Incredible story of unimaginable courage, love, and loss
First off Robert thanks for your service, exceptional service. Your time in Iraqi sounds so unreal, more like a movie. It’s hard to imagine anyone doing what you did, and survived.
Then there’s you and Allison. Your love for each other was palpable. You two were special. It saddens me to the core of her passing, of you two not seeing each other again. It’s like you waited for months to get to the finish line only to find out your prize is not there.
I hope one day you can feel, entirely home. All the best.

Heart Wrenching
I was so touched by this story. Being former military I appreciated the accuracy in the terms & scenarios he wrote about in detail. It kept me on the edge of my seat. It was also a good mixture of happy & sad.
