I am adding my review for this as I read a new version where Westforde College books 1 and 2 have been merged to make a new title Wicked Protector. I read it as an ARC because this is a genre that I like to read. I hadn't read any Serena Lyons books before but the blurb interested me. It is a fairly fast-paced story that drops surprise little bombs throughout. Just when you think you have a handle on what is going on you get another twist. All in all, I quite enjoyed this story and would read more of Serena's work.
If you like the bully romance in a college setting this meets those criteria. You also get a bit on an anti-hero in Callum and Faith is a bit of an avenger while strong she isn't as well prepared as she thinks she is. This book has some suspense, plenty of drama, and a touch of spice to round it out.

Faith has just arrived at Westforde College, Oxford University and while she is more than smart enough to be there her education is not why she has chosen Westforde. Faith is out to make sure that the person who killed her best friend finally pays for it. Look out Callum Carter-Wright because he will pay for what happened two years ago.
Callum can't deny the new freshman girl is someone he wants and he gets what he wants, but when she rejects him and it leaves him all kinds of pissed off and confused he sets out to make things difficult for her. The problem is it hasn't stopped him from wanting her any less.
No matter what Faith tells herself she is pulled towards Callum which makes her feel both stupid and guilty. Since no one believed her two years ago though she has to push all that aside and make sure he suffers.
Faith continues to claim Callum's guilt and he continues to deny it. As things stop making sense they finally start seeing that maybe there is more to Millie's story than they knew. With some help to see beyond her pain Faith can admit things might not be as they first seemed and together they may work out what really happened.
The only problem is someone doesn't want them figuring it out and that puts them in danger, Faith in particular. Can she figure it out before it's too late and save herself.

Oh boy…Wicked Heartbreaker is a wild ride from start to finish. Doozy of a cliffhanger. Wicked Heartbreaker is book 1 of a duet. The next book Brutal Protector where the author says will conclude Callum and Faith’s story. Wicked Heartbreaker has lots of twist, turns, and things that went sideways. There are a lot of feels with Wicked Heartbreaker. Serena Lyons, author, did a fantastic job with great characters, world building, and keeping readers guessing and engrossed from beginning to the end. The sex scenes are boiling hot with lots of steam. Wicked Heartbreaker seriously has all the elements that make a very outstanding 5⭐️ read. This is the first book I read from Serena Lyons and it will not be the last. Highly recommended. Enjoy reading Wicked Heartbreaker.

Faith has waited along time to get revenge shes done everything to change her appearance and now she's ready to take Callum down somebody died now somebody is going to pay. Callum has it all but hes also has dark secrets sometimes a dark king needs his queen how dark will Faith's vengeance take her and will she do everything she's planed is Callum the real threat or just a stepping stone to and even more sinister danger. This book is a great start to the series the chemistry is hot between Callum and Faith and all the sinister twists that have been added. The only reason for a 4 star review was that there was some editing issues.

I liked this a lot! It had a really good plot and back story, I liked the pull and push of the main characters and how at times I just wanted to bang their heads together, if they would only communicate better with each other. My only criticism is that I felt Faith was a little obsessed with her quest at times, and considering how clever she is supposed to be this didn't sit right with her character.....this said I still loved her!
The ending was nail biting, can't believe the cliff hanger, so excited for the next book!

Wicked Heartbreaker is a nail-biting dark college bull romance. This story revolves around Faith and Callum. Faith is the new girl at school and Callum is the resident hot bully.
The chemistry between Faith and Callum is scorching hot! Faith and Callum attempt to fight the attraction, but no matter how hard they try both are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame.
Lots of drama, danger, and suspense makes is a book a fascinating read. Would totally recommend, although beware that there is a cliffhanger which leaves you looking forward to the next book.

This book was epic! I couldn't put my kindle down for a second! This is the first book I've read by author Serena Lyons but she knocked it out of the park with this one! This book told the story of Callum Carter-Wright and Faith Davies. This book was original, super hot and steamy, had mystery and suspense. Kudos to Lyons on a well-crafted masterpiece! Can't wait to read the next book of this story. This book is a must read and I highly recommend!

I liked the blurb for this book. It wasnt bad when it started but I got bored quickly. It just moved pretty slow. I skipped parts & while the very end was good & started to pick up, idk it just fell short for me. I will ve reading book 2 but only because I wanna know how this ends. I think this had so much potential.

A well written story. It was easy to become immersed into this story because the characters were fascinating. The storyline had me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Story line is great and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
