I received this ebook ARC from the author on the condition that I write an honest review.
I’ve read almost all of the series about the residents of Bear Creek, and I’ve loved every book. This one just got me so involved in the characters, and the people of Bear Creek, along with the circus performers. The way that Ms Rose goes into detail and descriptions of how pictures were produced in that era, and the activities of the circus performers. She describes the different tricks used by the performers to attract and hold the attention of the audience, the entire book just held the full interest of this reader from beginning to end.
Danny is a reporter and New Yorker traveling with the circus while writing stories about the lives and goings on of the performers. He sends his pictures and stories back to the New York newspapers, and his job will end when the circus reaches California. He meets Matilda, owner of the laundry shop in Bear Creek. He feels an immediate attraction to her, and begins to unofficially court her.
Matilda has lived in Bear Creek for some time now and has settled down with her friends and her laundry shop. When she meets Danny, she also feels an attraction to him, but realizes that he will be leaving town when the circus moves on. She is afraid to give her heart to Danny, to just have it broken when he leaves.
Slowly they develop a close friendship that eventually turns to love. They must figure out a solution to their problem before going all into a relationship. The sharp mind of Matilda finally develops a plan of establishing their own local newspaper in Bear Creek. Danny will write the stories and take the pictures, and Matilda will run the printing press. They finally realize that their solution makes it possible for them to marry and start their life together, and this means that they reach their HEA with a beautiful ending to the story.
I recommend all the Bear Creek books.

Matilda came to bear Creek so that Bethany would not have to travel alone. She needed a way to earn a living so she started a laundry service that the miners needed. She makes a good living and even through the years helped the Freda sisters not only have a job but a home.
The circus comes to town and so does Danny along with his secret past.. He is writing articles and taking pictures for the newspapers back in New York. People seemed excited but also lerry of not only the circus but of his photography. He befriends Matilda. They seem to hit it off. But the circus is moving on in a few days. Can they give their hearts away and not see each other. The more time they spend the more they think about being seperated. Even now a relationship when you are many miles apart is hard but back then was it possible. Get the book and read about their adventures while the circus in in town and see what they decide.

This was an uplifting story. After reading other books in the Bear Creek series, I was wondering if Matilda was going to ever get her own story. Matilda had done so much for Bethany and the other people in town, it was her turn for an HEA.
I thought it was great that Daniel and Matilda liked one another. They each had an interest in the other's work. They respected each other dreams and ideas.
Daniel's backstory was a little sad to me. An incident that occurred further in the book I thought might bring some additional good feelings, but it wasn't what I expected. Daniel had reconciled himself with his past and was happy with both his present and future.
It is always interesting to read about times before cars, highways, the ability to do to any store and pickup what you need, washing machines, etc. I liked that people are so willing to be helpful. There is not meaness, selfishness, and backstabbing going on in Bear Creek. Just a desire to be neighborly and support their town. Even people who were hesitant about the Sioux seemed to have overcome that.
Daniel and Matilda worked together and achieved their HEA. A sweet historical romance.

Perfect Match!
It is now Mathilda's time to shine. She is the hardworking owner of the very successful clothes washing business.
When Danny comes to town as a traveling reporter/photographer together with a circus, they meet and an almost instant friendship occurs which quickly deepens into love. They are a perfect match.
I loved the way Danny courted her, It was just so romantic.
This was a nicely written and interesting story and having read all the others in this series I feel like I am very much part of this family of characters and their lives and loves.
It is definitely a book to be read and enjoyed!

Much needed excitement has come to Bear Creek. A circus is bringing new people into town. More importantly the circus has also brought Danny Frederick, photographer and newspaper reporter. Matilda catches his eye, first because although not a classic beauty, she is striking and she is a female business owner. Both quickly realize that romance isn’t possible between them because Danny is in town only temporarily. It was fun to watch those barriers fall and to see Danny’s reaction to the town of Bear Creek. Amelia Rose has combined their natural attraction to each other, Bear Creek’s uniqueness, Danny’s interesting in his world, and romance into an interesting story.

Another great addition to the Bear Creek series. This story involves a reporter following a circus from New York through out the West. Once they arrive in Bear Creek he discovers how unique this town is with the people and Indians working together. We are treated to a budding romance between him and a special lady that owns a laundry business. Great characters flow through the entire series.

I enjoyed reading this story. A different look at love. Two different people coming together and fighting and overcoming obstacles in their way. And the circus was excellent in the story. I loved how they all fit together. These two people coming from two different places and backgrounds to fall in love. I recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Is love a possibility?
I was so excited that Matilda was finally getting her book and I wasn't disappointed...Danny is perfect for her! Of course the road to love is never completely smooth but it was such a pleasure to join Matilda and Danny on their journey to a HEA and prove that love is possible no matter what your age.

A very heart warming story. Matilda and Danny both had very different ideas of what their lives would be like until they met each other. With a lot of work, patience and understanding they fell in love and started their new adventure together. A lovely story.

I was so excited to see Matilda the star of this book in the series. It was a great book that let me visit Bear Creek again and see such a gripping story with the leading man, Danny. I loved this edition and the way it progresses the town. Book gifted to me.

As in the other stories in this series Ms Rose finds a different storyline. As in her other books she kept the story moving with enough plot twist to keep you interested. However I am quite sure a pastor ended a wedding ceremony with I now pronounce you husband and wife.

Sweet Historical Romance
Its a good thing Matilda is so smart because Danny's a bit slow to figure things out! lol! I enjoyed this story and the circus events! The narration was the best so far!
