This book is exactly what you should expect from a well marketed gig economy piece, a slightly clickbaity title, a few very sharp and focused outline points you can summarise to a short essay/bullet list but narrated with lot of effort to expand and break it down with lots of real life experiences. I'm not entirely sure if this should be a book on its own, but maybe the lengthy prose helped infuse more information at a slower pace or I just wasted an extra hour of my life, I'll never know, either way I learned a thing or two and i'm glad its not a total stud, to be honest it was more than what I expected from it and I would recommend to anyone who wants to understand the landscape and navigate it better. If I can leave a note to the publisher, it would probably be to choose a title like 'hitchhikers guide to the gig economy' or something of that sort, I actually read it only due to the reviews and the title made me think twice about picking it up.
