I am a quirky writer from the US who dabbles in dark, paranormal and contemporary romance. My stories aren't always typical, but contain a little something for everyone.

Probably would have been a 4 star instead of 3, but I'm really getting annoyed with this author's lack of closure😅. They beat the bad guys, and that's it. No "I love you", no relationship confirmation, no epilogue or seeing into the future, no "what now?". We get literally nothing, and it is SO frustrating 😤 Also I don't get why tf the hero is so mad that she barely hung out with a guy friend to make him jealous, he he freaks out about it, and yet he's been throwing ow in her face multiple times in the first book, okay👌

Safety:

Ow drama- wanna be ow tries sleeping with hero, nothing happens, but hero does threaten to sleep with her a couple of times

Om drama- just some jealousy

No cheating

No scenes with any OP

I have whiplash from the amount of times this book surprised me. I just kept reading a chapter, and thinking I know... But I didn't know anything! Author Sky has written the ending to a mafia tale unlike any other, tightening the narrative so each loose end meets in the middle. How this story went from one thing to a completely different thing is a work of carefully crafted talent just willing to GO THERE.

I read through this book in hours and everything else suffered, including my bladder (sorry TMI). I found that while this was a mafia story, it also was a story about fear and how it can rule even our most important tenements. Hannah was afraid to be herself and face her demons so she could walk away. Rafe was afraid to be anything but a family guard dog, pretending his art wasn't important. Branden was afraid of his own demons that guided his tainted soul. Everyone tip toed around life praying that it didn't implode on them. But spoiler alert, all three were playing with fire and life always imploded on the ones who turn their backs from truth.

"Ironically, I used to imagine what life might be like outside of the cage my past forced me to craft around myself. I just never envisioned this— freedom found in a monster’s lair, far different from the one I grew up fearing. His world is darker, stranger, lonelier… And in so many ways, hauntingly beautiful."

"God, I hate that he can do this to me. Meld fear and gratitude into a disarming mixture that heats my skin and upends my tried and true instincts. His nearness inspires a million nuanced reactions I’ve never acknowledged before."

"I’m more than some fearful, little bunny. As the seconds tick by without a response, I’m resigned to the fact that this is all I’ll get from him. Maybe I can live with that. Grow from that. Even his rejection would be well worth the new perspective."

Fear is peppered all over this story, and author Sky does a incredible job joining these people together to force change, good or bad. I cringed when Hannah still didn't trust Rafe enough, but then I thought about it... Is it really that Hannah doesn't trust her own actions without Rafe's continued support? Would he still want to be around her if he knew it all? But in the end, Rafe gives an ultimatum: Spill it or I'm gone. And that's when you see two people mold together into one nonstop duet, changing the fear emotion into acceptance and relief. They are not alone any longer.

Flame the highly anticipated followup to Moth by Lana Sky. Takes us into the dark world of Hannah and Rafe as they are thrown together by passion and murder.

Lana Sky does it again, captivating readers with another thrilling tale.

An amazing conclusion, I love the spark between Hannah and Rafe so raw and filled with need. The two somehow manage to be the opposite of each other but somehow very much the same.

They're dive into the murder of a local girl reveals secrets in both of the families, betrayed by the ones the love, you won't want to miss this story of passion, danger, and betrayal.

Flame picks up right where Moth stopped and just like the books name in the duet Hannah and Rafe are very much a moth to a flame no matter how much they try to act like the other doesn’t faze them all that much, especially Rafe. This duet brings all the feels that Lana Sky’s writing typically does for me and I thought it was great

I was so disappointed with the first book that I honestly wasn't going to read this. But I became curious because the story was incomplete and that bothered me. If I thought book 1 was a disappointment, this just takes the cake.

This is the second book I finish from the author and what frustrates me the most about her writing is how VAGUE it is! God, you really don't explain or answer anything! We never found out what truly happened to Lexi, and when Hannah finally opened up about it, what explanation did we get? "I told him everything". OKAY BUT WHAT IS EVERYTHING?! TELL US TOO! And when she revealed her past with her brother Branden, "I told him everything" BUT WHAT IS IT?! And Faith's death. What was its extent? Was she mutilated? Raped? Drowned? WHAT?!

Hannah pissed me the hell off. So many times she could have fought her brother and escaped but she keeps stupidly putting herself in his hands without fighting him. God, she is one of the most pathetic characters I've ever read. I hated her. A brick wall has more personality than her.

The only reason I am giving the author one star is for the overall idea of the story and the chemistry between Rafe and Hannah in the sex scenes. That's it. I hate the author's writing style and I HATE how vague and frustrating it is. The dragon triad could have been PERFECT. Two of her books taught me that you end up with 99 questions but not even one of them gets answered. Goodbye Lana.

I'm not sure what I was expecting when I started this book. However, it wasn't this. That isn't to say that this was bad, because it wasn't. It was extremely good. Somehow though, it lost a little of its edge. I was expecting the same suspenseful darkness that was in the first book. Everything just came together too perfectly and cleanly for lack of a better word. I missed the ruthlessness of Rafe in this book.

That being said, it was still a solid book and a great duet. This author is truly magic.

New Adult, Dark Romance, Suspense, Enemies-to-Lovers, , Multicultural & Interracial

First Person, female-POV

This is book #2 of the Dragon Triad Duet. You must have read the first book to understand this one. It has an amazing HEA and it gives closure to the duet.

Contains issues and situations some may find triggering.

Yes. This was my most expected book of 2020. As always Ms. Sky didn't disappoint! Wonderful conclusion for this dark, twisted romance!!!

Even tough I still think Moth, the first book of the series, has been my favorite read of this year, this couldn't be anything else than a 5 stars. I'm not saying this wasn't fantastic, but Moth had the surprise factor going.

BURNING LOVE!!!

34/35 STARS –  5 STARS (between 33.5 stars and 35 stars)

Addictiveness: 5 Character: 5 Cover: 5 Freshness: 5 Plot: 4.5 Romance: 4.5 Writing Style: 5

Action 5/5 Angst 5/5 Darkness 5/5 Humor 0/5 Romance 5/5 Suspense/Mystery 4/5

Would I recommend? Yes, for all readers of dark, twisted romance!

Would I re-read this book/series? Yes!

Would I read more from the author? Definitely!!!

Addictiveness: 5/5 This series hooked me on the first page of the first book and I have caught myself thinking about it from time to time. This story arch was intense, suspenseful, unexpected and dark. It kept me on the edge trying to guess what would come next at the same time afraid of what could be next. As addictive as chocolate!!!

Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 Very complex characters with amazing background stories and great evolution during the book.

Hannah really grew in this book. She opened up her wings, broke the barrier of her emotions and left her inertia. She bloomed even while burning her moth's wings.

Rafe was still AMAZING! Yeah, I know, he was still a jerk that liked to pretend he hadn't fallen, but he was so sweet within his hurt feelings. It was impossible not to adored him.

Secondary characters they were all relevant to the story, each having there one moment to shine here on the second installment.

Villain/antagonists two clear villains here, and sort of comparable in their abuse and treacheries way. A few minor antagonists, but also important to the equation.

They were easy (ok, maybe not that easy) to love, to connect and understand!!!

Cover: art 5/5, title 5/5, color-font 5/5, subtitle 2/5, background 5/5 buy 5/5  I’m obsessed with book covers. I love to find snippets of the stories within the art. I always try to be true to myself, I buy so many books because of the cover and I have skipped many because of not very appealing art. Covers are part of the experience for me and I do like to understand them. This one was perfection!!! I love how together with the cover of the first book, they tell a story on their own. It felt personally made for this duet and gave me all the feels. I would definitely buy this book by its cover without needing to read the blurb!

Freshness: 5/5 ONE-OF-A-KIND! Really everything about this plot was weird, creepy and it worked so well. Here the author finished putting the pieces of the puzzle, but she still kept throwing twists everywhere. As fresh as water during summer in the middle of the desert!!!

Plot: believable 4/5, conflict 4/5, dialogue 5/5, ending 5/5, enjoyment 5/5, opening 5/5, pace 5/5, setting 5/5, subplots 4/5, twists 5/5  Amazing opening with an incredible ending. Superb plot, with well written dialogues and intense pace. Great setting, a few really good subplots with unexpected twists. Highest level of enjoyment!

OMG, what can I say about this plot... it has a bit of everything. It started with the angst of the darkness after Hannah, added the mystery of the women, packed with action and intertwined with the heat and sexy tension of the couple.

Romance: believable 4/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 4/5, steam 4/5  Some would say not very romantic :). They were still having hate/sex, which I love. :) But it was a little less physical on this second book. It was still hot as hell, but in comparison to the first book, it took a second seat to all the action and angst going on. Fiery romance!!!

Writing Style: 5/5 It is perfect! Yeah, I know I like to say I don't believe in perfection, but Ms. Sky gives everything I want and need as a reader. Intricately well written plot, multidimensional characters with great personal growth inside the story arch, steamy, believable romance and panty-wetter smut. Work of a wordsmith!!!

Because I try to be very analytical and I don't really believe in perfection...

I really missed the male POV. I caught myself many times wanting to know what Rafe was thinking at a specific moment.

This was out-of-this-world amazing, but if I compared to the first book of the duet:

this one was less scary. Maybe because I already knew the evil, and was expecting. The smut here was great, but the tattoo parlor scene of the first will be forever tattoo on my brain! :)

Saying all that, this was definitely a 5 stars read, I only with I could give 6 stars to Moth!!

You MAY read this because you follow the author; you SHOULD read this because you like dark romance; you MUST read this because is EXCEPTIONAL!!!

I couldn't wait to start the conclusion to the duet, after the cliffhanger of Moth. The stakes are ramped up in every regard, the outside forces on both Rafe and Hannah's sides, and their own rapidly developing relationship. It happened fast, but given the circumstances, felt completely natural. Rafe loves to be a tough guy, but the two of them click so well. They push each other and provide comfort in the amount the other needs.

I loved seeing how Hannah had grown from the start of Moth, facing her fears and helping Rafe in situations she wouldn't have even been in a month ago. Dealing with the criminal element, what happened to Faith, and Branden, was so anxiety-inducing, but so riveting! Once I started, I couldn't stop reading. This duet is wonderfully paced and plotted from start to finish.

4 Stars.

Holy shit the dynamic between Hannah and Rafe was just so good. Definitely gave me Danny and Dante vibes from Crescendo written by the same author where verbally they'll sound like an asshole, but their actions betray exactly how much they actually care. I think this is truly my favorite type of dynamic to see. When I claim I like "enemies-to-lovers", what I really mean is I want to see the characters claim to hate each other, but lowkey they'll do anything for each other.

“You’re on the clock, bunny. I spoke to Zhang. Starting today, you work for me, and I won’t tolerate your bullshit.”

...but we all know Rafe will absolutely tolerate her bullshit no matter what she pulls :')))

There is no OW/OM drama in case anybody was wondering. I mean yes, there was some jealousy and insecurity especially from Hannah's side, but trust me Rafe has her and only her on his mind. This was a huge improvement compared to the first book where the OW/OM games they played with each other drove me fucking crazy.

I have to say though, plot-wise I really had no idea what was going on. I get that there was a murder and everyone's scrambling to find out who was involved, but a lot of the times I didn't understand the sudden urgency displayed by the characters. Things felt kind of abrupt/choppy and I just really wasn't following along.

But did I care? No, because Rafe and his bunny (no not playboy bunnies, sweater bunnies) kept me fully entertained this entire book. I loved the way he looked out for her, and the way she took care of him. Despite all the illegal shit he may or may not have been tied up in, Rafe was truly a good guy. He even wipes his phone and hers clean of all the nudes she sent one night, so the only evidence left was in his memories because he understands her fear of things being used against her. He's respectful, considerate, caring... like everything. And Hannah, although heavily weighed down by fear and paranoia, trusts and supports Rafe when it counts.

“Your vision is beautiful,” I whisper. “It’s so beautiful.”

His art, for one. And anytime he got hurt she was always there to clean him up. Truly a power couple.

After reading the first book in this duet, Moth, I have been anxiously awaiting the conclusion. Hannah and Rafe are the most perfect damaged couple you could find. They both come out of damaged families and are hiding more secrets than they even know what to do with. In Moth we learned quite a bit about both main characters and their varying involvments on the activity going on around them. Rafe is a member of the Triad, a gang for lack of better terms, and Hannah is the quiet girl hiding other people’s secrets. Mainly her brother’s.

But as her brother’s hold on her starts to wane and her loyalty to Rafe continues to blossom, they’re both faced with how much they can trust the other and whether or not this is something they can afford to even give into. I absolutely love Hannah’s character. She has lived in overwhelming fear of her older brother for pretty much her own life and she’s faced with some really difficult decisions that no one should ever have to face. But she does and she does it with a sense of bravery that you can’t even describe.

There is so much to this story that I don’t want to give away anything, so I’m going to focus on how it made me feel. Rafe is alluring in the way he’s guarded about everything. Especially his own feelings. He refuses to let himself be vulnerable so he continues to push people and force them to admit things before he ever will. But Hannah and Rafe really challenge each other in this sense because they are both so similar. They both would rather suffer the unspeakable pain of betrayal than ever make themselves vulnerable to someone. It takes them a long time to build a sense of trust, but it’s one that can’t ever be broken. Even if things start to look like someone might be lying, they have a bond between them that no one can break.

Even with all the twisted elements in this story, it’s deeply beautiful in the way it tackles fear and loneliness. How fear can have such a stranglehold over someone that it makes them isolate themselves from love, friendship and joy. A fear that could be crippling and cause dangerous outcomes unless it’s faced head on with a bravery that makes your knees shake. Hannah is absolutely amazing and I can admire this character in all her flawed beauty.

For those that like a darker take on their romance and aren’t bothered by bully alpha males, then I highly recommend this book. It has plenty of heat to enjoy, but the depth of the psychological elements in it is what will capture you into the mind bending pages of this story.

Flame is the very satisfying conclusion to the Dragon Triad series, continuing the tenuous relationship between Hannah and Rafe and their families. We already know from Moth that Hannah’s brother and parents have done more harm than good when it comes to raising her to be a capable young woman. They have stifled her independence and made her a prisoner despite her living away from home.

As for Rafe and his involvement in the crime world, his Uncle is not someone he can trust to have his back. Rafe is viewed more as a ‘lap dog’ to do his Uncle’s shady business.

And because of this Hannah and Rafe learn that they must trust one another when events give them reason not to, especially when their families are being manipulative and violent. I loved the additional character development which give us more insight into both of their childhoods and how they come together as a 'couple'. Though Rafe does not do relationships and gives her the impression she is replaceable, he is hurt when Hannah makes him feel like a 'dirty secret'. Hilarious! And it's nice to have those light moments when their world is filled with constant violence as they uncover the evil that is lurking in their town. Who can you trust?

4 and 1/2 stars

After the revelations in last book, I had no idea what was in store for us in this installment. It seems that there is a shadowy figure in the background pulling the strings and they are scaring even some of the more hardened characters. I feel that Hannah slowly gets stronger in this story. At the beginning, I still saw the timid young woman she was but she grows stronger and despite her fear, keeps moving forward. Rafe is still cloaked in mystery and you aren't quite sure where he stands. It also seems that Hannah isn't the only one in a toxic relationship. It's hard for this character to accept but it becomes a turning point for this individual. Liam was an interesting character and I did not expect his motivations/intentions until he revealed himself. It was a page turning story and I enjoyed this tale. One of the main themes of this story was fear and the control it has over us if we let it. It is understandable that fear can render us mute or unable to act but we should strive to move past that fear and fight on.

This duet drew me in from the start till the very end; it's full of surprises and kept me turning pages with all the well-written twist and turns. I couldn't get enough!

The book picks up right where we left off at the end of Moth, and we definitely get all the answers that the first book gave us; Rafa and Hannah are complex, but I love their evolution during the book and how intense their relationship truly is, this time they are back with more suspense and secrets you will find yourself wanting to learn more and more about their past and what made them who they are today.

I thought I had an idea of how caged Hannah was her entire life, but OMG, there was definitely so much more to it, I was left speechless, and it helped me understand better the way she behaves. When it comes to Rafe, I liked how we get to see more of him; he's not just this sexy, dark mysterious man; there's so much more to him in many ways, including everything that has to do with his past.

Once again, I loved what Lana created; her plot and writing style was stunning, and this will be another series that I will be re-reading again.

So, for all readers of dark, twisted romance, I will definitely recommend this duet🔥

This second book in the Dragon Triad Duet by Lana Sky wraps up all the storylines of the series in a not-so-neat package, which results in a very entertaining read as Hannah attempts to resolve to escape from a physical abuser by seeking refuge with mafia bad boy Rafe. Sky ties the two books together almost effortlessly by using the metaphor of a moth-to-a-flame, which is how Hannah sees herself and her attraction to Rafe. There are many twists, turns, and trials for the pair to overcome as they try to define what their relationship really is. There are also lies, betrayal, revenge, rage, both physical and mental abuse, and of course, there is love. Throughout the story, all these aspects are displayed in their dark and dismal thoughts, feelings, and finally through actions. Rafe forces Hannah, or bunny as he likes to call her, to put all her thoughts and feelings on paper instead of keeping them all bottled up inside her where they can manifest into phobias and paranoias, although some of them are actually real and not just in her head. Then there is the dynamic sex between Rafe and Hannah which is only described in modest detail, yet the fire and heat of it come through loud and clear. This is a somewhat late voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I was disappointed...I really wanted to love this book especially following the first book,Moth, which was so intriguing and full of mystery and suspense. The mystery unravels slowly and the last three chapters is where everything is revealed. At least for me the book fell shot in surprising me because I was expecting something much more shock worthy from the story. I really wanted to know more about Hannah and her brother's past and it was such a huge issue in book one that when it is explained it became predictable and I was underwhelmed. Rafe and Hannah's lives are intertwined by the events taking place and they both try to solve the mystery of a girl's death. Hannah is unsure whether her brother is involved and he manipulates her into thinking Rafe is the untrustworthy one. Rafe does have his secrets but he has been completely honest with Hannah throughout the story. He aided her in every way he knew how but for some reason Rafe was never there when Hannah encountered her brother's wrath.

Rafe's uncle completely manipulated him to serve his own twisted self interest and Rafe was completely and in utter disbelief by his uncle's actions when they were revealed. Hannah tried to become more outspoken but was very compliant to both Rafe and her brother's demands. I honestly thought she could have fought harder against her brother. She had multiple opportunity to escape her brother but didn't use it. In the end, she was the one to taking huge risks by putting herself in danger in order to find out the truth.

The romance was okay. Jealousy became the major issue between Hannah and Rafe's romance. They both obviously had feelings for one another and Hannah was willing to do whatever it took to prove Rafe's innocence after he was being set up into taking the blame. Hannah began to fully stand by Rafe and wanted him to live an honest and legal life. She made him believe in his talents and he proved he truly believed in her writing abilities by submitting her essay and enrolling her into college. All's well that ends well though because they were both able to live a free life. Rafe was no longer obligated to follow his uncle and Hannah was free from her brother's control.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "FLAME" *DRAGON TRIAD DUET" OMG!!!! This was a phenominal conclusion to this fantastic Duet so full of suspense, intrigue, angst, lies
secrets, betrayal, emotional turmoil, mystery, steam, twists that make for one adrenaline pumping storyline.
Hannah & Rafe's journey is one wild rollercoaster ride full of deception, who to trust, her brother Branden was a crazy pschotic corrupt cop, & Lee Wei-Shen who was Rafe's Uncle wasn't who he told his nephew he really was.
I loved the chemistry between Hannah & Rafe he was a softy at heart but he could be a real jerk sometimes also but always had her back protecting her and taking care of her.
I definitely recommend to get this dark intense book it won't disappoint Lana Sky us awesome at writing thrilling, dark, intriguing tales you can't put down until finished your hooked from beginning to end and her characters are always well developed and pull you right into all the drama. PHENOMINAL DUET YOU JUST CAN'T MISS!!!!

Flame was a highly anticipated book release for me after reading the first in the duet, Moth. Lana Sky, as always, does not disappoint. Typically, her books are the only things that I would happily push aside work to read. I read it almost a week ago, and needed the time to really collect my thoughts into something relatively comprehensible.

Flame starts up right off where Moth ends, and it's a whirlwind, just like its predecessor. LS does a great job at further developing the character dynamic between Rafe and Hanna, while also building up the suspense as well as increasing the stakes. In particular, I found Bran's characterization fascinating, as LS delved deeper into his behaviour and psychology as an abuser. Furthermore, the twists and turns that she leads the reader to follow, keep you on your toes throughout the novel. And all in all, she is able to neatly tie up loose ends to a very satisfying ending.

If you've read Moth, I'm assuming you'll want to read Flame, and as reassurance, you will not be disappointed.

I've devoured almost every book that this brilliant author has ever written so hear me when I say this...LANA SKY BLEW ME AWAY WITH FLAME! She has such a talent for penning so many explosive & original mafia stories that I hope she NEVER stops writing them. Flame is the epic conclusion in the Dragon Triad Duet (which also means that YOU MUST READ MOTH FIRST) that not only kept me on the edge of my seat, but the f-bombs that were being dropped at a high rate finally just stopped from shock & awe so buckle the hell up. And it's for this exact reason that I'm not going to name names or give detail away because that would be a disservice to everyone. Not only was this story leveled up on other fronts, but the way Ms. Sky touched upon fear was fantastic! I've heard it said that fear can keep us safe and/or it can hold us back and the holding back was coming in hot. So that's all from me because you absolutely NEED to hit those one click buttons IMMEDIATELY! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

OMG!

Flame is the second book in the Dragon Triad Duet written by author Lana Sky. I absolutely love Moth, the first book in the series, and I could not wait to read the conclusion to Rafe and Hannah’s story. Moth ended with a pretty big cliffhanger, so as soon as I saw Flame, I stopped everything and jumped right in!

Flame picks up where we left off, and Rafe and Hannah try to survive where crime, corruption, and fear rule the streets. But they soon find themselves in the middle of it all, and they have to learn to trust each other in order to discover who’s really responsible. Oh, and let me tell you, there were so many twists and turns that you’ll seriously need a seatbelt! Honestly, as soon as I began reading, I ignored everything and read it in one day!

I freaking love this duet, and I can’t wait to go back and reread it!

Y'ALL, THIS BOOK WAS INSANE! Please excuse this review because it might be all of over the place, but you have to know just how crazy good this was. I am such a huge fan of Lana Sky, her mind is a dark and beautiful place to be because her books always pull twists and turns that keep you guessing every single step of the way!

Flame is the 2nd book in the Dragon Triad Duet. The first book left you with ONLY questions, literally like all of the questions ever, but this one gives you the answers in such a sweetly satisfying way. This book is full of suspense, psychological turns, and the relationship between Rafe and Hannah is just so darn interesting. All in all if you are looking for a book (and series) that will keep you on your toes, this is definitely the one to check out! 5 stars for sure from me!

PS: Thank you SO much to Lana Sky for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

A danger filled finale to a stunning duet. This picks up where Moth ends and has Hannah still in fear of brother Bran and hiding out with Rafe. Lots of drama as Hannah’s secrets are uncovered and Rafe is less than thrilled with all her deception. But he is enamored with his little Bunny so he keeps protecting her. These two are so hot with their sizzling chemistry that leads to panty melting sexiness. The suspense is in high gear as the hunt for the killer is on and has Hannah in dangerous situations. Intensity overload with bad cops, bad criminals and the real power in hiding. Kept me guessing all the way to the end. I loved that Rafe and Hannah stood strong against the baddies. I was hoping for a different kind of showdown with Bran but he still got his in the end. Terrific writing, a sexy couple and a thrilling storyline makes this a must read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Insanely INTENSE ending to this wild stormy duet that had me riding the edge of my seat as the mind blowing storyline spiraled in and out of control with a surprise twist I never saw coming. The drama is off the charts as always by Lana keeping me entranced and frazzled with a hungry need to keep turning the pages making it Impossible to put down. A twisted ride of emotions dark delicious steam an abundance of angst and trust issues waving on betrayal and secrets galore. A brilliant torture of intense twisted suspense that I absolutely loved after it was over and I could finally relax and breathe again. Get this duet and start reading you will be beyond happy you did.

Holy Moly!
So my recommendation is to keep reading even if you don't understand the beginning. I was a little bit confused but in true Lana fashion, she answered all my questions a few chapters later in like two pages. If you like dark (almost F up) romance with lots of steam and twisted emotions, then this is the book for you. Rafa and Hanna's relationship is definitely not normal but it works for them. A lot of the issues that were raised in book 1 are followed through in Flame and trust me if you thought moth was intriguing then you will not be disappointed. I really enjoyed seeing the character development of these two and how intense their story got. I can't wait to see what Lana will come up with next.

This book picks up Rafe and Hannah's story right where we left off at the end of Moth and you do need to read that book first to get the complete story. Very quickly you find yourself swept back up into the storm of tension, intrigue, darkness, angst, desire, twists, drama, secrets, turmoil, steam and emotion that encircles these two like a tornado. Hannah and Rafe are complex characters and I found it fascinating to peel back layer after layer until you finally got a clear picture of who they really were. Trust me when I say that these two make a potent and combustible couple. A terrific conclusion to this sinfully enticing duet. This is my candid, volitional review.

Flame the final installment to the Dragon Triad Duet is face-paced, full of twists and turns you will not see coming. In this book we see every decision made come full circle and they must fight to get through it all.

After the cliffhanger we were left in Moth, I needed to jump in as soon as I could! We find ourselves falling farther down the rabbit hole as we find out more of who is behind all the dealings in the area. We see more into the characters backstories and learn more of what they have gone through.

I have loved all the books that Lana Sky has created and this one does not pale in comparison. It was a joy to read!!

Wow another phenomenal finish by Lana Sky! The Dragon Triad Duet went straight to the top of my list of favorites by Lana Sky. She truly is such a great author. Flame leaves off where Moth ended and we continue with Hannah and Rafe's story. Rafe is still a jerk and Hannah still hiding from her brother. We learn so much more about both characters in this final story. More about Hannah and Bran's childhood and more about Rafe. I love the storyline and how Lana can make a story steamy and full of angst. This storyline will keep you enthralled from page one to finish. I really enjoyed all the characters and what they each brought along with the story. I loved the dynamic of Hannah and Rafe's relationship together. Rafe was definitely cruel to Hannah. I don't know how she put up with him at times butHannah stuck with him and I hope we get more of them in the future. Thank you Lana! I look forward to all your stories.

This is final book in dragon triad series and continues where the first one left off.
We dwell deeper in Rafe and Hanna's life .More secrets are unravelled and things which were bit ambiguous in first book are more clearer.
On one hand there is Hannah's psychotic and corrupt police officer brother and on other there is rafe's uncle who is not what he told Rafe he was .
Author did an excellent job at throwing light at the emotions, problem, anxiety and fear of the complex characters and the whole plot development.
I really loved the whole series and highly recommend it .

HOLD ON TIGHT! The ride only gets more intense.

I thought I had an idea of Hannah's past but as things unraveled in this closing episode HOLY CHIT!
Rafe has a few skeletons of his own.

I read this in one sitting - I couldn't look away. I almost (and this was a very close battle) peeked at the end just to see who survived.
This was one twisted nightmare after another. Each new revelation ramping up my pulse and feeding my anxiety.
I was emotionally exhausted when I finally closed this story.

Hannah made some choices that jeopardized her and the safety net Rafe was trying to erect for her. As the pieces were slotted into place I understood but at the time I wanted to shake some sense into her.

This is a fast-paced story that you will want to read in one sitting - Like myself, you will most likely find that you have no other option - It is that addicting
I am not chancing giving anything away. This is the second book in their duet and not a standalone.
