Copeland is a talented writer and creates touching story lines that feature great characterization and feel-good vibes. I enjoy the way she weaves character growth throughout this novel as it progresses. If you're a fan of clean romance and love a HEA, Tricia definitely delivers!
Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. Chloe’s story takes chances, choices and commitments to a new level. The plot is fast, with unpredictable moments as you follow her through emotional struggles as she looks for the perfect love. Unexpected predicaments to overcome will keep you glued to the pages. Her schooling takes a turn that steers her in a different direction that soon has her in training for a top position. But will she accept? Witty, unpredictable and heartfelt with a storyline that keeps you guessing, while the nail biting scenarios keep you glued to the pages until the epic ending is revealed.
Chloe’s life in what she wants to do and what her boyfriend for the past three years has planned for her makes her finally decide she needs to break off their relationship. She takes up with a new interest at college but when her ex boyfriend’s father and friend suffers a medical emergency she helps him get the ranch running while his father is incapacitated. Meanwhile her attraction grows towards the new boy at college. As everyone goes their separate ways they do stay in touch and as Chloe hopes things will work out with her new boyfriend they sour when he achieves his dream. Chloe goes through different jobs but finally ends back where she went to college and meets up with her first boyfriend and finds after what she has experienced away from him, he is what she really wanted all along after all!
This is a sweet happily ever after where Chloe experiences love from two different boyfriends in different settings. One remains true but the other didn’t as that love was replaced by another that was more important to that individual than she was.
I enjoyed this story and recommend it as a book worthy of making you laugh and cry as you experience the happiness and devastation that Chloe feels. Tricia let’s us experience life through her characters as we can relate to what they go through because we’ve been there ourselves or we know people who have.
I think this Perfect series is Perfect reading just because it is so life life! We root for Chloe to be happy like we did in the different scenarios in the first book Perfect and even though this only concerned the first two options from the first book, it delved deeper into both of them and showed how mature one was and how shallow the other was when both achieved what they wanted.
Chloe is a young college student from a small town where everyone knows everyone and nothing ever changes. She dreams of more. She wants to be in the city and to experience life outside a small town. She continues to date her high school sweetheart while away at school seeing each other when they can. However, when Adam (said sweetheart) starts planning out their lives together in this small town, Chloe retreats. She realizes that She and Adam have different goals in life. Adam's plan is to take over his father's ranch and stay. At school, Chloe meets Issac, the college basketball star destined for bigger and better things. They are thrown together when they have several classes together and study groups. As Issac continues his basketball career can they keep their relationship together. Will Adam ever Chloe out of his heart?
This is such a heartwarming coming of age story about young adults finding their way in life and love. They must learn what is important to them and their lives and live accordingly. The characters are very well written and have a depth to them. I love that we get a peek inside their mind a bit and learn what their hopes and fears are and then get to see how they live their life according to or in spite of these feelings. This book is a wonderful depiction of what college life is like and what it's like to venture out into the world of adulthood.
I definitely recommend this book. I received a free copy and am voluntarily leaving a review which is my opinion alone.
Perfect Always By Tricia Copeland 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Perfect Always by Tricia Copeland. It is a story that once I started, I was hooked. I love the character of Chloe. She is an intelligent, strong, and independent young woman who has dreams that she is trying to make come true. She has a high-school sweetheart, Adam. Theirs is a long-distance relationship. Then there is Isaac. A basketball player who catches Chloe’s eye and heart. What does the future hold for Chloe? Who will she find true happiness with? Will all of her dreams come true? Read this book to find out. Chloe is a character that I grew to care about with each chapter that I read. I wanted her to find happiness. She is a character that I was rooting for her to succeed in all that she does. This is a book that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. The author does an amazing job of making both the storyline and the characters come alive on the pages. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that is entertaining and you won’t want to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it.
I enjoyed this contemporary romance which saw our independent and sassy heroine Chloe have a dilemma between staying in her small town with her childhood sweetheart or leave for the big city. Chloe and rancher Adam have been dating since high school and have even continued a long distance relationship when Chloe left for a job in the city. Chloe is unhappy that Adam has made plans for them both to move into his family’s ranch without taking into account Chloe's dreams of a successful career in the city. So, when she meets city boy Isaac, Chloe can see a very different future for herself. Having ended her relationship with Adam, Chloe starts dating professional basketball player Isaac. However when his career and an opportunity for an internship for her send them in different directions, this new relationship becomes complicated. With Adam on her mind Chloe has to decide where and with who her heart lies. This was a wonderful book to read, the storyline flowed and the characters were likeable and relatable. I really felt for Chloe and her dilemma and wanted her to get her happy ever after. A heartwarming read, perfect for an afternoons escapism.
Perfect Always is the second book in the Perfect series by Tricia Copeland. It is a fun contemporary romance- with just a little drama- and some fantastic character development and growth. After reading Perfect (Book One) and enjoying it so much, I thought we were ‘one and done’- so finding this book on my recommended book feed was a real treat. We met Chloe in Book One, and we follow her again through this story. She is a small town girl with big city dreams. Leaving her high school sweetheart, Adam, behind to attend college- Chloe soon meets Isaac- and so the story takes off. Perfectly enjoyable!
Perfect Always by Tricia Copeland is part of the Perfect series, and an amazing read! This book is definitely a standalone, you don't have to read the first one to understand the plot and story of this one. I absolutely loved reading this novel! Very well written, with a great plot and storyline I could hardly put it down until I finished it all. I enjoyed all the characters, they were absolutely great! And it was very romantic, without all the steam if you don't enjoy the raunchy-ness of other romance series. It was also very easy to read! This was the first book I've read from this author but it definitely won't be my last. I highly recommend this novel!
Perfect Always by Tricia Copeland and a fun and entertaining story that I really enjoyed reading from the moment I picked it up. Chloe is one of those characters that you cannot help but get behind and really engage with. She was strong yet sweet and I liked that she wasn’t afraid to follow her own dreams, even when it meant making difficult decisions. Tricia Copeland is a great author who really knows how to create consistently good stories. She has a natural writing style that allows the story to flow easily and develop in the best way. I always enjoy reading of her books and this one is no exception!
This story follows Chloe, Adam, and Isaac. Chloe wants to leave her small town for the big city. She is currently dating Adam, but when he decides to run his father’s ranch and stay in the small town, Chloe does not feel the same way. She meets Isaac at school and their relationship starts to bud. Isaac is focused on his basketball career – can their relationship survive? This is a great young adult story with a HEA!
I have loved Copeland’s writing for a while and when I saw she was coming out with another “Perfect” tale I knew I had to read it. I was most definitely not disappointed. Chloe is a really fun character to read and connect to. The ever popular small town vs big city debate certainly plays a large role in this storyline. But overall it comes down to what the heart wants and who the heart wants. Copeland’s characters always have a way of sneaking in and grabbing my attention. This book will be one I will go back to enjoy many times over. Thank you so much, Ms. Copeland!
Perfect Always was such a sweet, feel-good read! I loved getting to watch the relationship grow naturally, and the characters were so easy to root for. Maria Jane has a way of writing romance that feels genuine without being overly dramatic, which I really appreciate. I found myself smiling through so many scenes, and by the end, I wasn't ready to say goodbye. If you're looking for a heartwarming romance with lovable characters and all the happy feels, I'd definitely recommend picking this one up.
I have recieved an advanced reader copy of this book by Trivia Copeland herself and let me tell you! Perfect Always is a very entertaining read. I was sucked in by the first chapter and could not put the book down! I really liked this book because I did not see the ending coming (which I am fairly good at predicting the endings of novels). It was surprising, different, and excellent! 100% recommend!
Perfect always is a Young Adult romance where the vivacious bubbly heroine Chloe has to make a choice between her old flame, who lives in the country side or the basketball player, with whom she starts a budding relationship. Parts of this book reminded me of Sweet home Alabama. If you are looking for a light-hearted romance and a quick breezy read, this book is for you.
Beautiful story for young adults trying to make their way in the real world as love is pertained to. This story is about taking chances in love and life with your goals. As we enter these characters’ minds, we realize what their doubts and fears are but this makes the perfect love triangle that we don’t know which man to choose for Chloe. Easy to love characters, romantic scenes and very entertaining. This book is a great read!
Another Fabulous book by Tricia. I love all the twists and turns she includes in her books. The characters many times match real life situations.Great surprise ending. Kudos Trisha!
In the first Perfect romance book of the series, Perfect, we saw Chloe in brief romances with 5 different choices of perfect loves. In Perfect Always we find Chloe faced with similar choices but this time you experience the whole love story from beginning to end! Who will be her Perfect Always? Does she crave big city excitement? Will a jet-setting career and basketball star boyfriend fulfill her dreams? Would you choose the big city bustle or slower-pace of a small town?
I can't wait for you to throw your hat into the ring in this big city-small town debate!
This story is by an author that I enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is their creative characters that are written with a lot of heart and soul. I also enjoy their use of details that make me feel as if I was part of the story. This story is no different. This is a story about Chloe. She has dreams of leaving the small town along with a long distance relationship with her high-school sweetheart, Adam then she meets Issac. Following her dreams means leaving Adam behind. Will she find what she is looking for? I enjoyed all the characters in this story. They are well developed and connectable. They had me wanting to know what would happen to them next. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout which made their story easy and entertaining to read. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story and one you don’t want to miss. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I highly recommend this story.
Same same but different if that makes sense 😉 it will if you’ve read Perfect 🌸
So Chloe and Adam have been together for quite some time time but now they’re at different universities and the distance is a little tough and her dreams and Adam’s are different so the inevitable happens and following their breakup her bestie Bree decides they need to let their hair down and go out for a night on the town ….
Bree introduces her to Isaac , a basketball player and they realise they’ve hit a few classes together and become study buddies soon enough they become more and all this is happening while she’s waiting to hear about working in Paris and Paris has been her dream for so long so when her dream comes true naturally everyone is excited and happy and she wants to fiend as much time with Isaac as she can before heading to Paris ….
Chloe has a tough time time fitting in and she does a little introspection , life and your dreams don’t have to be perfect to be real and achievable😉
A lovely way to spend an afternoon or 2 watching Chloe live and discover life
This is such a heartwarming coming of age story about young adults finding their way in life and love. Will Chloe figure out what she wants in life? Will she be with Isaac or Adam? You will just have to read to find out. I missed out on book 1 and now I am going to go back and read the first book then reread the second book. If you love a good clean romance novel this one is well worth the read, it had me hooked from the beginning to the end. I could hardly put this book down, because I needed to know what happened next and this book will pull at your heart strings. This book is also relatable as well.
I have read a few books from this author and she always knows how I like my romance books. This is the second book in the Perfect series. It could be read as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I could not help but to fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing book. I can’t wait to see who she will write about next.
Chloe is ready for her dream job in the city. She is ready to get out of her small town. Chloe is so excited to be getting what she has wanted for years. The problem is she has to date long distance and she is afraid of losing the love of her life. When she meets the very handsome basketball player, Isaac she gets really confused. Chloe gets to know Isaac really well but can she deal with being in the limelight. Will Chloe get her happy ever after or will she go back to her safe place?
Perfect Always by Maria Jane is a standalone novel in her Perfect series, I had not read any of the other books in the series but as it’s a standalone I had no trouble jumping right in. This storyline started off a bit slow for me but found that the pace did pick up the longer I read.
This storyline centers around our female mc and follows her love life journey. Her character felt very authentic, she didn’t always make the best choices and she had me physically cringing at times but it all added up to her feeling relatable.
I enjoyed how the author integrated so many characters into the storyline, she managed to provide the right amount of detail that I never felt like I was missing information from not having read the other books in the series. Overall, I enjoyed this novel and the dynamic world the author created.
Perfect Always is a sweet and engaging romance that does a great job of balancing love, ambition, and the challenge of choosing your own path. Chloe is an easy character to root for as she navigates big dreams, changing relationships, and some difficult decisions about her future. I enjoyed the mix of small-town charm and big-city possibilities, and the romance kept me invested without overshadowing Chloe's personal growth. The story is heartfelt, easy to read, and full of relatable moments about following your heart while chasing your goals. A lovely romance that's perfect for readers who enjoy emotional, character-driven love stories.
This book is about Chloe. She is the daughter of a single mom. Born in Vietnam and raised in Kentucky. A very smart girl who seemingly has it all. Or so outsiders would think. She is always questioning herself. A typical college coming of age book. This book was an okay read. Not any hot sex scenes. And formatted really weird. Everything leans to the left.
Perfect who choose romance. Chloe has to decide between her high school sweetheart and going against her dreams or the new man that's kinda where she wants to be. Well, which would you choose! This is book 2 in the series and it's just as good as the first! It's fun, keeps you engaged and wanting more.
Such a good book. The whole theme of this series in my opinion is that Perfect isn't always what you first imagine it to be. I really enjoy this book. The choices Chloe makes and the things she goes through to discover what her "perfect" is are realistic and believable. I am really enjoying this series.
Perfect Always is an amazing HEA book. I loved it so much that I couldn't put it down once I started. The Chloe, Adam and Isaac triangle is fun. Watching Chloe grow up so much was the highlight of the book. If you read Perfect then you need to read Perfect Always
Perfect Always is the second book in the Perfect series. It takes a look at Chloe's love life and the choices that she has to make to find the man who is most suited to her. I love how it takes another look at the intricacies of each of the romances between Chloe and the several different men in her life as she seeks to find the one who is perfect for her. It really makes you look at what you want out of life and then appreciate your loved one more. I love that when I read this second book in the series, it offers a new insight into each of the different romances that Chloe has and the soul-searching that she goes through to find the man of her dreams who will respect her for what she wants out of life, and that it's okay to not want to settle for less than the best. This was a feel-good romance with wonderful characters who are living realistic lives you can relate to. @Brandy Rymer 07/2026
