Becoming a baby daddy wasn’t part of the plan…

Cooper ‘Coop’ Danford is an NFL Titan and hot commodity to his female fans. Not one to settle down, Coop enjoys the spoils of fame and fortune. It's not until sassy, sexy, Zoey ‘Zee’ Porter literally shows up on his doorstep that he contemplates something more.

Zee is a woman who knows what she wants, and she's not afraid to take it. Thrown into the deep-end with her best friend, Faith, Zee unwittingly finds herself in the home of NFL heartthrob—lucky number seven—Cooper Danford. He's everything she likes in a one-night-stand. He's hot, ripped, and ready to show a girl a good time. After a sizzling weekend fling, Zee is keen to leave him behind and go about her life.

Coop has other plans.

Attempting to woo Zee, she keeps him at arm's length, unwilling to let herself fall in love. When the fates collide and the not-so-couple couple find themselves expecting, they're in for some sidesplitting adventures along the way.

What does love, lust, and family look like when these two find themselves in the endzone before Zee was ready to start the game?

I guess it was fine. But I really disliked Faith.
Also, it's not really a standalone, given that the beginning centers in the first book.

Such a Hoot. I loved Fumble (book 1 of this series). I laughed, smiled and had a heart full of warm fuzzies as I read it. When Interception came along I was both excited and scared. Scared because I thought no way could this book keep up with Fumble. Well Ms. Haining proved me wrong. If you read the first book you know Zoe and Cooper had a wild, hot and crazy fling. Neither wanted more than just hot sexy times. If you haven’t read book 1 I highly recommend reading it first, however, the start of Interception will backtrack enough to keep you up to day with Zoe and Coops part in book 1.

Interception is well written, funny and playful. I fell in love with Zoe and Coop all over again. The author gave us a storyline that will melt your heart and keep you flipping pages. It’s a great reminder that when things go wrong, it’s not the end of the world and where our hearts are concerned sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith.

Awesome RomCom that you don’t want to miss. Grab up book 1 too - you won’t regret reading these fast paced hilarious books of the Hall of Fame Series. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.

Cooper Danford is delicious

INTERCEPTION
is Eva Haining's second foray into RomCom, and she has definitely mastered this genre. This second instalment in the Hall Of Fame Series can be read as a standalone, however some chapters do run alongside some of Fumble's ... so why not read both. INTERCEPTION is another laugh out loud story, beginning from the very first scene.

"He's so unbelievably sexy. All rugged and bad boy, and just sex on a stick."

Cooper "Coop" Danford and Zoey "Zee" Porter first met and had some hijinks together in Fumble, and now their story continues. What happens when a hotshot jock falls for a woman who only wants casual? Fun, games and lots of hilarious moments, that's what. But can Coop convince Zee that his feelings are real, or is she just going to constantly deny there is anything between them?

"We didn't plan this, but the moment you walked in my door, I've been under your spell, even when you didn't want me to be."

To say that Coop and Zee are hot together would have to be the understatement of the century. These two are like a pair of rabbits on heat, they just can't get enough of each other. One thing leads to another and suddenly we have a baby mummy and daddy. From this moment on the story really gets going. Coop does everything in his power to convince Zee that they are destined to be together, but will her past prevent her from experiencing the happiness she deserves? Coop is all-in with Zee, he's never going to let her go. He's brilliant with everything that they go through, constantly encouraging her and giving her some well needed confidence. His love and support for her is breathtaking. Pregnancy brings on some very funny moments, as does the labour, both had me in complete stitches from laughing so much. There's also some very tender moments between the two - but it is the hilarious ones that are definitely remembered.

"When are you going to realise I'm so in love with you I can barely breathe?"

Even though Coop comes across as being a giant man-child, this man has a heart of gold. He's reliable, dependable, protective, loyal and unbelievably swoonworthy. He's and open book, laying his heart on the line for a woman who feels she is undeserving. Does she have the ability to open her heart and let Coop in?

"I'm always going to desire you, Zee. You're the love of my life."

Eva Haining has definitely scored a touchdown with INTERCEPTION. Her comedic timing was perfect, her character development sublime and the storyline was exactly what I knew she would deliver. If you need to sit down and spend a few hours chilling and laughing, then I strongly recommend this book.

Personally I believe that Ms. Haining has raised her own bar with this hilariously funny RomCom. Can't wait to see what she does with the next one.

It's always sad when book two is less than book one. I looked forward to this one because Zee was such a significant character in Faith's book that I figured Zee's book would be monumental. But it fell short. Sadness.

Zoey Porter and Cooper Danford are flint and kindling; together, they make fire. The two are so steamy they mate like bunnies, and it's not going against the odds that they find themselves in the family way.

Family way? What am I in the fifties? She's up the duff. Zee's knocked up, and Coop's swimmers are champions.

Throughout the book, there is one main issue that, through character development, is resolved towards the end. Usually, you would call something like this the crux, the breakthrough. But in this case, it didn't read like that. There was no real hill to climb or crises in Interception that gives us an 'Aha! Moment' and due to that, the book felt as if there is no challenge. I thought at the end like there should be something else. Where was the rest of my story? All I read was a bunch of Zee's BS and more of Zee's BS, followed by Zee's BS.

So let's talk about the amount of BS Zee has in this book. A megaton of issues that could choke a story. And at times, it feels like it does. Were it not for the humor, it would be hard to like Zee at all. Coop's chemistry with her keeps her likable, and it is the only thing that salvages many of the breaking points of Interception where I couldn't take another moment of Zee. Faith was a much more palatable character.

Interception is a rom-com, and it is a successful romantic comedy. There are many laugh-out-loud moments. I hesitate to think of many that are better than anything in Fumble, though. So, really, the first book was much better.

I recommend this to those who read Fumble and just really have to know what happens at Coop's house. But please read Fumble first!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary advance copy of this book.

This is book 2 in the series. I started it but felt very lost so I read the first book before. While Coop and Zoey/Zee's relationship starts in this book, the events referred to in this book feature her best friend, Faith and Coop's best friend, Hunter happen in the first book and so you might want to read the first book, Fumble, before this one. Aside from that this book stands alone easily.

After having read both books. This one is my favorite. It stars Zee aka Zoey and Cooper aka Coop they are best friends to the couple in the first book and when their friends have an issue in their relationship, Zee and Faith end up on Coop's doorstep and thats when the fun begins.

Zee is a bit over the top and has some great zingers, she is spunky and a handful and Coop just tries to keep up with her. She is very casual in her relationships and in this story Coop is the one chasing her and trying to get her to see they can have more.

Coop is absolutely awesome. From the minute he meets Zee he is all in. But she has issues I guess you can say. Her parents were never there for her and so she doesn't see how Coop could really want her. I loved how hard he works to get her to give him a shot and he is why I loved this story so much.

I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is Zee and Cooper’s story, besties of Hunter and Faith.

This was another great addition to this series because I just love this crazy group of friends. Cooper is totally swoon worthy especially in his campaign to finally win Zee’s love. Zee did not make it easy and I felt so bad for Cooper for most of the book, but the man did not give up.

Zee will frustrate the daylights out of you with the way she hold back from Cooper, but our girl has some serious reasons why she is the way she is. Her parents are straight trash and I really wish she didn’t let there ugliness control her life.

I loved how we get to see there life as new parents how not easy that transitions is, but they handled like champs and with a great support team. The birthing scene between Zee, Cooper and Faith was flipping hilarious.

There was one thing that confused me: Zee said she was an unplanned pregnancy but her sister wasn’t. We never hear anything about the sister again, not her name, what happened to her, we learn nothing of this sibling. She is mentioned in chapter one and never again.

I look forward to reading the next book on Cooper’s friend, Anders Verbeck, the Yankees pitcher.

Eva Haining is a new to me author, so reading the Hall of Fame series for the first foray into her world was a fantastic introduction. AND it's called the Hall of Fame series?! I mean what obsessed football girl could resist especially since I've been over the moon about PEYTON MANNING OFFICIALLY GOING INTO THE HALL FAME (sorry any excuse to yell that again is the best)! Anyway, Zoey aka Zee is all about a fling, so when she can experience the super sexy NFL player Coop, she sure does climb on. After the HOT weekend is over, she goes on her merry way, but Coop (who is a fling type of guy himself) finds himself wanting to make Zee his, but she's not exactly going along with it. However, there is a party favor from that weekend so the stakes get a bit higher, so will Coop manage to  complete a hail mary?! Interception is a fantastic story with all the heat, humor, sweet, and all around fun tied up in hope so yeah, I LOVED this story HARD! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Omg talk about a unconventional relationship between two people that just wanted to fool around.

Zoey who has grew up unloved by her parents and is a tough cookie to crack. She is strongly independent and lives by the motto of no strings attached. She’s down for a good time but not a long time. When her friend needed her help to confront a famous footballer that took her virginity, they decide to show up unexpectedly at his house. When they arrived she never expected to see his extremely hot friend Cooper. He is a pro athlete as well and known as a playboy.

Cooper who is helping his friend hide out from the media never expected two women to show up at his house. As soon as he saw Zoey he knew he was a goner. There was so much sexual attention between the two it could crack ice. They had a one night stand that lasted past the one night.

When Zoey finds out she’s pregnant and she tells Cooper, and that leaves them wondering could their relationship be more.

Interception is the second title in the Hall of Fame series, and whilst you can read this title as a standalone, I would highly recommend reading Fumble first as several of the chapters run concurrent to events that occur in the previous title.
Cooper and Zee’s story is endearing and fun, with equal parts heat, heart and humor.
Zee is endearing, yet frustrating at the same time. Her inability to let down her walls and commit to a relationship with Cooper who clearly idolizes her is more than a little frustrating.
Cooper has a well earned reputation as a player, but he’s a good guy with a heart of gold, who is not afraid to show his feelings and has the patience of a saint.
Their banter is fun, flirty and sure to leave you laughing out loud at times.
A fast paced and enjoyable read, and I look forward to seeing what Eva Haining writes next!

Zee and Coop meet via their respective best friends. A HOT weekend fling and both go their separate ways. Cooper has always been happy with his trail of flings and one night stands until Zee. Something about her makes him want more. Can Coop convince Zee to give him a chance at more than just being the baby daddy?

These 2 will keep you laughing out loud! If you liked Faith and Hunter's story you will love Interception. The banter between Coop and Zee is fun. Love that Coop not only steps up to be a real Dad but he shows Zee how much he wants her too. Faith and Hunter play an integral role in this story as well. If you want to laugh, swoon over the hot football players and fall in love this is the book for you.

Eva Haining hit a touchdown with this one

I totally love this book. But I would get so frustrated with Zee. I understand why (to some degree) that she didn't want to let her walls down. Especially after what she's dealt with in her upbringing. Zee will make your head spin with her constant change of heart. Cooper was head over heals for Zee from day one. I was rooting for Cooper to get the girl. He pushed all of Zee's buttons trying to get her to open up. Coop and Zee have such an amazing journey and their chemistry is sooo hot! Believe me when I say you will laugh so hard at times you'll spit your drink out. And I loved their banter back and forth. This was another amazing book by Eva. Another book that deserves more than five stars.

This story started out so strong and I was hooked from the first page. I got to say Zee was a lot to handle and it took me sometime to warm up to her.

The more I got to know her and the way she was brought up everything made perfect sense why she was the way she was. Cooper was a great man. He was funny, sweet and dirty with a heart of gold. He adored her and was doing everything in his power to show her that she could let herself go with him.

Their relationship was unconventional but that doesn't mean it was not meant to be. I've read this in one sitting and I’m looking forward to seeing more in this series.

great characters

Strong characters, witty banter, and smexy girl meets willing and able super hot guy who surprisingly is supportive, understanding, and has killer patience, Coop is a hot shot football player, good friend, and easygoing & charismatic. Zee is loyal, fierce, independent and knows what she wants but can’t let go of childhood insecurities. Oh and Cooper’s best friend Hunter and Zoey’s bestie Faith are hot & heavy forever kind of love just another layer. Interesting story… BUT
This is a pet peeve of mine. If your going to write a sports romance, know something about the sport ( in Fumbled this wasn’t as much of an issue probably because Hunter had already retired) do some research, get advice from a fan. Makes the project seem sloppy, when you read this book try to block football references and timelines both were woefully neglected.
Overall fun read

A great story with so much love, passion and feelings thrown in.

Zoey has not had an easy life, an unwanted child who knew from a young age her parents didn’t love her. She doesn’t do relationships, just nights of passion!

Cooper is a football star, he knows he’s good looking and falls for Zoey as soon as he sees her, and he wants more! The only thing getting in the way is Zoey herself, she cannot understand how he could possible want HER!

When Zoey tells Coop she is expecting, how will he take the news? Can the football playboy settle down, and if he can, can Zoey realise that he wants her for her and not just because of their situation.

Fighting against falling in love....and failing epically!
Zee is a tough nut to crack and Cooper is in for a bumpy ride but the moment she crashes into his life all he can focus on is how to fully win her heart. Unfortunately Zee was brought up believing that she was the world's greatest mistake, unworthy of any type of love or affection and here comes Mr. OMG-Sexy-As-Sin who literally gives her everything she never had... real, honest, wholesome love... in a quirky, Oh so sexy, completely hilarious manner that will melt everyone's heart. 5+Heart Warming Feel Good Stars for "Interception"... and finally believing that you DO deserve a Happily Ever After!

This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Cooper and Zee journey. We were already introduced to this couple in #1 Fumble, when they have a hot and wild fling. Coop has a reputation as the ladies’ man and he is an NFL Titan, but his patience with Zee is awesome. Zee has insecurities due to her upbringing, and Coop works hard to convince her to give them a chance. This is a well written flawless story which is fun, entertaining, humorous, fast paced, and with witty and flirty banter. I was hooked throughout this awesome story and I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Zoey and Cooper were just what I needed. Fun, great banter, steamy and I want to be Zoey. Her life wasn’t always great and that’s made her build walls so high that no one can penetrate them, but it’s not going to stop Cooper from trying. These two met via mutual friends and the chemistry is off the charts. With all of Zoey's insecurities, it’s hard for her to believe Cooper wants to be with her. When the unthinkable happens how Cooper reacts will be everything to Zoey and the fact that she’s it for him makes a huge difference, he’s not going anywhere. Great read, loved it.

Coop and Zee sitting in a tree

Wow, Coop fell big time, this couple were made for each other, once Zee let him in, not kidding i prefered this one to the first one where we first met these 2, the writing was a lot better, the first was good but i thought this flowed so beautifully in parts, get some ice in a drink before reading, hot, hot, hot, you will need it, and there are babies after, wizard sleeves is my new favourite saying for a certain area, everyone loves a happy ending with babies, right?

Maybe some small spoilers

So I did like this more than the first. Coop was a much better MMC then Hunter was

Zee (Zoey) is friends with Faith and Coop is Hunters friend. This starts when Faith went to find Hunter at Coopers house. He and Zee are very forward about what they want. One weekend, no strings. She doesn't do relationships and he has a reputation about been a player.

He goes out with his teammates and even though he has the chance to go home with a woman he doesn't but there are pictures the next day which makes Zee jealous which considering she is the one always pushing him away doesn't seem fair

The agree to FWB but a relationship based on sex never works

Then she is just pregnant. Its kinda abrupt. He takes it really well to be fair and he steps up. Its her I'm not a fan of. I don't like the way she treats him..

Her parents are the worst and I wish we had a scene where he stood up for her with them

I did appreciate that once they decided to be together that was it. There was no break up. They have the babies and everything is good

Nice epilogue

When I was approached to read an advanced copy of Interception by Eva Haining I knew immediately that I was going to say yes. We first met the featured couple in Eva’s book “Fumbled”, which isn’t necessary to read first, but I highly recommend it. So when I heard that Zoey (Zee) and Cooper (Coop) were getting their very own happily ever after, I was was super excited!

Coop and Zee had an instant attraction to each other. And what started as a one night stand, turned into a weekend stand, turned into a dating without labels situation and then so much more. I thoroughly enjoyed going on this adventure with them!

While this book didn’t outshine Fumbled for me, it was definitely a good read. I highly recommend checking out Eva’s books if you’ve never read her. She’s great! :)

I love Coop! His enthusiasm for life and everything in it, is just so contagious. Plus it doesn't help that his is gorgeous! Who wouldn't want to be apart of his life? When he and Zee cross paths, there's instant attraction. From the moment I read the prologue, I was hooked. Coop and Zee's story is not one to be missed.

This is a fun, feel-good, and sexy read. I loved Zoe and how she knows what she wants or doesn't But fate sometimes has other plans and her chemistry with Cooper was explosive. I couldn't put this down. I loved the characters and their back and forth and how they had to navigate their new life, even when they thought they didn't want that.

Zee and Coop’s story!

Cooper ‘Coop’ Danford has no wish to ever settle down but meeting Zoey ‘Zee’ Porter just might help to change his mind. Coop and Zee have a hard time keeping their hands off each other but things get serious when Zee must tell Coop that she is pregnant.

Interception is a little bit more serious than Fumble but having an instant family changes everything.

Great book!

I loved this book! It was so fun to read. See was a total bad ass. She did as she wanted and didn't want a relationship. But when she met Cooper everything changed! He was relentless in his pursuit of her. Even though she doesn't want to be in a relationship,he proves he's not going anywhere and he wants her st any cost

It says standalone but the first 20% of the book is all about the h from the first book and if you haven’t read it then it’s kinda confusing and you don’t know what’s going on. I loved Coop! He’s so sweet and he fell first. I didn’t like how Zee pushed against a relationship for 50% of the book.

Safe
Dual pov
Both the h and H were players before meeting.
Epilogue eh 6 months out.
