I read Quinn Blackbirds' Jailbreak. This is a quick read that involves God's and their children and how the God's use and punish them. It was interesting, but left off on a cliff hanger. I volunteered to read this book via Booksprout.

This is the story of a child of the gods. The gods have some strange names in this book. They have created children called aniels whose likenesses are on playing cards and they play for 100 years of their time. Blueraven has been lost to Blaze whom she despises and refuses to obey so she has been tossed into a prison. This book tells the how and some of what happens in prison, but it ends abruptly and she hasn't escaped from the prison so the title doesn''t fit. It is a good, but short book ending on a cliffhanger.

This is a review about Inmates, Quinn Blackbird's story.
I love Quinn and her writing but this story was not my cup of tea. The writing felt different and a bit clumsy. The story, even though it is in the same universe like God and Daemons that I love, was not intriguing. It ends in a cliffhanger and I think I know where the story is heading, but I don't think I will follow.
I'm sorry! :(

Vampire Unchained Part 1 by Cyndi Faria is an awesome story in the Jailbreak: A Limited Edition Paranormal Prison Escape Collection that I have read. I loved reading this story so a lot and can not wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about dark romance and fantasy in their stories.

This was a very good read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters were well written and very strong character, as well as the plot which adds to a great story. You feel part of the world from page 1 and it has you hooked. I would love to read more in this collection and see the writing perspectives from different authors.

I have only read Cyndi Faria's Vampire Unchained story in this collection and I want more! It's amazing. Intriguing, exciting and it gripped me until the end. Excited to read the next one.
