So I’m obsessed. Watched the OG episode on YouTube then the Amazon four episodes, and went digging for more to find this gem of a prequel comic. Need more ASAP the characters are literally damned to hell, it’s vulgar, real, musical, and the artwork is amazing.
As a fellow fan of the show. I love this book so much. I feel like this book can tell us more about the Happy hotel AKA the Hazbin hotel. If your a person who wants to crack the code of Viv's show's than this is the book for you!
Angel Dust is as beguiling as ever, and I appreciate getting to see how he came to the Hotel in the first place. It seems very in line with Charly's upbringing that she would attach little to no value to money, which is likely why she's not going to be very effective in her long term goals for redemption when she can't understand the circumstances that lead people to sin in the first place. I can't wait for the show to flesh the characters and their circumstances out even more.

God I love the sassy Italian mafioso side of Angel Dust. I need more of this in the actual show. Hopefully we'll get to see it whenever season 3 rolls around. I really hope that they keep this as his actual backstory as to why he ended up coming to the hotel. Also, I miss how some of these characters were prior to the release of the full show. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ /5
