Building an online course business
This book is part of the “Expertise” series by Alina Vincent. The series focuses on how entrepreneurial consultant can turn their expertise into online courses. By focusing exclusively on one area and developing levels of service, the consultant can leverage their services to attract the ideal client who shares that same passion but who needs to know more about it. Because the course is online, it is scalable to a worldwide audience. Additionally the courses are designed to be available to a wide audience so the entrepreneur doesn’t have to focus on one-on-one sales, but instead focuses on delivering one quality product. This combination allows the consultant to enhance their earnings power while expending less energy to increase earnings. This book offers personal accounts of many consultants who explain a little how they have used this strategy to build very successful business. Most of them, but not all, have used the advice and services Alina Vincent offers to make it happen.
This book isn’t the best in the series. Monetize Your Expertise was much better — more informative with actionable advice. This book is fine starter if you have read none of this series. But I suspect Monetize is the better if someone is just wants a better overview and may not want to read all the books in the series. I am currently reading another of Vincent’s books, Leverage Your Expertise, and find that more rewarding than Teach Your Experience. Sure, some ideas in this book (Teach Your Expertise) are inspiring. But there are meaningful testimonies in Monetizing also, so this one seems repetitive.

If you have ever thought about sharing your expertise by teaching an online course, you should take a look at this book. The author provides case studies of clients who have done exactly that and have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.
I believe many people are deterred by lack of confidence. Vincent advises her readers to carefully examine their past experiences. Each of us have many accomplishments that can be garnered together and gathered to put together a program that will help others to succeed. When we underestimate our own potential we sabotage our ability to create a resource to help others succeed.
There is a wealth of information in this book as well as a carefully laid out pathway too help the reader maximize his potential for success as an independent entrepreneur.

Good instruction, but if this topic interests you at all, you should take her course, or at least one of her free challenges. She is an amazing teacher.
