An ancient enemy escapes his eternal exile behind the Eternal walls. A seer warns of a cruel sacrifice Luna must make. And the Shield of Time disappears into hands that would use it to destroy reality.
At least, Luna has finished her semester.
Caught between the secrets of the Shadow Master and the allure of the mythic King of Kings, confused by her unresolved feelings for Winter, Luna must gear up for a busy summer break, trying to prevent Horror and an onslaught of power-hungry Immortals from destroying humanity and time as we know it.

„Shadow Fall“ is the fourth book in the Mist Riders Series by Stella Fitzsimons, an original urban fantasy series which follows Luna, aka Sophie for the basics, the ones who haven’t an inkling of the magic world around them. After saving the magic community from the threat of the mysterious silver dust that put them in a come with possible deadly consequences, one would think that Luna finally got a break….. think again, because when it comes to Luna, fate has usually another plans under the sleeve. Now Luna is forced to find refuge with the Umbra Order, whose secrets could be potentially even more deadly than the threats she is hiding from. Which the Shield of Time missing, the danger of destroying reality is very real, and a seer’s prophecy painting a rather gruesome outcome for Luna, the stakes are higher than ever, but at least school is over for now 😉 and she can invest the summer break saving the world for utterly destruction…. Again.
True to the ‘Mist Riders’ series this is an action-packed, fast-paced story, with an original and rich world-building, a relatable, credible, strong and realistic heroine, that becomes even more resilient though adversity, and highly enjoyable secondary characters (not that I would ever dare to call Winter ‘secondary’ 😊)
While this is the fourth book in the series, and is best enjoyed after the previous three, it is also possible to enter Luna’s world right here and go back to pick the other three book afterwards 😉
I loved the fourth book in the Mist Riders series. Luna, again, has her hands full with school, life, and of course, the supernatural. Shadow Fall is action packed and keeps the reader interested from start to finish. I love this series and can’t wait to read more!

I am so very involved with this series. I love it. Reading about Luna and her trials and tribulations just makes everything else just disappear. You get so focused on the book you do not want to put it down. I was so excited by this book. The action and the drama sucks you in. It is a marvelous series.

This was actually the 4th book in the Mist Rider series. I had been drawn in reading the first three. Interesting how the author weaves a whole bunch of supernatural beings into a modern urbon setting. The characters were attractive, and I managed to care about them, even though some things they do are questionable. I've already pre ordered number 5.
Shadow Fall: An Urban Fantasy by Stella Fitzsimons is a fantastic story to read. This is book number fur out of six in this fantastic series that I can not wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about urban fantasy.

Like the other books in the series I enjoyed reading this one. Filled with action and suspense. It’s readied me for the next book in the series. Can’t wait to see what Luna has up her sleeves. Definitely recommend reading it.
