These were the last thoughts of a young man, shot by accident in a fight between local gangs. Little did he know that he would soon wake up in another world, a world of cultivation!

This is the story of the whoreson of a wealthy family, of a transmigrator that had no purpose in his previous life, of a demon that will make power his reason to keep on living.

Noah Balvan, after he transmigrated, will have to fight against his social status and the many difficulties of the world he was reborn in to obtain the power to stand free in the sky above anyone!

So let us start with the beginning of this work in progress right now as that is the biggest impression you will get of Noah right off the bat. He is focused and determined to get power. He refuses women, he refuses basic needs besides improving his strength, and he absolutely harms himself to obtain the ability to train at a younger age than he is supposed to.

The protagonist however does grow over time. An extremely similar novel to this one for an example would be 'Warlock of the Magus World.'

It is a book about a guy who dies and transmigrates into the body of an infant in the womb of his mother. He is born into what seems to be the medieval ages with all his previous memories intact and then sees something he cannot believe. A dragon, flying towards the castle in his mother's arms. Fire shooting out of its maul towards where he stands to be stopped by a single man's hand. The flame didnt even mark his body. Ever since that moment, the transmigrated Noah knew that in this world his fantasies could come true. He wanted what he couldn't get in his previous world due to his terrible luck and its lack of existence. Power, magic; and he strives more than ever to get it. Absorbing "breath" (what fuels magic in this novel) ,before he even grows the organ that can hold it, at a young age by having a terribly painful procedure done that essentially is drilling into his back and having breath sucked through focal points into his entire body constantly. Earlier on he kills some individuals to grow more powerful as he starts out very weak and they are trying to oppress him. It is by far my favorite novel I have read so far and reccomend it to anyone that loves magic and fantasy.

Don't ask me why I keep trying original novels on Qidian. Even though they all turn out to be awful, sometimes I can't help but try one after reading all of the carefully curated positive reviews. This one is one of the better ones, and by that I mean it's actually somewhat edited with a consistent quality of content. Subpar, but readable if you're specifically craving a chaotic evil kid protagonist running around inflicting immense pain on himself and those around him for the slightest bit of power.

البطل هو اسوأ نموذج لبطل قصة قد تراه في حياتك، البطل شخصيته مشتتة والمؤلف يتعنى إثبات اختلافه. لديه حوارات داخلية قد تجعل الشخص يضحك من تفاهتها وتهافتها، نتحدث عن شخص يجمع متناقضات بشكل مضحك ولا يمت للواقعية بصلة حتى في عالم خيالي يجب أن يكون هناك حدود واقعية لأي شخصية بشرية، قد تكون كتابة المؤلف لهكذا شخصية أقرب لخربشات الأطفال. إن أردنا التطرق للأبعاد الثلاثة لشخصيته فنحن على موعد مع شخصية سطحية ذات بعد واحد، أفعال البطل لا تعكس أفكاره وأفكاره ومشاعره لا تعكس تصرفاته وتصرفاته وردود فعله بجهة وأفكاره بجهة أخرى، هذه ليست كتابة محكمة بل هي هراء تام.

محاولاته في البداية لتبرير شخصية السايكوباثية والمختلة وعدم قدرته على فهم المشاعر مضحكة فهي أسلوب ضعيف وتمهيد ضحل لشخصية مشابهة، وحتى الأسلوب الحواري كان في غاية الركاكة والضحالة وزد عليها بدا الحوار موجهًا للقارئ ولم يكن طبيعي بل لم يقترب من أساليب الحديث الواقعية.

الشخصيات الأخرى هي سطحية ومقولبة وليس هناك ما يميز شخصية عن أخرى، بل أظن حتى القوالب الجاهزة للشخصيات قد تكون بمستوى أعلى وأكثر إتقانًا مما رأيته هنا.

نظام القوة سطحي ومحاولته في تقسيمه لثلاث جوانب تحترم لكنها محاولة بائسة فالمؤلف اكتفى بشرح سطحي وبناء هزيل، يمكن القول أنه نظام للنسيان فلا يكاد يكون مميزًا بل قد يقال أنه نسخة رديئة من بعض الأنظمة في الروايات الصينية.

المؤلف ينسخ الكليشيهات الرديئة وهو لا يحاول حتى إضفاء طابع خاص عليها أو إضافة لمسته بل يكتفي بالنسخ وهو ما يضعف أي إحساس بالابتكار والإبداع.

بناء العالم ضحل وغريب فمثلا يكرر عدة مرات أن مدربه يرتدي ملابس رياضية ثم يقول أنه عالم في العصور الوسطى. كيف جمعهما معًا؟ ولدينا مشاكل أخرى مثل النظام السياسي الذي لم يتم التلميح له حتى فقد اكتفى بقوله أن هناك نبلاء ومناطق، العادات الاجتماعية والثقافية وحتى الأساليب الحوارية تشبه تلك المتواجدة في عالم شهد الحداثة وأضرابها.

لم أتوقع الكثير من السرد في المقام الأول لكن المؤلف يشرح الأمور وكأنك ذاهب لاختبار بدل دمجها في السرد والقصة. هو يرمي لك كل المعلومات في فقرة أو فقرتين ويلقمك المعلومات تلقيمًا مقرفًا يشبه الكتب الدراسية أكثر من الروايات. المؤلف يميل للسرد المباشر البعيد عن الشاعرية لكنه في نفس الوقت ينسى أن يظهر مشاعر الشخصيات بشكل كافي ويظهر ردود فعلهم وهو أمر يستعجب منه المتابع، لماذا قد تكسو نصك وسردك بهذا البرود العجيب.

القصة العامة يبدو أنها تتجه لتكون قصة انتقام من عائلته، لكن المؤلف لحد الآن يتخبط ولا يوجد أي فرضية تحرك القصة بشكل فعلي لكن الرواية نتيجة انفعالات لحظية للبطل.

الحوار طويل وغير واقعي في كثير من الأحيان، وبعض الأحيان هو كرنجي وكليشيهي جدا المؤلف ليس لديه حس الإبداع وبل بعض الحوارات لا فائدة منها، الحوارات لم تكن مصحوبة بأي نوع من المشاعر كما هو سائر النص فكانت باهتة ضعيفة ولم تحز أي منها على إعجابي بل لم تصل في أغلبها لدرجة المحادثة العادية الطبيعية. التصنع الظاهر في الحوار وطبيعته يظهر بشكل جلي دائما في الحوارات الداخلية للشخصيات الثانوية بشكل عام فهي تظهر عبارات غبية لا يمكن أن تمت للواقعية بصلة لا من قريب أو من بعيد بل أغلبها تتجه لمستوى من الضحالة الفكرية لا يمكن أن تكون آدمية.

مشاهد القتال قصيرة وضحلة وتوحي بضعف التحصيل اللغوي وضعف الخيال في القتال، صحيح أن القتال يتطلب سردًا سريعًا مباشرًا يناسب طبيعة أنه حدث حركي لكن المؤلف يميل للسطحية وتسطيح القتال بشكل كبير.

قرأت ما يزيد عن 20 فصل الحبكة لم تتحرك ولو قليلا، المؤلف يبدو أنه يركز على التفاصيل الجانبية وينسى المسار الرئيسي والحبكة الأساسية، هناك الكثير من الحشو والتفاصيل الزائدة على عادة الويب نوفل بشكل عام.

ما يميز الرواية بحق أنها خفيفة في مجملها إيقاعها جيد وهو ما قد يجذب المبتدئ في مجال الروايات والقراءة، فهي لا تحمل ذاك الطابع الثقيل أو البطيء في البناء.

I didn't enjoyed the book as much as other people. Few reason, there was no intimation regarding romance in it. In later half mc almost changed a person. This book was ruined for me mainly due to romantic subplot. And main reason for it was, author writing a character and with such design that it's impossible for a prudent man to even judge that it will suddenly turn in that manner.
If I have to describe then it's like:
Comparing to Reverend insanity is a shame on RI
In later part of the story mc progressively loose his ruthlessness and also start to have a romance for which he his strongly attach to. In case you don't have problem with such a setting which is impossible to happen in reality if you think logically, but who care.

I am up to date on this novel ( it has 2200 chapters almost) the start was rough and many people dropped it because of it but i have read many novels and this is my favorite novel. It is ridiculously long and it took me almost 5 months of constant reading during the lockdown to catch up to this but when Noah reaches the next rank there is nothing more satisfying and the fights are so vivid like you can imagine them happening in your mind i wanted this review to have no spoilers so i did not write anything else but if you ever want to start a new series and have nothing else then give this a try it would be worth it .

I don't care much if the main character has the same moral values as I do, but I got about 50 chapters in before I completely despised him. The shallow attempt at philosophy falls short and while some of the characters are slightly interesting, there is no development of relationships except in how they relate to the main character, who himself is a somewhat intelligent but self-centered psychopath who cares only slightly for his mother and teacher and endlessly pursues power while killing everyone (innocent or otherwise) who lays in his path.

I started reading this novel from wattpad but I couldn't find it so I came here,
I can't seem to open it, I've clicked on everything, yet I still can't open the novel to read.
Do I have to do something else before I can read the novel on my phone?

This story was one of the best of it's genre. It's very compelling. Though, about half way through it he decided to junk it by making the ruthless and dominating MC become a simp for some hoe part of his cultivation journey. Such an expedient way to trash an amazing story.
