The Lines of Laredo

Rate this book
What had seemed like just the latest border war with New England’s neighbours in the South West has broadened into a continental conflict with implications far beyond the cloistered enclave of the First Thirteen colonies. As the machinations of great men play out in the British Isles, New England, Mexico City and back in Europe, the Fielding brothers, Melody Danson, George Washington and the Governor of New England find themselves moving through a world so changed in recent times that sometimes, they hardly recognise their own country any more. Unsurprisingly, things are about to get more than a little uncomfortable for practically all our heroes… _____ Mindful of avoiding spoilers – watch this space until IMPERIAL CRISIS has been out a few weeks!

Poorly edited

Interesting story but very poorly edited. Many run on sentences, improper pronoun usage, wrong words, and more which leads to distracted reading.
