I read this book in two days. It's one of the many memoirs I've read and I have to say, one of the best. I found the chapters recounting her childhood so very well articulated in a child like manner, whereas her inner journey as an adult, painfully intense. Highly recommended.

Pure Honesty

A brave unfolding of the struggle to understand an abusive father. Beautifully written with honesty and courage. Congratulations from one of your Chapin classmates and friend.
