Dark Falcons #3
Patriot
A biker in trouble. A woman who doesn’t run from it.
Logan, aka Patriot, earned his nickname by fighting for the underdog. Only this time he’s the one being crushed under the weight of injustice when his club comes under fire with the law. While he and his brothers fight to find the true criminal, a certain quiet brunette keeps popping up everywhere he goes, and now she’s installed herself in his safe haven, the club.
Patriot’s thrown into Aarica’s path so many times that surely Fate has a sense of humor—or a plan. Right now, it seems like Patriot’s only plan is to get her away from him, though he sure kisses like he wants her in his bed, on the clubhouse floor and definitely on the back of his Harley. With his behavior giving her whiplash—and all their signals crossed—how’s a girl supposed to know whether to stay or go?
One thing the mesmerizing woman doesn’t know yet is that Patriot doesn’t give up easy. As if he’d let her go…

Patriot is book three in the Dark Falcons MC series. Patriot heads to the mountains to get away from his lurking troubles and clear his head and try to figure out who could possibly be framing him. Someone is stealing from customers that his construction business has just finished up the job for, somehow coming in behind them stealing, and setting Patriot up as a thief, tarnishing his good name and trying to destroy his business. While Patriot is in the mountains he meets the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen and is immediately drawn to her but he is certain she is too young for him and he is definitely not good enough for her plus he couldn’t allow her to get involved with him while everything in his life is in turmoil. From the moment Patriot and Aarica meet their chemistry is off the charts, all the while Patriot fights this crazy wild hot chemistry but it seems as if every “corner” he turns or goes around guess whose there? I enjoy how the series carries forward characters and continues with interactions and the feeling of closeness almost family like togetherness plus how well all the characters are wonderfully portrayed and lifelike that you grow very fond of them. The story has plenty of drama, suspense, betrayal, anger, loyalty, romance and love. It pulled me in and I couldn't put it down. Can't wait for the next book Diesel’s Story. Definitely recommend this story/series. This author is rapidly becoming one of my favorites. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

Logan "Patriot" Stone is the 30 year old owner of a construction company as well as a member of the Dark Falcon Motorcycle Club, in charge of their security detail. He is big and intimidating, with a chiseled body from years of hard labor and strong hands.
Aarica Byrne is a curvaceous 23 year old who is striking out on her own for the first time after being raised on a farm, surrounded by 5 suffocating cousins who would not allow her to do anything. While camping with friends, Aarica meets Patriot and is instantly intrigued by him. The feeling is mutual. Something about this woman calls to Patriot's most primal instincts. He wants to consume her and make her his own. Their age difference, her sexual inexperience, and a little problem currently brewing with the law force Patriot to doubt making Aarica his. Fate has a funny way of intruding on their lives though as they continually find themselves in each other's paths. Can he resist temptation or will fate take them down a path of love and passion?
"Patriot" is book 3 in the Dark Falcons series. Each book is standalone but you will have a more rich reader experience if you read the books in the series in order. The characters are well developed, interesting and likeable. The plot was enjoyable. Overall, well worth your time and money to read.

While he can’t help but want her, is his life just too messy for love?
Patriot is the third book in the Dark Falcons series that could be read as a stand alone. Patriot is in trouble with his business, which is now spilling over into his MC. Taking a weekend off to clear his head, he meets Aarica, and there’s an instant connection. When she start popping up all over the place, he can’t help but want her in his life, but will his trouble land him in jail, or worse?
This was a great addition to the series! I loved the connection that develops between Patriot and Aarica, how he tended to push her away, but she was too stubborn to let go of something special. There’s a lot of build up tension between the two of them, but there’s some really soft moments and I loved their time spent together. Patriot knows loyalty, the realities of life, and thinks he’s too messed up when it comes to pursuing a relationship with Aarica. But I loved that his hot and cold demeanor never turned her away for good. Aarica is sweet and a fighter, kind and yet stubborn, and I thought she was so good for Patriot. They had some demons to fight, but they made a great team. I loved that Ms. Petrova added in elements of autism to this book, and loved seeing how the MC rallied around their own members. I enjoyed reading this book and am already looking forward to the next book in the series, thanks to a quick preview during the epilogue!

‘Patriot’ is the third book in the Dark Falcons series from Em Petrova, and again she has given us a great story. You can enjoy this as a stand-alone, but why miss out? After you finish it, go back and read ‘Dixon’ and ‘Tank’ too if you haven’t already.
Patriot is the kind of guy who always does the right thing and who looks out for others. Through no fault of his own, he is now involved in scandal and turmoil. Of course, the universe chooses the worst time to bring a special woman into his life … or is it really the best time? To further compound his frustration, he thinks Aarica is too young for him. Aarica is smart, hard-working, and determined to forge her path in the world. She truly wants Patriot to be part of that, but somehow she has to get him to see that it can work.
Fortunately for both Patriot and Aarica, when love is right it won’t be ignored. I like the different ways the 2 lead characters repeatedly found themselves around one another purely by chance. The ending is very satisfying although, as with most books by this author, you don’t really want to see it come to an end.

I enjoyed Patriot. I think it is my favorite of the series. This was a really quick, enjoyable read.
I'm not sure what it was about Patriot "Logan" and Aarica. They did the whole Insta attraction thing which often comes across to me as sappy, but this felt more genuine. Neither one sought the other out, but their paths kept crossing, their fates intertwining. The romance, the sexual tension, was all there even with the book being as short as it was. Or maybe it seemed short to me.
I liked that Patriot was willing to come to Aarica's defense without taking any acknowledgment for it. The setup of the situation with Logan's company and the way it played out was interesting. I really didn't expect Logan to be that trusting or unaware. I liked that Aarica was willing to work and discovered her true passion during the process. Also, I really appreciated her "Fiona" move. Aarica was strong, intelligent, passionate, as well as independent, but not to the point of being irritating.
This book gives romance, sexual tension, love, loyalty, family, and friendship. Then you get Logan and Aarica's HEA. 4.5 stars.

Patriot is a good man that works hard at his construction company and loves his motorcycle club. He isn't looking for love but it finds him anyway. Aarica is a young woman starting a new life in a new town. She is hard working, smart and determined. She isn't looking for love either but when she finds in with Patriot, she runs toward it ready to embrace it.
I really liked how Patriot was a truly good guy. There is no grey space in this story. When he gets accused of theft, it is obvious to the reader that he didn't do it. The author shows a little bit of how a small town reacts to rumors that Patriot is a thief but it's not critical to the story so it's just a small glimpse. I liked how Aarica came to town not quite sure about her long term plan but she was willing to work any and all small jobs to position herself for success. I liked that she wasn't some delicate flower. Patriot and Aarica were good together and made sense together.
This is a fast read. There isn't anything scary or particularly challenging to read. I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice love story between two adults with no real baggage.

Patriot is the third book Em Petrova’s Dark Falcons series from and as with the first two stories, this one has elements of danger, deception and a sizzling romance too. Logan “Patriot” Stone is the hard-working owner of a construction company with a sound reputation for fair and quality work, and Patriot prides himself on his thorough background checks of all his workers and knows that his men are innocent of the allegations being tossed their way. So, when his business suddenly falls under the scrutiny of the law, Logan is determined to keep the MC separate from his problems with the law.
But when things start bringing heat and focus on the MC too, Patriot needs room to breathe and clear his head. The mountains have always been his safe place when things get tough, but a chance meeting with a young and very innocent woman, make this trip one that haunts his every waking thought. So, when the object of his less than G-Rated dreams constantly crosses his path once he returns home, Patriot must deal with not only the threat to his freedom, but the one to his heart.
Ms Petrova has penned a fabulous story of a man with a strong moral compass and his struggle with doing what he believes is right and the undeniable connection he has with a sweet, but strong and determined woman. Logan and Aarica are wonderful characters and while Aarica is portrayed initially as sweet and innocent, she has backbone and strength that aid in defending and supporting her man. Naturally the members of the MC are front and centre in their support of a brother, and the full cast play an important role in this exciting story. This is undoubtedly an addictive series and one I’m loving more and more with each new tale.

Logan (AKA Patriot) is owner of a construction company in small Smokey Mountain town in Tennessee. He belongs to the Dark Falcons M/C and was on a lone three-day camping trip thinking about what was going on with his clients accusing someone from his crew of stealing...while on the trip, he ran into friends and went to their campsite for drink, meeting Aarica...she's young, innocent and totally out of his league. He walks her back to her camp site and things get a little heated, but he backs off...he doesn't need a "too young for him" woman to complicate his already complicated life. In town, at a job site, her sees Aarica with a young, disabled boy... then she's the new bartender at his favorite bar, the Painted Pig... then mowing a yard for cash in cut-offs and tank top...maybe it's fate that throws them together all the time....but you will need to read the story to see what happens when fate steps in...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It's time to swoon for Patriot!
I'm loving all these Dark Falcon heroes, but Patriot really stands out as a god among men. He has a successful construction business that is currently under investigation, yet through it all he maintains his - and his company's - integrity.
The sparks are really flying when he meets Aarica. Their instant connection fueled the entire story and I absolutely loved every electrifying second of it. Aarica may be a bit younger than Logan, but she's got all the fierce determination and loyalty a man could ask for. She's got the perfect background for his current lifestyle, and I loved her even more for her patience and dedication in helping autistic children.
You can count on a satisfying HEA that sees justice well-served and a bit of a hint for the next book in the series. I highly recommend these books, and everything by this author. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Two Lonely Souls looking for a connection
I liked Patriot. He was everything I want in a hero of the story. While he is a little gruff and alpha, he is sweet and caring at his core. He is having a hard time of things, his name and company are being put through the wringer, and then meeting someone who piques your interest he can't help but feel this is bad timing.
Aarica is a great character. She is kind, happy, and cares deeply for others. I loved that even though she came from a tight family, she wants to spread her wings and find her own path. Luckily for her, her path keeps throwing her towards Patriot.
I loved that even though things looked grim for Patriot, Aarica always trusted him. She knew right from the beginning that he was a standup guy even if others were starting to question.
I also liked that the club stood behind him. There wasn't one person who thought he did what was being accused.

This is the third installment in the Dark Falcons MC and has betrayal, doubt, deceit, romance and so much more. Patriot is Sargent of Arms for the Dark Falcons. He owns Stone's Construction and gets jobs by word of mouth. He prides himself on picking his crew and if they don't do an excellent job he gets rid of them. His reputation and honor is being questioned because a client accused them of stealing money and jewelry while doing a job.
Aarica left the family farm to take a job in Mersey. She is working with a boy with autism and loves it. She also gets a job at the Painted Pig which Fiona owns. She is young, innocent, independent and hard working. She also stands up for people she believes in and cares for.
This was well written, has an interesting storyline and the characters are fantastic. I couldn't put this down, it grabbed my attention from the very first page to the last.

Logan/Patriot is down on his luck when his construction company has been accused of stealing on one of their jobs so he heads to the mountains to camp for a few days where through friends he meets a single young woman camping named Aarica. He is strongly attracted to her but she is much too young for him and the last thing he needs now is to drag someone into his problems. Aarica has a job sitting with a young boy who has autisum but she can not forget the older hunk she met while camping and never expected to see him again until his company if roofing next door. They continue to run into each other and it is getting harder for him to resist her each time so when he gets arrested it is Aarica that steps up to be by his side and also shedding some time on who may be the guilty party in all the thefts. Loved this steamy story and Patriot and Aarica are perfect for each other. Thanks Em for another intriguing book.

Patriot is being set up for a number of thefts that have happened around town, some where his construction company has been doing repairs or renovation work. He heads out of town to clear his head, and meets Aarica at a campsite. She's far too young and innocent to be with the likes of him. He can't stop thinking about her, and keeps running into her in Mersey. She can't stop thinking about him either, and she's not at all shy about letting him know what she wants. This is the third book in the series, and a terrific addition. Patriot is completely swoon-worthy, staying away from Aarica because he's not good enough for her, and because of his legal issues. Aarica is young and sweet, but she's also smart and devoted her dream of working with autistic children. And she's definitely a "stand by your man" kinda girl.

As with the other books, Patriot is a good guy and the MC is a group of friends that hang out and take care of their community. This is a standalone book and there is no reason to read the other books other than to get to know the other characters. Aarica is a good girl, a bit naïve and innocent moving from the farm to town. They meet through friends (I'm still not clear as to why Aarica was there) and then keep bumping into each other. There is some insta-love going on and Patriot keeps telling himself that he is too old (not really) and not good enough for her. We get to know Aarica better than Patriot and her upbringing comes through in her tough as nails attitude and her compassion for people. We don't know Patriots backstory but he is generally a good hard working guy. There is little bit of steam and a little bit of action in this quick, short read.

This is the 3rd book in this series, but you do not have to have read the first two before thoroughly enjoying this one, but after reading it, you probably will want to go back and read them, just because you will enjoy this one so much. Patriot, who is a member of the MC club, Dark Falcons, that does good things for the community, is a big, rough, biker, that is also sweet, kind, honest, and loyal. Aarica, is a young, sweet, innocent, straight off the farm, woman, that is also, feisty, strong, and loyal. I like when the heroine is a strong female. The sparks fly when they meet, and their chemistry explodes, but there is a story left to unfold, one that will keep you reading, and make it hard to put down. I love this series, and this book. With that, I highly recommend both.

Book 3 in the Dark Falcons series. Patriot owns a construction company and is also a member of the Dark Falcons. Aarica is starting out on her own after being raised on a farm with her overbearing cousins she final feels free when she goes on a camping trip. This is where Patriot and Aarica first meet there is instant attraction between the two but Patriot sees her as a young innocent that he doubts she would want anything to do with a guy like him. Fate has other ideas as they constantly cross paths but there is somethings a miss when evidence stars staking up against Patriot for crimes he didnt commit. will there attraction get the chance to blossom before its too late? well written with steamy chemistry sizzling characters a good story plot that keeps you engaged all the way.

Another fast moving and steamy read from Em Petrova in book 3 of the Dark Falcons.
Something is not right, thefts are happening and Patriot, his construction crew and the Dark Falcons are being blamed.
Patriot escapes to camp in the mountains to think thru his troubles. He meets Aarica a beatiful younh and innocent woman while camping. There is strong and instant attraction for both.
Continued chance meeting keep happening between these two. Patriot thinks Aarica is too young and innocent and doest deserved to get caught up in his troubles so he tries to distance from her.
But she is stronger than she looks. This is a story about love and support from friends and loved ones. Throw some drama and mystery and a mc club and you have a good story!

This is the 3rd book in the Dark Falcons Series, it can be read as a standalone with no cliffhangers.
It's a non-violent MC book, they are a MC that does good works in their community. So when Patriot's construction business gets accused of stealing it's very unexpected. Patriot has to find the real criminal, clear his name and keep his hands off the young and innocent woman that keeps popping up in his life.
Aarica has been over protected her whole life growing up with her older male cousins. This is her chance to make it on her own and find out who she truly wants to be in life. If only she could get the hot biker Patriot to understand that she's not a baby, she knows what she wants from him.
Well written, I will be reading more of her books.

This is the latest story by Em Petrova. I love this series. I didn't want this story to end. I enjoyed the interactions between Patriot and Aarica. Patriot meets Aarica when he went camping one weekend. He is enthralled by her but he has some trouble in his life. His business has been accused of taking items for a renovation. This also leads to possible trouble for his MC club. Aarica has moved to the area after being on her family farm. She has a job working as a nanny but needs an additional job. They keep running into each other. Will they be able to work through their differences to see that they were made for each other?

This is intense, entertaining and romantic. After learning about the theft charges being levied against him, Patriot goes up into the mountains to think, and meets Aarica. They have a steamy encounter when he walks her to her tent, then she disappears. Then, she ends up being at his job, then the bar the MC hangs out in and then down the street from his job. He doesn't believe in coincidences, but she's so innocent that he fights every instinct, until he can't fight it any more. He tries to shield her from the ugliness of his being set up, but she believes in his innocence so he stops pushing her away. Patriot is an honorable and stubborn guy, Aarica is a determined and sweet woman. I have enjoyed this series very much

Patriot runs a construction company, and as things start to come up missing at job sites, he is the connecting factor. As the Sargent of Arms of the Dark Falcons MC, others in the club have his back as they make their appearances in the story. When he meets up again with Aarica and helps her out, sparks still fly btn them. She may be an innocent, but she shows she is a spitfire after she starts working at the Painted Pig Bar Fiona owns. Between trying to find who is setting him up for the thefts, and the sexy Aarica, he has his hands full. Patriot and Aarica's story has all the elements readers of the genre look for in an MC romance. **I was gifted "Patriot" via Booksprout and leave my review voluntarily based on my reading.** 4.5 Stars!

Oh my!! Patriot (Logan) is so absolutely perfect in every way. He is a little rough around the edges but he is so kind and generous underneath that rough exterior! And Aarica was exactly the perfect woman for him. She is such a happy, bubbly individual and with her, everything is right up front and out in the open for everyone to see and enjoy along with her. She is also fiercely loyal and brave and will stand by her friends no matter what. Which is just what Patriot needs in his life right now and in the future. Their love story is vivid and inspiring and wonderfully written!! Such a great series that everyone should read!

New to the city, Aarica Byrnes met friends while camping, including Logan Strong/Patriot over a beer. Patriot was camping to figure out how to get his company and his MC brothers from under the scrutiny of the law and who was setting him up. One look at Aarica and all Patriot could think is a 23year old virgin is too young and innocent for a 30year old man like him.
Aarica’s first day on her new job caring for an autistic child, Patriot’s at the house working a construction job and at her new gig at the bar, there he is again. The pair keeps running into each other which makes them both wonder why. Overhearing the deputy question Patriot about thefts, she’s certain he’s innocent and is determined to help prove it.

This is the story of Patriot, following a few previous stories about the founding of their MC and their troubles. He, just as the other leading characters in the previous stories, has his life upended in one way or the other, he finds his love, he fights for it and at the end of the day there is the always popular HEA. This series of MC brothers is just so good. The storyline is so good and the characters are well thought out and written about. Overall it was just quite enjoyable to read this story and I enjoyed it very much. So fine four stars for this story are very well deserved.

Patriot/Logan, Sergeant at Arms for the Dark Falcon MC, is at loose ends. He and his crew are accused of thefts they didn’t commit. Someone is setting him up for a big fall. Aarica has left the farm and her five possessive cousins to check out the world. After they have met, they keep running into each other. Must be karma. Nicely written about two restless, looking for more out of life. This particular book has a little bit of focus on autism of which the MC supports. Not a cliffhanger, but a set up for the next book in this series.

Short but it has teeth and it will bite! I love this series! Patriot is working through some things that have happened and Aarica is just where she needs to be! Right in his path. They each have issues that need resolving but maybe the resolve they both need nor expect may be within each grasp. It is entertaining and gripping. Yes it is short but it tells a whole story with not so many words. The words written are there for a reason and I love Ems ability to set the reader up for that one moment when it seems everything is coming together but yet not. Great addition to the series.
