Xander runs a fighting dome with his uncle on the colonized Planet Desra. The fighters are all female and they are all prisoners, purchased from the vile rat-like aliens the Taraquets, who transport them to the prison planet Prismn. They have two choices, either go straight to Prismn and see out their sentences or be sold to Xander, to fight in his dome for their freedom.
Fenolla wakes up on a new planet surrounded by a multitude of aliens, and none of them speak her language - but that is not the biggest surprise. The biggest shock is that she's being held prisoner by a 7 ft white haired blue alien with a rattling tail, skin bumps that raise with his temper and body bone blades. He wasn't the one to abduct her but he sees potential in her to help him get the dome off his uncle.
Will the chance to do her dream job as fight trainer lure her? Will her attraction to her alien capture get in the way of her bid for freedom? Will she want to leave?
I have just spent most of the day reading this book. And wow! It literally took me away. I've not zoned out with a book in ages, this one did just that. I'm not going to do a play-by-play of what happens in my review, that's not right. You need to READ the book to experience the awesome that is this book. The characters growth is so well written. The chemistry and the heat between the main characters = hot. The attention to detail, the way you are pulled into this other world, this other planet and the day to day lives of the people living there. Just wow. Definitely worth every penny. Well done to the author.
This is a new author and series for me and I found the book to be engaging and very well written and it held my attention the end. The book has a great plot and story line with an honorable alien, a feisty independent human, chemistry, dome fighting, drama, betrayals, danger, kidnapping, a daring escape and friendship. The main characters are well developed with great personalities and it’s easy to relate to them. The author did an amazing job highlighting and describing the emotions and feelings between Nola and Xander and their growing attraction to each other.
The supporting characters and relationships between them were realistic and well done. The uncle Xelus and Vengor (slave trader type guy) are so well written that you can't help but hate and despise them. I loved this book can't wait to read more by this author

The author makes you feel Nola’s pain of not belonging, of feeling worthless. And then her elation at finally being able to get the chance to do something she’s always wanted to do and help other women at the same time. Both the main characters suffer emotionally as they try to figure things out and realize how easily things can go so wrong, so very quickly. The fight scenes are breathtaking. My heart was pounding the whole time- that’s how realistic the author made it seem.
The first book in the Human Female Abduction series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is a new Author to me. Fenolla and Xander's story, has suspense, drama, danger, evil, villains, kidnapping, slaves, and romance. I want to read the next book. I have read so many alien romance \ adventures. They often are so similar to all the others. This tale is unique and fascinating. Romance adventure and fighting domes where women battle for freedom in a misogynistic universe. I will be reading more from this author
My first time reading thus author's book and was pretty impressed. Glad for the word meaning was put in front cover as I struggled to remember what some of the words meant. The story was good, characters were fantastical particularly all the aliens described, so many it made it hard to remember all of them but overall in the face of the scare and action is a good romance.
What a imagination this author has. Even though there are also lot of novel words, for example the words to express time, it easy to follow the story. There is an element of suspense which adds spice to the story. It is incredibly hot and the scenes are quite graphic. I recommend it to the genre lovers.
This is C. Y. Croc's book Xander Alien Halfbreed: A SciFi Romance (Human Female Abduction Book 1) and is the first in the series. Xander runs a fighting dome on Planet Desra. The fighters are all bought from the rat-like aliens the Taraquets and they are all females. The females have two choices either go go straight to Prismn and see out their sentences or be sold to Xander, to fight in his dome for their freedom. Fenolla wakes up and finds out she's being held prisoner by a 7 ft white haired blue alien with a rattling tail, skin bumps that raise with his temper and body bone blades. There's a good plot and story line with an honorable alien, a feisty independent human, hot steamy chemistry, dome fighting, drama, betrayals, danger, kidnapping, a daring escape and friendship along with a hot hunky alpha alien a great hot and steamy romance that I loved. The main characters are well developed with wonderful personalities and it’s easy to relate to them. It was an awesome book that I highly recommend.

I was sent a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. Xander is the owner of a fighting dome on the planet Desra along with his uncle. Nola is a fighter - kidnapped by the Taraquin who are illegally abducting human women from Earth. Being hurled into a violent existence where the women have to fight for their freedom, Nola comes up with an idea to help them - mainly because the means of fighting is unfair and under the current circumstances they will never be free. Xander notices Nola and through events manages to get her under his care. Events progress not only for the women but also for Nola and Xander as they come to realize there is more than just a passing friendship blossoming between them. Together they fight some pretty horrific challenges thrown in front of them and this book needs to be read to show just how Aliens and humans should get along and how that result can be reached. Highly recommend this author.
This is the first book in a new series and I can say I loved it! The cover put me off at first, but then when I started reading it I couldn't put it down. The plot is original - Xander runs a fighting dome on a prison planet where females are sent as prisoners to fight and gain their freedom. The story is full of non-stop action, suspense, romance and emotion. The characters are very well-developed and the reader can really relate to them in some cases. I'd like it though more if it was fast-burn.

When Nola is abducted on her way home from work she never would have thought she’d wake on an alien planet, having been sold to a fighting dome. Lucky for her she was bought by xander, a half breed who takes one look at her and is captivated. When xander offers her the job of a lifetime she accepts. However xander uncle isn’t pleased and wants revenge.
Absolutely loved this book, it has everything. It’s well written and the author has done some great world building. Can’t wait to see if there are any other books by this author, I’ll definitely be reading them if so.

I didn't think I would like this book at the very beginning, but oh boy, very shortly I was captivated by it. The varied characters were strong and determined and formed such a solid core group with the human fighter trainer at the head, along with the big hunky blue alpha. Major suspense comes from the female fights, kidnappings, illegal auctions and just plain bad guys. The banter and emotions from the core group keep the story lighter and fun. The locales were so descriptive you feel like you are there. Slaves, prisoners or free fighters, these females sure pack a punch... literally.

Well written and recommended. It has excitement, danger, fighting, emotion, suspense and so much more. It definitely kept my attention. The characters flow smoothly within the story. She starts out in a bad way and ends up in the job she wants with a hunky alien who got her to start with. I received a review copy from story origin and voluntarily review it.
This wasn't perfect, the romance was a little meh for me but I liked the characters and the back story. It was a nice break from sex slaves and mail order brides in this genre.
I enjoyed the story but there are a lot of unfamiliar words without much explanation. The words that mean minutes, seconds, years, months are confusing. Then there are names of drinks, body parts, etc. We are definitely not eased into the language. Maybe there is a prequel boom that I missed that may have helped my comprehension. The action is great. There are a lot of characters but I enjoyed them. The ending was nice and tidy with happy ever afters in abundance.
Great story! I like the idea of stories about the pups as adults.
Xixan and Nikki were Xander's parents. That was the first story I read! Nikki died saving Xander's life. Xixan died of a broken heart! Xander went to live with his uncle and never told his mother was human. Now Xander runs the fight dome with his uncle. Nola meets Xander when a new group of females arrive. They were attracted to each other immediately. She is not a prisoner fighting for her freedom but was abducted. How does Xander fix it?
An awesome exciting adventure, abducted by aliens, sold as a prisoner, and now must pay off her debt to gain freedom! Can she return to Earth, does she want to? Everything she wants is here until things take an evil deadly turn! Will he get there in time? Is it to late? Read and see!
I don't even know why I dropped this or whether I even dropped it in the first place. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume it annoyed me and was the final straw.
An okay story but I had a hard time liking the characters. Plus, the writing seemed inexperienced. There were points in the plot that just seemed either unnecessary and for poorly thoughtout.
