In The Military Guide to Armageddon, Colonel David J. Giammona and Troy Anderson have written a brand new book to assist readers in understand what is about to happen in the last days. Colonel Giammona served in the military for 32 years and shared some of his personal experiences. Troy Anderson is a Pulitzer prize journalist. They begin the book by sharing the heartbreaking truth that the world has only experienced 268 years of peace and that equals 8% in history. There has been more war times and we had people killed and who lost their lives because of it. They explained how we have also an unseen war between Heaven and hell. In the book, they explored the life of David and how he engaged in war and how we can be a warrior for Christ. This book enclosed details and information to prepare believers for the battles that we will face in the end times.
It also explored when Jesus could return and the signs that have already happened. One of the first event, we saw that Jesus could return was back in 1948 when Israel was rebirth in a day, which was foretold in scripture. They revealed a poll done by the Lifeway Research and how they discovered that nine in ten pastors saw some current events such as the Covid-19 would match an event that could lead to Jesus return. The book included a checklist of do and don’t and also an end times check list. The book also looked at the rise of the antichrist and his rise to power and how he could be among us today. They looked at the technology aspect and how implantable microchips could lead to the mark of the beast. They shared how we can prepare in advance for a per-disaster/pre-tribulation and get supplies that we may need for the future. Each chapter also enclosed a section entitled, “military prepping principles, believer’s prepping principles, and strategic spiritual exercises”.
I would recommend this awesome book to anyone is ready to prepare for the end times and they are ready to gear up for what is to come. I immensely enjoyed the military aspect that the authors brought to the end times scope and they were able to emerge an impactful guide to prepare readers. I loved how they included countless scriptures to explain what the future is going to become and what we can expect. I enjoyed how they connected current events such as the Covid-19 virus and how this event has stopped the world in its tracks. I also liked the checklist they include about how we can prepare our house with supplies in case of pre-tribulation times. I liked how the book contained the spiritual training we need to become a warrior in the final battle.
"I received this book free from the publisher, Bethany House/ Chosen for my honest review.”
When I opened to the first page of this book I did so with a bit of skepticism. I’ve read a lot of books on Bible prophecy, Armageddon, and the like over the years and I’m not a big fan of the end of the world survivalist revolutionary genre that sensationalizes world events into some heart-stopping apocalyptic scenario. After reading just a few pages of The Military Guide to Armageddon, I realized, despite the impression given by the title, this book was different. Different in a good way.
From the back seat of a Blackhawk helicopter skimming the hostile sands of Iraq to the quiet places of prayer and supplication, David J. Giammona and Troy Anderson take you on a personal journey into the high-stakes arena of warfare. While engagements and battles are briefly depicted in places in this book, they are added so the reader can better understand the principles, strategies, and endeavors necessary to fight the spiritual war that all of us are part of. As the apostle Paul informed the Ephesians:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
Step by step the authors provide real-world battle-tested strategies to better equip the reader to meet our spiritual enemy and emerge a victorious servant of Christ. Even if you don’t believe Armageddon is on our horizon this book will prepare you for the challenging times that every individual and every generation eventually faces.
In closing, I quote a passage that really spoke to me from chapter 9 - Boot Camp.
“How do we approach the unapproachable God? The writer of the book of Hebrews explained, ‘Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him’ (Hebrews 11:6).
The Greek word for earnestly in this verse is ekzetousin, which means to seek out, demand and inquire. Passion and intensity define this word. The true warrior is one who goes hard after God, passionately and diligently. The word bestselling author John Bevere uses is relentless – a continuous and passionate pursuit of God.”
Relentless indeed!

Authors Note: The publisher provided me with a copy of this book for review.
Okey-dokey then, so I got this for free for review on net galley. whenever the description, looked at the cover I thought that this was a post apocalyptic fiction series
It’s it’s not it’s not.
If you took the ramblings of a televangelist it was super into doomsday scenarios.
Threw in a can for a conspiracy theory, I mixed it up with a side of America. Said is one syllable you would get this book.
This is the weirdest, thing I have ever read. I read some weird stuff.
I read almost 30 book to do series on Roswell some of those were extra special. This is this tops those.
I’ve had to read some stuff on Mothman n that was odd this is weirder. Even than that weird erotic book.
I’m not even gonna try to parse the theology here because it’s insanity. The formatting is also weird I tried it both on my phone and on my Kindle app and it just it was off.
But chapter titles would be in the middle of the page and on the top and it like kept rambling.
And they actually do have proper notes which honestly is nice to see
But yeah I know one store that is an hour and a half I can never get back of my life Wow my brain hurts

Preparing for the return of Jesus Christ is what it is all about.
I gave it a 5. Well written book which helps all believers prepare for these last days. It gives you all the tools you need, including check lists. I got much out of it and can implement much of it into my life. It did mention Rick Warren in the book which probably could have been omitted since he has some questionable character issues. Other then that I would truly recommend every believer get the book and read it! It will be very beneficial for these times we live in. Thank you, God Bless!
This novel releases a clarion call to the Body of Christ to wake up and prepare for the Lord's soon return. It's well written and encouraging. A powerful tool for the days ahead.
Recommend to readers who are watching for the Lord's return.
