Olivia Glass always finding the body and always being a prime suspect is getting tiresome. But the worst part of this 4th volume in the Tuscan Murders series is how Olivia deliberately disobeys direct police orders and inserts herself where she had been forbidden to go. There had to be another way to resolve the story. This tactic makes Olivia seem egotistical, defiant, and the “Ugly American” who defies local authorities because she is sooo much smarter than them. A thesaurus with synonyms for “incredulous” might also be welcome!
I really want to love this series - wine, tuscany, cute goat, etc but audiobook narrator and heroine are a bit silly. I keep slogging on through series hoping for the best.
Olivia tells Danilo how she feels about him, then is shocked when he does not respond the way she expected or hoped. She does not have time to mope, however, as the winery prepares for the wedding of a New Jersey couple and their 100 guests, all with typical Jersey attitude.
The rehearsal dinner starts off well but all hell breaks loose when the bride catches the groom kissing her sister and she calls off the wedding. Later Olivia finds the groom dead in his car with her favourite corkscrew in his neck!
As she and Danilo straighten out their differences once the guilty party confesses, he shows her that he found the key to the mysterious, locked storage shed on her property. It was hidden under the last little bit of rubble in the old winery barn.
Olivia is helping the winery with hosting their first wedding with the wedding party and many guests coming to Tuscany from the states. The list of requests from the bride is enormous and some of the items a bit outrageous, but the team is doing their best to meet every ask. Amongst it all, Olivia and Danilo’s romance takes an unexpected turn that has Olivia (and us) confused. When a body is found, it is no surprise that Olivia is caught up in the drama. What else can she do but try to solve the murder? Like all good cozy mysteries, Olivio finds resolution with the solution and the truth behind Danilo’s seeming disinterest. Love all the books in this series. I've been burning through them.
Who would have thought hosting a wedding could be such chaos, or rather, a disaster? Having a bridezilla or a demanding mother of the bride is one thing. But this! It is shocking and funny to read about. This is another fascinating adventure in this great series! Every book is a wondeful surprise! I received a copy and chose to review it.
Olivia and the winery experience a New Jersey bridezilla and wedding party. Obnoxious people who make a mess and then try to pin a murder on Olivia. The winery staff members are challenged to offer destination weddings, rehearsals and receptions and if this one is what to expect they might not grow the business in that manner. Erba helps Olivia investigate and Pirate has a gender reveal.

BOY OH BOY!! What a great story. I am happy to see this young ma and woman find each other! They have been playing on n each other for some time now. This is a most amazing story!
Terrible title since there was thankfully nothing impure going on in the protagonist’s life. I’m enjoying this series the most of the various series by Fiona Davis. Audio.
