I'm sitting here with tears on my face. I don't do spoilers so I'll just say that this was a really great book and an amazing series. I was absolutely absorbed into it, or it into me. Its been awhile since this was released, not to mention it's the third book of a TRILOGY but I really hope he comes back to it somehow. It doesn't feel finished and so much remains unresolved.
I will say there were places I found myself skimming for the next thing. It's almost nonstop action packed and fast paced battles. I wish there had been more focus on the community and the characters lives.
I would absolutely recommend this book to any adult.
The author replaced his character development in story one with non-stop action nonsense to crank out sequels quickly to get them to publish. You can’t count how what started out as a quiet historian who survived the end and spent a few months in the Wilds before they found the city to full on 80s-90s action star who kills more people than small box. Not to mention getting wounded/shot in almost every engagement where his now super hero strength and apparently immunity keeps him going to essentially single-handedly beat the Red scare. Don’t waste your time on this series. I couldn’t finish this book and just ended it after trying.
A very hard to down series. I loved the characters & the sometimes serious & sarcastic banter used
I could not hardly puts these books down! I loved the characters and the serious and sometimes sarcastic banter between them. It was entertaining and sometimes funny.I would recommend this to anyone who likes adventure and just a very good series! I will definitely read more of his books!
The trilogy was at times a struggle for me. The lengthy and detailed segment of indecision were hard for me to get through, even so I'm glad I made the struggle. Overall thestory was worth the effort.
