The Garden has one rule everyone must abide by or face the death penalty. Almost twenty years ago a war began, leaving the military the only people left on Earth. The rest were sent to a space station called The Garden to preserve what was left of humanity. Most of the teens have never been on Earth, only seen it through the windows of the Garden. Once the annual graduation comes called the Eden Drop Ceremony, they’ll be sent down to Earth to finally see it for the first time and to continue this war they are in. Seventeen-year-old Evara Grey will soon graduate, leaving the space station and finally seeing Earth while her twin sister, Yara, has never stepped outside her family's apartment. And she never will. Not if she wants to live. The Garden has one rule everyone must abide by or face the death One Child Only. While Yara faces an uncertain future, Evara must choose between following her dream or sacrificing her future to save her sister's life. But there’s no place to run in space.
