He's discovered an omelet! Children and adults will both enjoy the humor in the text and illustrations.
Funny and cute caveman book about a dad with a picky eater baby. His baby wants an egg and won’t settle for anything else. I liked how the dad got the baby to eat other foods quite by accident. The illustrations are great!
This is such a cute book about picky eating, and not like the typical picky eating books. The child in the book speaks in “caveman talk,” but also the same way that a little kid talks. The child is very specific about what he wants, but it just happens to be what they don’t have. The caveman dad tries to convince the baby to try anything else, but ends up finding out something else delicious and brand new can be made instead.
Cave baby tries to wake up sleeping Dada. He declares hunger. Dada gets up to find breakfast. Baba wants egg. Out the door Dada goes. Then the ceiling falls. Dada states there are no eggs. Dada offers cheese, onion, spinach, and more. Baby still cries no. Getting eggs is not easy. Dady trips and the egg falls onto the wheel with the eggs, spinach, and cheese. The omelet was invented.
CAVE DADA PICKY EATER is not only a fun read-aloud, the illustrations make it super easy for little ones to follow along and get the idea of the story all by themselves. Loved this clever, cute, and fun book!!
