Genre: Action Thriller
This is one such book that keeps you engaged until the very end. A very amazingly written action thriller that keeps your adrenaline levels high till the end.
‘How’s the Josh? High Sirrrr!’
The book talks about the Mission ‘Operation Hellfire’ which focuses on stopping the terrorists from entering India. After the success of Operation Foxhunt, Sanjay Khanna is appointed as the chief of this operation.
Now the question stands, will he be able to make this mission a success?
Will he be able to stop the terrorists to enter India?
What is his next move going to be?
Who will have to risk their lives to safeguard Mother India?
It is around 120 pages and the author has tried to complete the whole scenario within these numbers only. It is a fast-paced story and there are a number of characters so you need to be very concentrated while reading, otherwise you lose the zest of the story.
The description of the battlefield is just horrific and so real, the author has tried to put into words one of the most difficult situations and he has done a great job.
I would definitely suggest this book to everyone who likes to read thriller novels and about wars and battles. A very engaging and interesting read!

Operation hellfire
It was an okay read for me. This was a different book from the usual books I am reading nowadays and the change of genre was interesting. The narration was okay but confusing at some points and the author has described every detail in way more detail! This is a thriller book in which basically some terrorists are trying to infiltrate India and harm our country and Sanjay who is kinda the main protagonist of the book is trying to prevent that attack. Will he be able to do that when his enemies are top trained in combat and are focused on bringing India to its knees?
There were so many characters in the book that it was very difficult to keep up. The characterization was very poor and it was so difficult to keep track of who was who and what was one's role! Also, I didn't like the cover very much. It's not eye-catching. They could have done better. The plot was interesting but I feel like that author didn't do justice to the story. It has the potential to be a good book but was not portrayed accordingly.
It is a very short book of approx 118 pages and can be read in one sitting.

Throughout history, it's pretty much evident that hatred is spreading. We wish to do something about it, but we don't know what. However, I truly believe that someday, the day shall come when people truly understand one another & all hatred, conflicts, wars, terrorism will come to an end. There is no such thing as real peace. It’s impossible as long as we live in this accursed world filled with lies & deceit!
Religion, ideology, resources, land, spite, love or just because. No matter how pathetic the reason, it’s enough to start a war, it's enough for perpetrators like terrorists to infiltrate a country & bring chaos upon the innocents. Just by living, people hurt others without even realizing it. So long as humanity exists, hatred will also exist!
When people get hurt, they learn to hate... When people hurt others, they become hated & racked with guilt. But knowing that pain allows people to be kind. Pain allows people to grow.
We as humans are filled with hatred, we're drawn to act in the name of revenge that we deem to be justice. But if there is justice in revenge, then that same justice will breed only more revenge and trigger a cycle of hatred.
Justice comes from vengeance but justice only breeds more vengeance.
By reading this short book which is hardly around 100 pages - we understand the importance of necessary security agencies & intelligence institutions exist in our country which protect us from terrorists who infiltrate our land via any inhumane means possible. It also points out how difficult this task is as we usually think that it's easy since we don't have any idea about it. However, in actual reality it's a sheer combination of bravery & patriotism.

The book talks about an operation to keep terrorist out of India. It is an action-packed thriller. It is a short book with enough twists and turns to keep the reader hooked throughout. I completed this book in one sitting. It is a perfect mix of action, political drama, and talks about the current scenario between Pakistan and India. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one and would suggest it to all.

If you love reading action, this is definitely going to be a recommended one. This book grips a reader from the start and keeps them in action and adds thriller with the ongoing plot.
The book starts with the success of previous Operation Fox Hunt and also with the success of capturing the three Pakistani terrorists by the Indian security force. Sanjay Khanna who is also known as Akshay Kumar by his fellow colleagues is a well built character. With the capture of the terrorists, starts the action plan from the Pakistani Army and the Indian Security force enters a danger zone.
Will they be able to detect the attack and fuse it down?
The plot of the story is well paced as it take us to the crystal clear waters of Thailand to Chakrata to the lands of Afghans and finally back to Delhi.
The book gives you a feel as if you are currently watching an action movie. The grasp of the author on the language was fluent.
With the success of the Authors debut book, this book too was a well written one.

Operation Hellfire is a gripping tale of India's fight against terrorism. The story revolves around a terror attack planned by ISI which is aimed at shaking India's heart beyond the horrors of the 2008 Mumbai attack. However, India's strong intelligence surveillance and brilliant planning help in smashing ISI's malicious plan.
If you like fiction stories on India's fight against terrorism or you crave for a thrilling or action-filled adventurous plot, this book is for you. This book has a very gripping narration, so vivid that I was watching the story live in my imagination. It's an action-packed thriller to keep you on the hook all the time. Though I had a bit of a hard time remembering the names of different characters (I am usually bad at it!) but it did not lessen the adventurous ride which I had through the entire book. The only thing which I found missing was character development. But nevertheless, it was an unputdownable read and recommended to everyone who is looking for a thrilling action-filled adventure.

Author's interest in the current affairs and also the military history shows the inclination towards writing the operation fox hunt and then the operation hellfire.
It's good to read the book apart from the daily genres which is different and interesting to read.
All the narration has been penned down in a lucid language which is appreciated.
We see a list of characters which at one point is difficult to remember but every character shows a different role which is good also the cover could be more relatable to the plot.
The thin line drawn between the war time and the current situation is relatable and also it's appreciated at the end it also conveys a strong message including all the current scenarios which are true and also the attacks of Pakistan etc came into the notice and highlights.

There are many kinds of concepts and themes that the authors can choose to write about; in my personal opinion, anyone can literally write a love story even if they have any past experiences, they can write fantasy if they have an extremely creative and wandering imagination, even they can write a suspense thriller if they know and have a crazy mind that can put the weirdest pieces of the puzzle together... BUT!!!.... To write a brilliant intelligence-action thriller is something that a very few can do. Because when it comes to this sub-genre of the thrillers, working on it demands lots of patience to put the apt details in order to maintain the practicality of real-life situations. In that matter, Siddhartha Thorat's 'Operation Hellfire' is one perfect example of an Indian intelligence-action thriller. As an author, Siddhartha Thorat's work is too intricate and mature in all manners; from its plot development to details execution, everything is well thought and well researched.

'Operation Hellfire' is a fast-moving and gripping thriller where terrorist organizations have planned a bigger attack than 26/11 on India and Indian intelligence agencies’ quest to prevent it from happening. What makes this book even more exciting is its narration that runs parallel from two perspectives— from the terrorists and the protagonist, Sanjay Khanna. I have read six such thrillers by David Baldacci but it's my first Indian thriller that covered many Indian agencies and secret forces like RAW, NTRO, CISF, SFF, MARCOS, and many more. The tricky part here is that to use such acronyms may seem pretty cool, but the author splendidly provides details of each and every agency and the way they function—which is quite complex.

There is something that I felt was missing: Characterization. I didn't get the chance to know the protagonist better or to connect with him as a protagonist. One of the reasons for that could be the equal importance and focus that the author has given to both storylines— terrorists’ and protagonist’s. I don't see that as a flaw in any way, because probably the author's intention was to keep the readers hooked with the story and its seriousness. For a 127 pages long book, that was quite enough, especially when with each and every development of the story there are moments filled with lots of goosebumps, some intense action scenes, and nail-biting situations.

This is a very short thriller. It is a little over 100 pages and I completed it in one sitting. The plot is very convoluted so to summarize the gist, it is a very difficult operation to stop terrorists from infiltrating India. The cover was not my favorite and I think it could have been better and much more attractive. The book thrusts a lot of information on the reader so if you are a beginner I will not recommend you this. It took me a while to get into the book but the book tied up nicely. There are a lot of characters and sometimes it was difficult to keep up with the pace and who was who and what that person was doing. I personally think had the book been a little longer and not pressed and compressed like this, it would have done wonderful justice to the plot which by the way was really fascinating. Some things in the book were not acceptable to me, like attacking particular institutions. I belong to an university which is fully left in it's ideology but that does not mean we harbor terrorists. Terrorism harbors in places we do not even think twice to look at. Having papers of Internal Security, I can proclaim some things could have been excluded and still the book's storyline could've stayed just as good. The vocabulary is good and engaging. I am a person who has difficulty in reading political and military thrillers but the narration was one major point why I kept reading the book and finished in one sitting. The different points of view in different places was a good way of writing. The characters' emotions and expressions could have been portrayed better for example when the ISI colonel was looking coldly towards Mansour or curtly cut him off, I was not getting a proper feel of it. It felt monotonous. That aspect could be improved in the author's future work.

Book (18) - Operation Hellfire by Siddharth Thorat
It has been a long time since I have read something this strong, characters who are so influential and story so gripping. The book is all about stopping a terrorist attack in India. The author has done a thorough research of every minute details and came up with this brilliant intelligence action thriller. The complete focus of the book was on discovering the threat and doing everything that's required to neutralise it.
Sanjay is appointed the mission chief after his successful completion of Operation Fox Hunt. He gets an intel about activities in the enemy country which points towards a probable terrorist attack. It has been a long time since I have read something this strong, characters who are so influential and story so gripping. The book is all about stopping a terrorist attack in India. The author has done a thorough research of every minute details and came up with this brilliant intelligence action thriller. The complete focus of the book was on discovering the threat and doing everything that's required to neutralise it.

This book have lots and lots of character which makes you difficult to understand its plot..A brave and intellectual Sanjay who has earned the title of brave due to his courage is stopping the terrorist from entering into India
Terrorist have no religion and they wanted to spread fear in the name of religion...there was a good flow with the story but how did they entered our country??.. remains hidden...there are many mysteries created due to lack of depth in the story
But once the terrorist have entered India your curiosity will probably not allow you to leave the book unless you finish..A great blend of planning and action
Its seems like author has attempted to defame everyone who isn't supporting the present fascist government.. Author has directly attacked JNU which was termed as one of the best universities of India...He has declared that they are funded by the ISI and used as a sleeper cell and given tasks when they really want to use them...He has taunted the citizens of Kashmir who are being sandwiched between Indian and Pakistani forces..
This book is a witness of how naive some people act even when they know the reality...I know this is a fiction but this can mislead many people.

Terrorism is a child of haterd which is based on everything religion, caste, nationality, and whatnot, we try ard to stop it but nothing falls in place ever.

A lot has been written on world wars in the post world war and modern times but very less has been written on the battles and sacrifices on the Indian mainland. “Operation Hellfire” by Siddhartha Thorat is an attempt to convey the action in the battlefield which although is fictional to a certain extent, yet it is as realistic as it could be made on paper.

Sometimes some book is moderate read not too long neither too short just adequate. In this protagonist is Sanjay Khanna who work for against anti-terrorism for India. This time he has a different kind of mission he must solve. Other than him there are many more characters and at times it's so confusing who is who but as you go forward you get acquainted.
This book had so many different places so many experiences at times you might feel as if you are watching the live-action movie. I liked how the author didn't the only protagonist point of you but also terrorist mindset are all seen at various places. I loved how the story became more intense as we move forward in the story gave you goosebumps.
Title to be true is well selected one cover definitely gave the vibe of the book. The narration was definitely engaging that why I could complete it. A different and nice try will definitely be suggested to interested people.

A book that keeps your excitement throughout the read. The book is written in more like in reality so that makes the book more heart touching to us.
The book as like the title is an operation from Indian side to block terrorists attacks from Pakistan. Sanjay Khanna, the brave, implies mission and throughout the reading it goes like a movie and we are a part of it. So grateful and proud to have a strong force in our boundaries, yes, its quite much increase the adrenaline of us.

A short thriller read with a lot of good characters, and revolves around 'Operation hellfire', an extremly dangerous mission.
The book is full of adventure and action. There are a lot of nail biting moments.
The Indian security services, consisting of brave men are in the battle field to stop the terrorists.
Will they succeed? Can they stop the terrorist.?
The cover of the book is good. There are a lot of characters in such a short plot, and are well built. The description is admirable work. Describing kashmir and surrounding places with correct facts is no joke.
