I received an Arc from the author as a gift from joining her newsletter, which I think was from entering a contest. Because I did not read previous books in the series, I was missing context, setting and character descriptions. As much as I could figure out, Dr Patrick is a chiropractor, following in his father's footsteps. He had fallen in love with a woman, Grace, but was too shy to carry through, so his roommate went after her instead. The practice is either on an Army base or works with a lot of veterans and soldiers and is having financial difficulties. He literally runs into a woman and feels like it is love at first sight, but she is a widow and is still mourning her husband. For me, the book lacked depth, but would probably succeed as a graphic novel. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Falling Belle is a follow up story to Falling Grace. In Falling Grace, Dr. Patrick loses Grace, the woman who he is too shy to ask out, to his roommate Maverick. In Falling Belle, Patrick meets and falls hard for Annabelle Hampton. We briefly met Annabelle in the book Snake: M.E.D.I.C.S. Matthis from the M.E.D.I.C.S series is also in this story, having a connection to Annabelle. Although these stories have crossing characters, you don't need to have read them first to understand the story.

Annabelle has lost her husband to an ambush two years prior. The two wounded characters are able to provide a love and understanding to each other. Patrick is truly a caring man who treats Annabelle with the utmost respect and reverence. They both give each other the space to come into the relationship free to love again.

This quick read is a sweet romance. It does not end on a cliffhanger but with a happily ever after. I am glad that Patrick finally was able to get beyond his hesitation to go after the woman he wants to realize that Grace wasn't the one. Together Patrick and Annabelle are a strong couple, providing strength where the other needs it.

What do you do when love has left is scars? Is there a way to find peace to let yourself love again?

Both Patrick and Annabelle are dealing with different scars as they bump into each other. That chance meeting turns into more as they work to deal with their own demons and open their heart to the new possibility before them.

This story is moving on so many levels. Feeling the pain Patrick carries, his level of compassion for the other soldiers and Annabelle. I think Pandora did a wonderful job presenting realistic characters dealing with honest issues.

This story continues after "Falling Grace." I have not read the first story and think there is enough background provided in this story that you can start right here if you want. For fans of the M.E.D.I.C.S series, we get to see some characters again in this story.

Overall a great inspiring love story!

I have been looking forward to this book. Glad that Dr. Patrick found his forever love after his heartbreak due to Grace dating Maverick. Patrick deserved to find someone loving and caring which he does with Annabelle. The plot twist is that she is the widow of the solider that the M.E.D.I.C.S. Team lost in Iraq that they each still think about. I love how Matthis and Annabelle meet for the first time and it brings them both comfort, this was the closure they both needed. I didnt make the connection when Annabelle was mentioned in Snake’s book. I love the story of Annabelle and Patrick. True love comes once and prevails every time despite obstacles. Happy they were able to heal each other’s past wounds.

This is the companion book to Falling Grace. While you can read this book without reading Falling Grace you will miss Patrick's backstory which explains why he’s hurting. If you’ve read Snake’s story, book 6 in the M.E.D.I.C.S series you’ve got a small introduction to Annabelle. This is a fast paced Instalove story. It’s a short read but it’s entertaining, low drama and well written.

Patrick and Annabelle are both dealing with broken hearts. Patrick lost the woman he thought he lived. Grace fell for his roommate. Annabelle is still grieving the loss of her husband in Iraq. They start off slow with friendship which soon morphs into something more. Can they each help the other to heal.

Falling Belle is a successor to Falling Grace where in Doctor Patrick loses his love grace to his roommate Maverick because he was too shy to ask her out.In Falling Belle Patrick meets Annabelle Hampton, whom he falls for very quickly.

Annabelle Hampton lost her husband 2 years ago and is struggling to cope with that loss. The story continues that 2 wounded souls find each other Patrick is gentle patient and caring towards Annabelle and he treats her with respect,
leaving her in peace. be able to grow towards each other and work together towards a relationship and to love each other.
