More a review of C.J.Booth, than the book. Where has he been????? This guy is a fantastic writer! I have read hundreds of books by different authors. Mr. Booth is at the top of my list of authors.

I had never heard of him but saw "Girl Number Four" advertised in my IG feed. I don't care for ads in my feed, but that book kept popping up. I finally figured, why not give it a read? Yeah, good call. Girl Number Four was good. Honey Suckle Rose is much better!

If you like the other books I like, and you've never heard of C.J. Booth, give him a try! The books are very inexpensive on Amazon. Trust me. Very well done, very quick reads. The action is non-stop.

Mallory and Jake are back and trying to get their detective agency up and running. This time Jake has been contacted by a former detective that knows Jake. He wants him to take a quick and easy case, just investigate where this man lives in their town, pays good money and not a lot of work.

Well for Jake and Mallory you know that they are going to be involved in more then just a quick case. They find that they are investigating the most likely candidate to be come President of US. But, what will their investigation find. Lots of twists and turns and lots of action!!

Of course, another Jake is there too.

The Fall From Grace

The book had all the suspense needed to keep the reader interested, however, the foul language used was not necessary. Would recommend, but will warn about the language.

The book starts out a little slow but it really peaks your interest as the story continues. I like the way the author brings the past and present together. The main characters are interesting and they really take on their own personalities. I can't wait to read the next book.

A well thought out and intriguing mystery. The characters are real thus fallible which makes the reading of the book so intoxicating. I look forward to the next book in the series.
