Rate this book
I’m a cop.
Sworn to protect, to keep people safe.
I’m supposed to abide by the rules, to always do right.
That’s what the rule book says, doesn’t it?
I take my job seriously, even if sometimes my job doesn’t take me seriously…
I fight for what’s right, I fight for justice.
So, how I got tangled up with a notorious MC, dealing with illegal investigations that would have my job ripped from beneath me, is beyond my comprehension.
Yet, here I am, dipping my toes into dangerous waters, doing illegal research, risking it all for justice…
Justice for innocent girls.
Mostly, justice for him.
A man I let down.
A man who can’t stand me.
A man who will go away for a very long time if I don’t fix what I’ve broken.
A man who is everything I’m not – dangerous, deadly and a biker…
A man who I shouldn’t care about, who I shouldn’t want, who makes me question everything I am.
Yet, here I am…
It’s too late to turn back now.

I really did not like the heroine in this story, it happens... So even though I like this series and I enjoyed reading this book, I can not give more than 3 stars, since she annoyed the fuck out of me.

I had a couple of moments where I was saying to myself well that's just plain stupid.
I really liked this one but all I want is for them to find the bad guy and get fucking rid of them.
I can't wait for the last book so I can be done with this series.

This is the 4th book in the series. So far, I have loved getting to know this MC and the strong women who are willing to love these rough men. This book picks up right where book 3 ends. Zariah is a cop and has been working secretly with the MC to help figure out the human trafficking problems they are having. Kendric gets caught in the sting and gets arrested. He has no love lost for Zariah and she watched all that go down.

This book has TONS of action. Lots of MC issues going on. Crooked cops. A Rat. Scenic locations. A whole ton of story packed into this book. What I didn't feel was a connection with Kendric and Zariah. Yes, they start out as enemies. Yes, Kendric ends up helping Zariah out and her courage endears her to him. They end up going for a steamy romp but I just didn't feel like they really wanted to be together.

Loved the whole story as an action adventure/MC. As a romance, not the best of the series. Maybe they will grow on me as time goes on. Looking forward to reading more.

This series by Bella Jewel is amazing! But, this isn't a standalone, you have to read in order!

Kendric picks up where Mykel ends, the club is still trying to take down the trafficking ring. Things get a little dicey when Kendric is caught with a cop's corpse and must confess to killing him, to protect the club, even though the club is innocent. The cop that arrests him? None other than the one claiming to be helping them, Zariah.

Zariah is trying her best to help the club, without losing her job in the process. Yet, she feels like she has no control in her life, her narcissistic ex trying his best to get back in her house and bed, even though he is abusive when their son is asleep. Her ex won't take no for an answer and the club claims to have her back. Yet they belittle her work just like the other cops in the station do

What I loved about Kendric by Bella Jewel, is that this series started out as just a woman coming home to find her sister, and with the twists and turns we are now hunting a monster of a man that takes anyone and anything he needs to get the job done.

I loved how much action and suspense this book had, it not only had steamy scenes, it had those scenes that you can't put the book down, but want to at the same time because you know it's coming to an end.

I can't wait to find out what twists and turns the next book brings.

Kendric is a biker and Zariah is a cop. The two shouldn't mix into the same world but somehow Zariah finds herself right in the middle of an mc situation. I liked that Kendric was protective of Zariah even though she can take care of herself. Dangerous, steamy and thrilling read.

Ohhhhhh I really thought this one would wrap it up and we’d get to the bottom of our mystery. I kinda feel like we didn’t really get deep into Zariah problems & have them resolved..... this one whilst good left me wanting a bit more.

Zariah is a cop who is straddling the line between her job, and the MC Kendric belongs to, which isn't an easy place to be.  Kendric is very upset with Zariah because of her inaction when he was arrested, as he sees it as a betrayal.  This makes them very explosive when they get to fighting about things, but it also has the sparks flying, and when those sparks ignite?!  HOLY HELL the explosion is EPIC. Now, I'm totally a Bella Jewel fan girl, and I'm highly addicted to the King's Descendants MC series, but I really wanted a tad more of the focus on Kendric & Zariah because of the emotions running so high between them but that's just me.  Oh, and while this story is Book 4, you really need to actually read them all in order since the suspense factor is a continuing story line no matter who the couple is because each book peels back the secrets that don't make friends layer by layer.  I'm totally stoked for the next book, and I know you'll feel the same after hitting those one click buttons!  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A dark twisted hot intriguing 4th Book in the King's Descendants MC series. Although Kendric can be read as a stand alone this is a Mystery/Suspense series and the Suspense has just been taken to whole new level as another secret is revealed.

Kendric and Zariah's relationship has been anything but friendly - Zariah is a police officer working in a corrupted station but secretly working for the club to bring down a human trafficking ring. Kendric doesn't trust her especially as at the end of the last book she watched as he was beaten up by the police before his arrest and she just stood by. But Zariah isn't having an easy time at the station or in her private the others don't liker her much and give her the jobs to do that nobody else wants! Zariah has no idea who she can trust expect surprisingly the outlaw MC. In her private life she is raising her young son on her own while still not fully being able to distance herself from her abusive ex!

Although the two don't like each other much and time is running out for Kendric to go to trail and if the club and Zariah can't clear his name he will be spending the rest of his life in prison the two both have a dark side, one that Zariah has kept hidden until Kendric reaches in and pulls it out!

But just the club think they are moving in on the leader of the trafficking ring another set back is just around the corner this one bigger than the last and they are no closer to stopping Kendric going to jail as they were at the start! And Zariah and Kendric's story maybe over before it even had just to beginning.

Can't wait for who is up next and what next secret is revealed!

Kendric has so many characters that is so easy to see their personalities, strengths, characteristics, camaraderie with each other, and morals. They are easy to relate to and love. They make it easy to become engrossed with what is happening to the point you don’t want to put this book down and heaven help the person who distracts you from the story. There was so much going on with Kendric and Zariah along with the back story that it is easy to get lost in their world. Bella Jewel did a very good job of giving the background without giving so much information that it seems like page filler and can get tedious. She makes it easy to follow along even if you haven’t read the first three books in the series. This was my first book that I read (have them downloaded) so I am glad to say you could read it as a stand-alone but can see that there is more to the back story than is in the book. It make it so you can’t wait for the next book. The sexual chemistry between Kendric and Bella is hot. Bella had also shown that Zariah responds to her ex but notes that it was an unhealthy relationship which is different from most romance books as most authors will have the hero and heroine being only able to have their bodies respond to each other. It is details like this that makes Bella’s books standout. When Kendrick and Zaraiah come together it is so hot and very 💥. I wouldn’t say that the book ended with a cliffhanger per se. instead, Bella concluded Kendric’s and Zariah’s story but at the same time leading into the next book in the series. It is easy to see that I loved this book and highly recommend it. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!!

I am generally an all things MC fan so I was all in to read new to me author, Bella Jewel and her MC series. This book is part of a bigger series and while I did pick up the storyline fairly easily, I believe readers will have a greater connection to the story if they've read the previous books; the last one, if nothing else.

While I did like the storyline and was intrigued with the reason Zariah was working with the club, unfortunately by the halfway mark, I still didn't care for the characters. Also something happened which annoys me almost every time I see it so I stopped and checked out reviews for this and the author's previous works. I wanted to see if this was a nuance with this particular book or if this was common for the author. I quickly learned this author has grown a reputation for putting cheating or voyeurism in most of her books and certain characteristics for her heroes and heroines which I personally don't care for.

The book was well written, had an intriguing storyline and characters interwoven into the larger series. It wasn't my kind of book but I'm sure fans of Jewel's work will be quite pleased.

I have been waiting for Kendric’s story and it does not disappoint. The club and Zariah have worked very hard to fight and keep the club running. They have several obstacles but together, they can take on anything. I adored the banter between Kendrick and Zariah. Excellent writing with a fabulous storyline.

Wow this book truly blew me away and left me wanting more from Kendric and Zariah. Zariah is truly a woman who is finding her way and trying to do what's right, she is strong woman with strong desires that she has yet to discover. Kendric is doing what he must for his club, Zariah is just a woman who he doesn't know what to do or feel about. Strong story with twists and show the true meaning of family. I loved this story and I can't wait for what is going to happen next.

I love this authors work but in this series I am so disappointed in the heroin characters. Zariah says it herself, she is worthless. My feelings exactly. She has it hard as a woman cop and gets no respect at work. Why would she? She doesn't stand up for herself. She lets them treat her like crap and just takes it. She saw how they were treating Kendric and she didn't do anything or say anything.
As for her relationship with her ex, the father of her son, he abuses her and yet she still lets him in because she craves the things he makes her feel.
To top it off Kendric is hateful to her and yet it turns her own. In as far as watching him have sex with someone else.
I just wanted her to fight for herself and her reasoning is she doesn't want to be like the monsters they are. Please, putting someone in their place isn't going to make you a monster. I didn't feel one way or another for Kendric, he just was okay.

Zariah and Kendric are like oil and water in the beginning. He blames her for not protecting him when he got arrested. Zariah knows she has to stay below the radar or else she risks her job. Kendric and the Club don't really trust her. It becomes apparent throughout the story, Kendric is not really a fan of hers. She does her best, but has her own issues. Being an abuse victim kind of messes her up. I didn't really feel a connection between these 2. I felt they were more intrigued by the other. Felt that they needed more time to get to know each other. There were was a lot of darkness in this book. While intriguing, I would not exactly say it was my favorite of this series. There was way too much emphasis on how "smart" and "clever" Dax and his partners are. Jayden was the highlight of the book for me.

Kendric & Zariah

She's a cop, secretly working with the club. Can she keep on that line without crossing over to either side? Supporting the MC is hard but it is important to find the missing women and she'll do almost anything. She is an abused woman and while Kendric has a beef with her he is also attracted.

There is an ongoing issue of a trafficking team the club is working on. That continues throughout and is a real tough one for all. Kendric is in legal trouble as we saw at the end of the last book.

While it was an intense story, I would like to have some closure. You will either love or feel the opposite about their relationship. But I can guarantee you will want the next book.

This is finally getting better!

The first book of the series was intense but made me want to read on. The second and third books, however, were loaded with confusion. Parts of the story didn’t add up, making some situations seem unbelievable, wishy-washy at best. After dragging myself through book three I moved on to this one with very little excitement. This book spreads everything out and clicks right on through, leaving no room for second guessing. Even Kendrick’s disdain for Zariah is steady, unlike Mykel’s far-fetched disgust for Waverly, and her wavering feelings for him. (Haha, see what I did there.) The story ending with enough gusto and mystery makes me wanna charge right into the next book....here I go!!!!

The 4th installment in Bella Jewel’s King’s Descendants MC series. Another 5 star read, Ms. Jewel writes one heck an alpha bike, that’s for sure.

In the next installment we finally get Kendric’s book, he and Zariah. She is sworn to protect on the right side of the law, he is a outlaw biker, their book has so many twists and turn, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. The chemistry these two have are off the charts. I loved that Kendric wanted to protect Zariah, she was a badass, but still wanted to be loved.
Can’t wait to see who’s next in the series, I thought Mykel was my favorite of her alpha men, but I think Kendric has taken over the top spot.

Wow!!

Let's start with the overall storyline of the club. Things are heating up with the whole Dax situation. New players are introduced. The hunt is on. And Holy Plot Twist, Batman! I did not see that coming. The story is gripping and full of drama. Yummy!

Kendric and Zariah are addictive. Zariah's backstory, which is not quite over, is intense. She is coming to terms with a lot of drama of her own. Kendric is full of anger over his situation, but his eyes get opened up to a lot of behind the scenes information.

These two are Hot Hot Hot together. I loved the way their story unfolded and am excited to continue the ride with all of these characters!

Have you been reading this series? If not man you better get on it. Because this is an amazing series that will leave you wanting more and more when you are finished. Kendric was no different and it will blow your mind the secrets and lies and what they uncover. This MC has been through so much and Kendric and Zariah's story is no different. You need to read the others in order to read this one I will say this. Kendric and Zariah have a hate-hate relationship and it's about to get worse. As Zariah and the MC are working to help Kendric people are trying to destroy them more than anything. But in the end can Kendric save Zariah and can their feeling be more of love instead of hate?

This is the 4th book in this amazing series and is Kendric and Zariah’s story. Zariah has an abusive ex and she is a single mom and a cop who is straddling the line between her job and the MC, and when she has to arrest Kendric for a crime he did not commit he feels betrayed. These two are links petrol and a match and are explosive together. The club has a rat, and nobody knows who can be trusted and who cannot. This is a well written tale which has an in-depth plot and engaging characters. This story is dark, twisted, intriguing, and with suspense, mystery, and love which all had me hooked throughout, I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend for all.

Kendric is arrested for a murder he didn't commit, but when your standing over a grave of a police officer with a shovel things don't look good for you. Cuffed and no one to defend himself the officers take advantage of the situation and begin to beat him because he's a biker.

Zariah wants answers and is trying to help find the club's enemy and free Kendric from prison as much as he hates her is as much as she wants him. She's a badass but she has secrets as well, secret that she thinks that she can hide behind this tough girl act but Kendric sees through all of that and something more starts to bloom between Kendric and Zariah.

Book 4 in this MC series. Much better than the last. Still lots of plot holes and I hate that it's a long-running story arc over the series of books; each one focussing on a different couple but dealing with the same bad guys. Frustrating as they always seem to get their asses kicked.

However, I liked this book more than the others. Maybe the heroine was a bit more real. She had lived a bit of life, and watching her dealing with her abusive ex pulled the heartstrings.

Not sure any of these MC guys in this series are lovey-dovey at all but I quite liked Hendrix even if he was a bit of a dick.

Fantastic!

With each book I get more invested in these characters and their stories. It’s full of excitement and tragedy. I totally devoured this wonderful read, just like the other books in this series I couldn’t seem to put it down.

Kendric and Zariah are two strong characters who have both suffered and together they can seem to find a balance. I am not going to give anything away but this is full of those moments that just when you think you’ve figured something out, you aren’t even close. I’m so excited for the next book to see where this Amazing author takes us next,

Really love this series

I was hooked on this series since the first booked hooked me and didn't let me go. The books are fast paced, the continuing story line is interesting and heartbreaking, the characters are well developed, real and very likeable. I'm anxious to read the next book in the series and everyone after that. Bella Jewel is high on my list of must read authors, so I have read almost all of her books and she has never disappointed me. Thank you Ms. Jewel for continuing to give this reader many hours, days, months and years of wonderful reading.

My heart is freaking pounding!!! How much more intense can this series get? I feel like we are down to seconds on the clock of a bomb and any moment it will explode! I don’t know who will make it out unscathed! Ahhh!

Kendric and Zariah need their HEA. We have to make that happen. After everything Zariah has been through she deserves Kendric. Omg! I feel like I’m in a horror movie with my hands over my eyes and I’m peeking through my hands because I’m afraid of what I’ll see.

Is it time for the next book yet??

Love All of her books

I just want to take a minute to say she has not let me down with her most recent book. I could go on to describe the book like everybody does, but the truth is it doesn’t matter what book she writes, the details, the storyline..... I love them all. Whenever something new comes out I don’t even have to read the description I just purchased a book because I know it will be worth it.

I am loving this series. We get to see a bigger picture being played out throughout these books and get the stories of the couples. I was hanging on throughout this book whilst yelling in my head at Zariah to open her fricking eyes. 😂 I loved the push and pull but damn I wish I hadn't found this series til all the books were out. I hate waiting lol but that's just me not a discredit to these books! I cannot wait to read more.
