MC, until finally a light shined at the end of the tunnel that led me and a few select Brothers, their families and mine to an MC that epitomized what true brotherhood was all about. One that stood behind their men and their families. The Angel's Rebellion MC. Our salvation.

This is the story of our journey.

At the tender age of 5, I had my first thrill of motorcycle riding. Well okay, it was a mini-bike. Riding went well until it didn't. I crashed. I still have the scars. Fast forward a bit to my young teenage years when my true love affair with motorcycles began. It was then that I got my first and, sadly, only motorcycle. I rode constantly for almost 4 years. Though I took care of it, my engine finally gave up the ghost. It broke my heart.

My love affair with books started about the same time. When I was a preschooler, my mom read Little House on the Prairie to me. That was all it took. I was hooked. I could read before I started school, while kids my own age were struggling with their daily readers, I was consuming books. By the precocious age of twelve, I was hooked on Janet Daily's Harlequin Romances and totally convinced that I could write a romance book too. I wrote notebooks full of text. That's when writing became my dream.

In my late teens I was blessed to marry my best friend and love of my life. Two years later we welcomed our first child and his Irish twin arrived the next year. I was determined to go to college and enrolled after our sons started school. Professors encouraged me to write, but family life didn't allow time then. So my dream sat idle, but it was always hovering.

Before we retired, my hubby and I were drawn to become foster parents and later adoptive parents of four wonderful girls. During that same period I was diagnosed with a chronic illness and reading became my relief. When I read my first MC book, I fell in love, hard. During this time, I started talking with then-new author Cee Bowerman. After a few months of talking plots, one day she told me I should just write my own book. And the dream that had been idling, revved up.

I wrote my first book for me, to prove to myself that I could. Then I told myself if I could finish three books, I'd publish. My third book turned into a trilogy. Through all of this, Angel's Rebellion MC was born. And if I can provide readers with a few hours of pleasure, then my dream will have truly come true.

So this is my dream. Their voices. My way.

I am so upset with this one.
The writing was good, it was my favorite subject - MC, and the promise of having angst with two ole ladies was definitely there.
I know others feel the women were treated the same, and the H loved both the same. But, I did not feel that way, while reading it.
It didn’t bother me that he had two, and the scenes with the three together was hot. But, Mia got the short end of the stick. Yes, he said he loved them the same, but his protection, his words, his constant “everything Jennie” was annoying. Jennie was annoying. When Mia told her she loved her, and Jennie said she didn’t return those feelings? I was ready to throw my iPad against the wall. Are you kidding me? Twenty something years of sex (not just with their man either), and you don’t fall in love with this woman? This woman that saved your pathetic life? And the H hears the discussion, and doesn’t have a problem with Jennie saying this? Grrrrr

So, Jennie ends up having two people worship and love her.
Viper ends up having two people worship and love him.
Mia has one that says he loves her.
Fair?? I think NOT.

I am disappointed that it didn’t make me believe in the love for Mia, or give her what Jennie was given......someone sacrificing and giving everything for you. Selfish cow!

Hard for me to rate this book. Overall story was good. A little too cliché for me at some points. Some things were too over the top. Parts of the story I would like to have known more about. If you are not attracted to a woman, I just don't see how you could willingly have sex with one. The epilogue, NOPE.

Fantastic

Please don't be put off by the blurb, I very nearly didn't read this book as I thought I wouldn't like it. It's not about a man whore , it's about a family, a member of an MC that isn't being run well. Viper a family man through and through, loved by both his wives and children, he has a strong moral code to protect his family. Don't dismiss this book until you've read it, it's dark and gritty. Well worth the five stars, definitely following this author.

Great read

As a first book, this was great. I was lucky to be a beta reader, and this is my honest review.

One man, two old ladies, a hoard of kids and a crooked MC.

Viper loves his family. He loves it enough to stay with an MC even though it threatens that family. Biding his time, he keeps them safe until it's time to leave and make a better life for them all. There are twists and turns along the way. This is their story.

Can't wait for the next one.

The author made the thrupple unnecessarily confusing....and ultimately disappointing. At the story's origin, the inner thoughts of all three would support equanimity. Sadly, this essential concept was not sustained. I am all for menage,as long as there is that fair play and balance. Otherwise it is simply smutty... painful and NOT in an angsty romance tale frenzy fashon.
There is a conversation between Jennie and Viper that has a flavor of Favoritism towards Jennie and seemed to indicate he had to tamp down feeling for her prior to their arrangement. Feelings he feared would overtake his for Mia.
I felt like he should break out into Song.."Everything is Jennie, like in Bye,bye by Birdie...I am dating myself here,lols!...
Shortly thereafter, the author decides to cause imbalance via a deep interaction between the woman where Jennie admits she is IN LOVE with Viper, but not Mia,only feeling friendship love for her...yet they are all three in a union, a full on sexual relationship ..which would appear to indicate the sex play between the woman was more friends with benefits. This ruined it for me and was antithetical to what was portrayed in the first chapter... that could have, would have, should have set the stage beautifully...But instead for me,destroyed any foundation and extinguished that fabulous potential!!😜🤷

I read Viper not knowing exactly what to expect. I knew it would mainly be a retrospective book, setting the scene for the Angel's Rebellion MC books to come. I knew it was about Viper and his 2 old ladies, Jennie and Mia. What I didn't expect is how the story of how they became to be sucked me in. I kept turning the pages wanting to know what happened next. How did he end up with 2 women? How did they relate to each other as a trio and not get jealous? Their children? How Viper after 20+ years was able to get himself, his family and his good brothers out of a terrible MC and into one that was a real family? Sacrifices were made. Danger never abated. I had some upset moments when Reb and Predator's stories about Elle and Shea were told. There were a couple of surprises at end which made me laugh. And the steamy scenes had me asking for more. I can't wait to read more of the Angel's and eventually I hope to read Rebel and Predator's stories when the time comes. On to Mad Dog!

Did not finish. I tried, For one I could not get past him having two old ladies. They were all sleeping together, and just felt like Viper loved and was more attracted to Jennie than Mia which just left a bad feeling for me. The author kept trying to convince us that he loved them both equally, I just didn't feel it. It had a porn vibe to it. And the whole finding a biker club that seemed to be created for the Hallmark Channel just didn't appeal to me. I never thought I would say this with all my bitching about the other MC Romances being to over the top, this one was just tame, I wanted more.

So I was messaged by a friend and she asked "Hey want to read a book by a new author?" Of course I agreed. I am so glad I did. This book was amazing. The roller-coaster of emotions from sexy to sweet to mad to sad etc. Oh and the ugly cry Yes it is in here a few times. The explosion of chemistry between Viper, Mia and Jennie was amazing. The hilarious commentary tho between them and the kids was such a great break up of tension and drama. I recommend this book to my MC lovers and to anyone who wants to read a story that captures your attention and doesn't let you down.

I went into this one expecting another MC book, so I was very surprised when it turned out that Viper had 2 old ladies. I honestly expected to dnf this book at some point, wasn't sure it would work out for me. But there was enough back and forth between the present and the past for me to keep reading, to see how/why Viper ended up with 2 women and I found it very believable. It also helped that there were deep feelings on all 3 parties involved, that they worked on the relationship and made sure that there was love and respect and lots of dirty hot sex too. There were times when one of them would break down, it caused a big talk to happen and the "story" of their past got told in a new light to one of them, shocking the other and it was often done while the 3rd listened and through it all no hard feelings were had by anyone. It was so great to see that! It really made me think better for all of them. I also loved how the 3 of them parented all the kids as their own, even though there was a yours, mine and ours thing going on with them.

The stuff with the MC was crazy! I found myself really admiring Viper for what he did, how he sacrificed to make sure people were safe, to protect those brothers that were worth protecting, even helping others with an exit plan, not just looking out for him and his own family. The new club was interesting, I really look forward to learning more about it and it's people! But I really loved how this one ended for Viper and his ladies, loved how the family grew one last time and loved even more that we got to see them "old" still raising hell and loving each other!

Viper is the powerful debut novel by author Jeneveir Evans. The story, part of a planned series on the 1%er Angel’s Rebellion MC, is not a conventional MC novel. It weaves a complex, jarring and decades-long story about the life of Cole Davis, aka Viper, and his families, both blood and extended. The book presents a distinct a challenge to the reader in its complexity and detail.
The strong story line carries the reader back and forth fluidly through the years, starting with his initial prospecting in Kentucky for a rabid 1% as a legacy and his eventual break with the MC to protect his family. Some topics could contain triggers for readers so be cautioned that this book was written for adult readers.
Viper’s story is somewhat distinctive because he claims two Old Ladies and raises a passel of kids during his struggles within the Spawns of Satan MC. His character development is smooth and explained in vivid detail as he protects and defends his family and select brothers in the SoSMC.
The author has provided a character list that is significantly helpful because of the overlap between clubs in Kentucky and Arkansas. Truly looking forward to the next installment of this series, which is better defined as a saga.

I actually got this because of the 2 women and one man plot ... wanted to see how author pulled it across ... surprisingly their dynamics, interesting as it was, was not the main thing here ...
Nice read .. although the H's family were all too perfect and did the right, smart thing all the time ... almost a little too much perfection but ... it's ok ... I would like to read more in this series ...

A good first story.

Good story, with a lot of background for the main characters. The flipping between the past and present, was driving me a little nuts. I really liked the interaction between Viper, Mia, and Jennie. Then their interaction with their sons Pred and Rebel, is awesome to read. Especially in the epilogue!
Overall, the story a good one.

Refreshing take on the biker scene in that the hero had two old ladies (whom he treated really well too). Personally haven't encountered that before in MC reads. Enjoyed it.

Lost a star because of the corny as all heck ending. I was rolling my eyes. Too neat. Too coincidental, bordering on highly unlikely. Hated it.

Absolutely loved this book. This is the first book I've read by Ms. Evans and it was such a great story. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. So glad I ran across this book. Loved Viper and can't wait to read about the others of the MC. Moving on to read Mad Dog's story now.

Viper!

This was a good intro to a new series for me. Viper is a tough VP who has two old ladies and a passel of kids. There's unrest brewing at his homebase but he soon finds salvation with a new club. There's plenty of drama and sexy times too. This was a menagerie tale so you've been warned. While it's not for me, it first in this story.

What Am I Getting Into???

So this was my first read from this author, recommended in an MC romance group, and my first FFM romance. I’ve read a lot of MMF and MFM+ and had been considering giving FFM a try, but I didn’t know that when this book came to me.
This book really does cover the first 41 years of Viper’s life, and as such, there’s a lot to cover. I’ve never read a book centered around a patch over, and I’m assuming it’s necessary to go through all that history of Viper is going to be a significant part of the series going forward, otherwise it seems like a lot of story invested in a club that, by the end of the book, no longer exists. Will those patched over members be the ones we read about in the future, or are we joining in with the ARMC bikers as the upcoming focus?
Now, the ménage. Although I love reading it, I’m often left feeling sorry for one of the three, and that is the case here. Although the author takes great pains to declare that Viper loves both his old ladies equally, I’m left feeling like he definitely has a preference. One is definitely characterized as more “deserving” of Viper’s love, and it makes me sad for the sacrifices of the other.
Also awkward is the revelation of the women’s feelings towards each other. I could buy it if the feelings were mutual, and I’m surprised they aren’t.
Steam level is definitely hot AF, no shortage of MF, MFF, and FF. Author doesn’t hold back, but even in those scenes, this ménage doesn’t feel equitable. But Viper is undoubtedly a Good Man™️ and overall, the story works.
No idea what types of relationships are coming in future books, but I’ll see how it goes. Could use a little more action and a little less back story, but I doubt that will be the case with the upcoming “trilogy within a series.”

Jeneveir Evans delivers a gripping, adrenaline-fueled ride in Viper, the first book in the Angel’s Rebellion MC series. This story thrusts readers into the raw and ruthless world of outlaw bikers, centering on Cole Davis—aka Viper—the Vice President of the Spawns of Satan MC. His journey is one of survival, loyalty, and redemption, tangled with an unconventional romance that defies expectations.

Evans masterfully balances action, tension, and passion, crafting a story that’s as gritty as it is emotionally compelling. Viper’s dynamic love story—juggling two Old Ladies—adds layers of complexity and intrigue, making this more than just a standard MC romance. The timeline-driven structure might be challenging for some readers, but it keeps the pacing sharp and the story unpredictable.

Packed with high-stakes drama, steamy romance, and well-earned revenge, Viper is a must-read for fans of MC fiction. The thoughtful inclusion of chapter-opening quotes adds depth to the narrative, enhancing the overall reading experience. If you crave a raw, intense story of brotherhood, loyalty, and rebellion, Viper will keep you hooked from start to finish.

Outstanding

This is an outstanding awesome fantastic MC story which spans over forty years in the life of the MC. It sets the groundwork for the series to come. Viper is my new MC hero and his loving family of eleven kids-yes it’s true, and two Old Ladies makes a dream family. I really love this book! I will never see apple blossom trees shading a bench without thinking of this book. You will feel! I cried, I laughed so hard when they were breaking the news to the prospects about their new duties soon to come...my dog thought something was happening to me.

I don’t like stories with lots of flashbacks. This one has lots. I knew this going ... it’s the author’s writing style. Having this knowledge, I did not take away any “stars” in my rating. NOW you have this knowledge, so judge the story not the flashback writing style. If you decide not to read this story because of the flashbacks, you will be missing an awesome, fantastic MC story.
