By the absence of a cover in the attached thumbnail at time of writing, I guess that someone else noticed that the original cover was totally stolen from a Tamryn Tamer book.
Anyway, the first book left the MC with the potential to adopt a "third way" of sorts and not be a total douchebag. Alas, that doesn't happen, and whatever freshness the first book had, this one failed to deliver for me.

Wow!!! What an awesome,entertaining and engaging story!! Great adult fantasy and really cool world building!! If you haven't read this series you are missing out!!!

Just finished this book and it was pretty good, shorter than the first. Can’t wait to read book 3.
