Awkward
This is awkward. I'm awkward. He is really awkward. Still, we do awkward well. A second chance at a romance isn't something I expected to find on this trip to the Big Apple, but I wasn't going to walk away from it now I found it, either. This is a contemporary erotic romance with explicit content. Light BDSM elements 1st person POV It's going to make you think, it's going to make you laugh, and it may make you cry, but only becasue it is a well won happily ever after.

Awkward by Cara North, was hard to listen to, at least in my opinion. It could be a great book and I will go back to read it at some point but when I listen to a story I need to feel it. The narrator was very monotoned, with very little emotion. It honestly put me to sleep. Which is disappointing as I was super excited, since there were so many steamy scenes. I will do another update here soon, when I have a moment to actually read the book.

I started this book and my plans for cleaning the house or getting to bed at a decent hour no longer mattered. I loved the chemistry of these two characters. Both the emotional and the physical chemistry had me hooked and I couldn't put the book down. I loved their growth together and both characters were just likeable characters I couldn't help falling in love with.

This is a steamy romp with characters that will suck you in and make you want to know what makes them tick. A one-night stand turns into so much more. This book is filled with hot sex so if that isn’t your scene move on. Cali and Ben stole my heart and made me sweat.
