Sometimes in life we make bad and wrong decisions before we really think and find out which direction we should go. We just have to take time out and seek God and not act on our fleshy ways and thinking. This is what happened between Veronica and Kane. As the storyline opens up they find themselves in a compromising position of wanting to make love and dismiss the vow of waiting until they were married as husband and wife. What saved the day was Veronica’s cousin Selena calling on her phone and needed Veronica to come home because Selena thought the stove was leaking gas. Once Veronica got home and told Selena what almost happened between her and Kane. Veronica decides to call Kane to tell him they should stop seeing each other and before Veronica could finish and explain what she wanted them to do, Kane gets upset and hangs up the phone on her and throws his phone and breaks it. All this because Kane felt Veronica was breaking up with him. Will Kane and Veronica makeup and get back together or is this the end and perhaps Kane isn’t the right man for Veronica? You will have to read and find out for yourself because I don’t want to give any spoilers. I am really enjoying how this series is being written by the author. The characters are well developed and you can feel the emotions of each and everyone that is entwined in the series. The life lessons that the characters are experiencing and how they seek God and is Word for guidance. Their obedience to live a godly life and teach other’s the ways of God. After reading this story it gives those that are single to wait on that man or woman that God has designed just for you with patience. I highly recommend this book to read and especially the other books in this series. Cassandra H.

There hasn't been a book by Pastor Scroggins that I have not enjoyed. We finally get closer to Kane and Veronica's wedding, but a misunderstanding causes them to say things that they don't really mean. While Kane is struggling with his past and trying to figure out why he needs to move on, Veronica travels with her cousin Selena to tie up loose ends at home. But the last thing Selena thinks is going to happen pops up when she least expect it.
I thought this would be the last book in the series, but as I continued to read it, I'm sure it's not. I love how Pastor Scroggins not only uses some past characters to make the story pop even more, how you can feel God and his love all throughout the story. And the characters go through things most of us do, so the story is always extremely life like and real. I loved this book and did not want it to end nor was I able to put it down. Outstanding job

Danyelle Scroggins never ceases to surprise me. I have mentioned this before but I simply am not a fan of romance novels but decided to give her books a try since they are written by a Pastor and was hopeful of them. I have not been disappointed. She always manages to tell a story that are real life situations that any of us might experience. The feelings, the arguments, the break ups and the make ups, the emotional ups and downs. The characters could be you or your neighbor. I had a hard time putting it down and so will you.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I think the author did a great job with the characters. It was relatable because the pandemic was mentioned but the end left me to believe they forgot about the pandemic with that large gathering 😄. I love the storyline mentioned the names of some folks who lives have been sifted away. I like the way a short Spanish lesson was introduced and great heritage lesson. I loved the spirituality and the author dealing with therapy.
I would suggest reading this book for enjoyment, relaxation and hope. ❤️

Wow, I knew this book would be one my eyes couldn’t be moved from. This is written with love and the joy you get as a reader is phenomenal. Mrs. Scroggins is a beautiful person. If you are looking for a page turner author look no further.
A story about death, misunderstandings, forgiveness, revelations, the importance of keeping a vow, true love with God first, weddings, and parenthood. I really enjoyed this book.
Emotional & Inspirational! Once again, Danyelle Scroggins wrote a great read. The love story of Kane Jackson Booth and Veronica Kimbrel ignited hope and several wonderful emotions in me. The story was well-written with more than a few laugh-out-loud moments. The characters and situations in this novel were believable. This book reveals that a strong bond of family love is everything. Absolutely love the Scriptures, prayers, and words of encouragement in this novel.
I’m looking forward to reading book 3 in the series. Great job, author Danyelle Scroggins! Grab your copy.
