Ok so far this is the best one by far of the novella spinoff adventures of Carlyle and her harem! This one was action packed, made me feel nostalgic for the original series. We finally are getting some answers, some things are coming together or at least we have a line of sight of some. I think I can guess some of the twists but some of them I am so lost on haha, I can't wait for the reveals! Loved getting some time with our lion shifter and his family, loved the darkness and mystery from the jaguars and am interested to see what happens with the moonstone with the other stones the group has. The sexy scenes were fabulous in this one and I liked the darkness creature some of the guys do battle with, made for an exciting story!
Narration was fabulous as always, these 2 narrators do such a phenomenal job that I never have any critiques or feedback for them. I am amazed by all the accents the male narrator does and does so flawlessly with the different guys and their personalities and their dialects/accents. The female narrator has had to tap into some darker feelings and not so bubbly performances in these spinoffs, compared to the original series, which is also impressive. It's like no time has passed from the original series and the characters are really on these new adventures.
Already listening to book 4, trying to meet my end of year reading goal 🤣🤣🤣

The stories are short but they are even sweeter to read. They are packed with action, drama, suspense, mystery, and some hot sexy scenes. The story draws you in and doesn’t let go. My only disappointment is that they end so quickly and we have to wait for the next. While I know Ms. Laurel Chase writes them as quickly as possible I am always impatient for the next. It is extremely well written and of course the characters are magnificent and beautiful. There are new characters introduced to the mix with new mysteries added in. They were impressive and I can’t wait to see where the story is heading. This was definitely a fantastic read and it doesn’t disappoint.

By now everyone knows how much I love this series. I was overjoyed when I found out Laurel was writing this mini series and it just keeps on getting better! Sol isn't even one of my favourite guys but he growled his way up in this book! Damn, hes a smoking hot lion! Please read this series in order! It is not a stand alone and you truly won't regret just reading from the beginning! I look forward to the next one! ❤❤❤

Magically hot
This novella was action packed, with all the good stuff. Our Qilin is so amazing, but so are her men. I love seeing them together, all at once or in small groups o ups. There's so much to do and I'm so excited for these novellas to continue. This one was all about that Lion love, so now I'm wondering who's next. Please let it be my Dragon or Mer!

This series just gets better and better. I can't wait for the next one and to actually find out what's wrong with Carlyle.

I love these Sugar bites. This one was the best yet. Trying to solve the mystery and figure out what is happening to Carlyle is getting really interesting. The cliffhanger ending was the only thing wrong with this story

Love it as Always
The novellas are a bit difficult to read because obvi they’re shorter but love it as always. One thing I will mention is I feel like there isn’t as much going into conveying the relationship feels but again, novella so maybe that’s it?

I love how this story just picks up and continues where the main series left off. These characters that we have grown to love never disappoint. I cant wait for more of this series to come out!

I was so lost and couldn’t keep the characters straight. I didn’t read the first two but thought the author would give a small recap- nope. It’s a short read and I may go read the first two.

Dnf d for a long time
Honestly didnt think i was going to finish this series because i felt like it ruined the first and hated that kids were practically being forced on her. But idk, i guess something reminded me of it and now im back in it

I love these short reads about Carlyle and her men and their after the "happy ever after" this one introduces us to the secretive Jaguar shifters and a new mystery. As always fast paced and fun!

There has to be more books in this series! This series is great. I highly recommend you read this series.
