Another terrific novella in this well written series. We get a different tale each time, and a new couple to watch, plus some previous characters at times.
Tobin, a smaller guy, blonde, green eyes,
after his hair is gone...
is a Pastry Chef, and like a brother to Reid. Tobin didn't want to miss out on living for every moment. The guys have an unforgettable night of super hot sexy passion.
Sergio, a famous Soccer star, has a rags to riches story,
dark hair, Hispanic, tall and sleek muscled. Valor had helped Sergio when he was younger, and looks up to him as a father figure.

After their night, Sergio wants more, but Tobin avoids him, because he doesn't want Sergio to know he's sick, or to feel sorry for him.
This short story shows us there are big-hearted people in the world who want to give and care for others, wanting nothing in return. Although here, Sergio gains a deeper love, even after his blunder.
You may need tissues handy.
These characters are so deserving of their wishes coming true. We slowly see why Sergio has his attitude, and we watch brave Tobin suffer through. Wow !
It's a man in need finding unconditional love, a total dedication and a future.
I liked Sergio overcoming his troubled past, and sweet Tobin's soul.

Good
Tobin is a pastry chef and does for himself. He relies on no one. Sergio is a huge soccer star whose tired of being used. They agree to one night. No strings. But is it ever that simple? This book pulls you in and makes your heart ache. Like these two just need to be loved and hugged all the time. Raw emotions sweep over you as soon as you start reading. Its a really good book. Deals with real life on so many levels.

Oh, my heart.....
Grab the Kleenex! Tears will be shed! Tears of happiness, of sadness, of sweetness, of just everything! These two are hands down the perfect couple! They both are just too sweet and make you never wanna leave them once the story is done! I was worried it would end one way and thankfully it didn’t or I don’t know what I would have done! Ugh , why can’t I just live in the stories with them all!?

Tobin is just a fighter who is so so tired of fighting. He is painfully shy and a talented pastry chef with 2 good, stubborn friends. But he is sick with leukemia and one night with Sergio opens him up to falling in love.
Sergio is now a successful soccer player, but his team betrayed him with his ex. He loses his love for the game, but he finds love and life with Tobin. Watching him care for Tobin is heart warming.
Seeing these two become each other's world was so sweet.

Tobin is trying to live life to the fullest while he can and so has no plans to repeat the great night they have together. Tobin is currently not in a great place to start a new relationship but that doesn't take into account Sergio's determination. Sergio isn’t the type to be pushed aside. Tobin is in his sights now. Unlike everyone else, Tobin deserves Sergio’s help and he’s not taking no for an answer. All he can do now is hope that life doesn’t steal Tobin before Sergio can save him.

This was an emotional read as you experienced Tobin's health issues and the ups and downs of their relationship. An emotional read that will have you reaching for tissues. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content. There is a major storyline involving cancer.
