I was lucky enough to snag myself an early copy of this book as I have followed this series from the beginning. I know it sounds like a cliche but these books just get better and better. I read this book in one sitting as I have now become so emotionally invested in these characters that I absolutely have to know what happens next. This is most definitely my favourite book in this series as it shows a different side to many of the main characters. As ever the writing was impeccable, the characters were brilliantly drawn and the complex plot moved along at breakneck speed. If you haven't already guessed this book is highly recommended by me.

It’s always exciting to start this authors latest book, this is the 7th in the series ( they can be read as stand alone’s as well as following the series ) but this time there was a hint of sadness as this is to be the lastin the series ( for now ) as a new crime family is being developed for her next book
So, it was great to be back with Freddie, Paul, Anna, Tanya Sarah and Josephine as they once again get themselves in, and out, and then back in trouble and strife on the streets of Soho, with nee additions including Jim who suddenly appears on the scene demanding payback for his 25 years he served in prison on ‘behalf of the family’
I sometimes read that series’ ‘go off’ as they progress and the characters dont work so well etc, not so with this family and their friends/enemies, this book is as fresh and exciting as Book 1 ‘Runaway Girl’ and has as many, if not more, hard hitting storylines and situations that they all find themselves in
All the cast are ‘characters’ , every one of them from Molly the long suffering Mum of Freddie and Paul to Sophia, the Russian gangsters wife and all play their part superbly making a book full of plots and sub plots, some ruthless and all for the good of the family
You can tell I have loved these books and I loved this one as much and have enjoyed every minute of my shared journey with them, if you are looking for a page turning family crime drama then this ( and the other books in the series ) is for you

I always get excited to hear that another book from Emma Tallon is out. But I am also sad as this is the 7th and the last book in the Tyler series.
Once again, we are back with the Tyler’s Freddie, Mollie, Anna, Tanya, Paul. Anna and Freddie have now reconciled so everyone is happy. Except one person Sophia Ivanov. Even though herself and her husband wasn’t as close as couples are. She has a sense of loyalty and she thinks that Freddie killed him. So, she is out for revenge.
This is another Brilliant episode in the series with heart stopping moments and lots of twists and turns. Yet again with this author the story never goes stale. Also, in this episode we see the emotional side of the Tyler’s especially when Freddie finds out what happened to his mother years ago and the emotions stir up inside of him when he finds out what really happened at the time of his birth. This is another great book. I am sad to see the Tyler’s go but I am also excited to see what Emma Tallon has next in store. 5 stars from me.

Sophia Ivanov has been sniffing around Anna's business empire as she believes that Anna and her gangster boyfriend, Freddie Tyler, killed her Russian crime boss husband, Alexis. She is xetermined to make them pay. Sophia visits their club one night and tension begins to flare. Anna knows that Sophia is a danger to their business but she doesn't realise just how much.

I've been following this series from the beginning and each book is better than the previous one. I love the four main characters, Freddke and Paul Tyler and best friends Anna and Tanya. It's action packed and the plotline is complex. There's plenty of twists and I was on the edge of my seat on several occasions. I'm sorry to see this series end but I'm also looking forward to reading whatever Emma has in store for us next.

I would like to thank #NetGalley, #Bookouture and the author #EmmaTallon for my ARC In exchange for an honest review,

Ruthless Girl is the seventh and final instalment in the Tyler family series, which is bittersweet, however, Tallon leaves on a high and has said she is working on a new series featuring the Drew crime family who I hope will be just as amazing; we even get a sneak peek of them in this book. It isn't necessary to have read the preceding instalments before diving into this one as the plot is self-contained but you will miss out on the development and dynamic of the Tyler's. Following their fight to keep the Russians from establishing themselves on their patch, Freddie and Anna's crew are still suffering the fallout. When Sophie Ivanov, the widowed wife of Russian gangster Alexis, who believes Freddie and Anna had a hand in her husband's murder, proposes a solution to the Tyler's - she wants the two crime families to merge into one in order to traffick firearms, which would be a lucrative business for both parties, can she be trusted or does she have revenge at the centre of her plans?

Meanwhile, a man calling himself Jim Martin turns up claiming to be one of Freddie’s father's old friends and is requesting payment in the form of a job in the firm for apparently having spent 25 years in prison for a murder he didn't commit. But the Tyler’s are far from gullible and smell something extremely fishy and they'd be right; a bombshell is about to be dropped. This is a dramatic, action-packed and danger-ridden organised crime thriller which starts with a bang and ends on an equally shocking note. It's gritty and gripping with exciting developments aplenty and Tallon really knows how to pen gangland crime. There is a couple of equally interesting plot threads and both had my heart thumping and fingers flipping the pages more and more anxiously. A cracking, fast-paced read with a palpably tense atmosphere. Highly recommended. Many thanks to Bookouture for an ARC.

Freddie Tyler and girlfriend Anna Davies have finally found equal footing again. However, revenge vs. loyalty is now at war and could truly upset the bonds of love they share for one another. Through the course of this thrilling series by Emma Tallon readers have seen Anna grow into a powerful woman, the perfect complement to equally powerful mob boss Freddie. Anna has developed her own network over the course of her time with Freddie, but right now everything she has accomplished could come toppling down.

It is quite common in the underworld life Freddie and Anna lead to have enemies face them along the way. However, their current enemies are perfect examples of wolves in sheep's clothing. So, not only does loyalty come into play, learning who to trust is truly pivotal in what is happening with Freddie and Anna now. Furthermore, Tanya, Anna's best friend and business partner, has more than her share of trials as well.

In this story, when the wife of a former enemy offers a business opportunity towards them, little do Freddie and Anna realize that revenge is the main ingredient of what she is offering. The woman, Sophia Ivanov, not only affects the lives of Freddie and Anna, but also Tanya and one of Anna's employees, Josephine. All of them are involved in a plot that hardly sees the light of day, which has far-reaching effects.

What a story! With excellent pacing and flawless character development, watching things unfold in the pages of this book certainly was not easy. We the reader clearly see the danger. The question that begs an answer is whether or not Freddie and Anna see the danger before it is too late.

I have read and loved every single book in this series. Emma Tallon has a gift of creating compelling characters and complex plots, ones that are always filled with twists that nearly break my heart, leaving me gasping for air - whether due to frustration or relief! Reading this book was much like solving a jigsaw puzzle - all the pieces were there. Would they all fall into place or could there indeed be a piece missing, thus everything that Freddie and Anna having had fought for fall apart completely?

I love this world of danger that has grown over the course of each book. Although the drama in this Ruthless Girl could serve well as a standalone, what Freddie, Anna and their family and friends have experienced has been developed over the course of the entire series, thus I would highly recommend reading this from the first book in the series, Runaway Girl, which is available on Kindle Unlimited.

Many thanks to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.

This book has 369 pages and it’s 369 pages of pure gold adorned with diamonds!
Throughout the series, a lot of baddies have died and gone to hell. I, on the other hand, feel like I have died and gone to heaven each time I can read a new sequel.
This time is no different. A lot of secrets are revealed and according to the Tylers revenge is a dish best served piping hot 😊.
My heart stopped a few times. My heart broke a few times. My heart will always have a special place reserved for Freddie. I really like a great amount of main characters in different books, but Freddie is and will remain my number 1. No matter what he does or does not do, it will never change.
This is such an amazingly good series. I hope and pray that the author will find the inspiration to add a few more books.
Bye for now, Freddie. I hope to see you again soon. 5 golden stars adorned with diamonds. 😉

Thank you, Emma Tallon and Bookouture

Ruthless girl is the latest offering in the Anna Davis/Freddie Tyler gangster series and is a great read.

An old face from the past turns up claiming to have been a good friend of Freddie’s father and requesting a job within the firm in recognition of taking the rap for a murder he didn’t commit and completing a 25 year prison sentence. Something about Jim Martin doesn’t add up and after seeing his mother’s adverse reaction to him Freddie’s suspicions are aroused but nothing could prepare him for the bombshell he is about to uncover.

The widow of Russian gangster, Alexsei proposes that the two firms come together in the trafficking of firearms providing both with a lucrative arrangement. Is she to be trusted given the bad blood between the Tyler’s and Alexsei or does she have an ulterior motive. Her sudden appearance puts Anna, Tanya and Josephine in a dangerous position and if the trio’s secret is revealed to Freddie his trust in them could be destroyed.

Loyalty and how it can be put to the test plays a big part of this book. If you’ve read the previous instalments of this series you will love this next chapter.

Many thanks to the publishers and netgalley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

I know it's something we all say from time to time but my goodness, I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN!
One that certainly got my heart beating. It was beating that fast my fitbit thought I'd been for a run.
I have just loved this series, each and every book you learn more about the characters their lives everything they stand for. the author here has created a fantastic set of characters that work so well together.
Betrayal, loyalty, Revenge, gangsters, guns this book has it all.

we are Back with the Tyler brothers, Anna and Tanya, these characters feel like they are people I know, I've followed them so far on an epic journey. The author has done a first class job creating such unique and individual characters.
There seems to be so much to deal with this time around, so much going and you don't have a clue in which way things are going. They thought they'd seen the last of the Russians but it seems the wife of missing Alexis is on the war path and thinks that Freddie may have killed him. Will hidden secrets surface and destroy Anna and Freddie's relationship that finally seems to be back on track.

Anna is struggling with what she see's as a betrayal from a close friend, it's tough seeing a great friendship crumbling but sometimes you just can not forgive.

Seeing this story not only carry on from book to book but with each new book we have new enemies, new characters and this flows seamlessly through each book just reeling you in that little bit more. This series is like a drug it's set out to get you and once it has there is not giving up.

These books should come with an addiction warning.
So so good, I can't recommend this series highly enough.

If you can't trust those nearest to you, who can you trust?

Another brilliant book from Emma Tallon.
I love reading about Anna and Freddie as it’s like catching up with old friends.
This books starts where the last one left off, and Alexsei is still ‘missing’ but we know that Anna, Tanya and Josephine know what happened.
Freddie on the other hand is completely in the dark so is shocked when Alexsei’s wife turns up telling him his body is under the rubble of a demolished building.
She has a business proposition for him and everything in me was screaming not to trust her, but he does the deal, thinking he’ll keep an eye on her.
Jim also appears in Freddie’s life and despite his suspicions, he gives him a chance as he says he was friends with his Dad.
There’s a few shocks in store in this book and I loved the way it ended.
I understand Emma is moving on to another crime series but hope one day we’ll hear from Anna and Freddie again.
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

Emma Tallon has brought us a Brilliant series i love the Tylers and i must admit was wary of reading this the last book.Freddie,Anna,Tanya,Paul and the crew are still recovering from fighting the Russian for their own turf when little things get noticed and brought to freddies attention.Anna can't bring herself to look at Josephine for the betrayal of them all.I have cried for sammy and tanya that girl deserved some happiness but it wasn't to be.i am glad the main characters survived maybe to fight another day.Thank you Emma for a Fantastic series and i look forward to the next.5*

Ruthless by title, Ruthless by nature

Wow when you think that the Tyler's crew are undefeatable a spanner is thrown on the works.
Alexski is dead isn't he???
After burying the trail of the detonated building Anna is keen to make sure it stays that way as Loyalty is everything in the family but it seems that someone wants to unearth the truth (no pun intended) will it the truth stay buried or will everything come crashing down. Can Tanya find real love and will Josephine ever be forgive for what Anna sees as betrayal of the family.
Exciting and gripping as always

ALWAYS glad to find out that a new Emma Tallon book is out!

This story, as the others in this series, does not disappoint. Now that Anna has had a taste of Freddie's business, her "dark side" is exposed. She is more ruthless than previously portrayed. Having to deal with forces that seem to constantly hold her back becomes a challenge.

DI Riley is still working with Freddie. This, so he and his brother, Paul, can continue Their drug sales and other illegal deals.

Will it come to the point where only one of the Anna-Freddie duo will win?

A GREAT READ! Many Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for another super Emma Tallon read!

This is book #7 and the last book in the Tyler family series. Whilst part of a series, it can be read as a standalone book. We are back with the Tyler family who run a big crime empire in London. The book begins with a heart stopping prologue, not just giving you a feel as to what direction this book is going in but making you wonder what the hell just happened!!

I love Freddie’s character! He’s a ruthless gangster who you really wouldn’t want to cross, but deep down he’s lovable and caring! I loved his relationship with Anna, but since Freddie came out of prison it’s felt their relationship hasn’t been as strong as what it was with Anna becoming more independent in life and business. This book follows on from the last, with Freddie, Anna and the rest of the crew still suffering the repercussions of fighting the Russians. They also now face an enemy within, which could end up changing everything forever.

As usual, the storyline is strong and fast paced. The plot is twisted and gripping, catching my interest from the first page, and not letting go until the very last! It was great to have back all the characters we’ve seen in previous books, and also the introduction of some new ones. I have read these books from the very beginning and have come to know these characters very well, so it was heart-breaking, and dare I say it, exciting reading this part of their stories!!

The author has created great characters and has captured the grittiness and danger that surround them all in their crime empire! There’s lot of violence, drug references, mistrust and lies, but we also get to see what really makes them all tick in this book!! It’s an emotional read, particularly if you’ve been involved with the characters from the beginning, but it will also definitely keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through! By the time I’d reached half way, I had no choice but to not do anything else until I’d finished the book, and I particularly needed no distractions just in case I missed a bit of the action!!

I honestly can’t believe we have come to the end of what has been my favourite gangland thriller series, but what a series it has been!! Filled with gangsters, murders, betrayal and revenge, this book is a fitting end to a fabulous series. It does however leave it open to further storylines and you never know there may be more books to come in the Tyler family series! In the meantime, I shall be waiting, with anticipation, for a new series which I’m sure will match this one. Freddie, Anna, Tanya and the rest of the crew…it’s been a pleasure!! Highly recommended.

Just as I have gotten into this series, Emma Tallon has gone and broken my heart by announcing that Ruthless Girl will be the last book in the Tyler family series, for now. I have become so attached to this series and its characters, but I understand when an author needs to move on to start something new and I am so happy that Emma Tallon has new crime thriller series is in the works, so she is forgiven!

With seven books in the series, you could think that it would be starting to get boring, stale and you are only reading it as you have invested so much time into it, but as each book is released, it feels like reading it for the first time and Ruthless Girl is no exception. I loved this instalment and it is most definitely my favourite in the series so far.

Ruthless Girl picks up where book six, Fearless Girl, left off and Emma Tallon wastes no time in getting the action started. I had barely gotten comfortable and myself buckled up before I was taken on a fast paced journey with plenty of twists and turns to rival any speedway race! The heart was definitely pounding reading this one!

What I love most about Emma Tallon’s books is she just gets on with it and there is never any unnecessary descriptive dialogue or filler chapters to bog it down. The writing is superb and the characters are first class and have been well nurtured over the course of the series. Emma Tallon has really given it her all with this book, the series and has produced something that will live on as new readers come on board.

Whilst Ruthless Girl can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend you start from the beginning. I myself started with book five but did go back to listen to the previous instalments on audible (reviews still to come) and you would be missing out if you did not do the same.

I think you get the idea that I loved Ruthless Girl and is one book that I can not recommend highly enough. Congratulations on another outstanding read Emma Tallon and I will be eagerly awaiting the first book in your new series. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to read Ruthless Girl and all the other books in this amazing series.

Secrets and lies threaten the Tyler gang. Anna has killed Russian gang leader Aleksei but not told her lover Freddie Tyler in order to protect her friends. Freddie is anxiously searching for Aleksei when his widow Sophia arrives offering a deal he can't refuse. Meanwhile Jim is released from prison with secrets from the past that could destroy the Tyler dynasty...
Events from the previous book set the scene for Ruthless Girl and I would recommend that you read the books in order (see my review of Fearless Girl). This is apparently the final book in the Tyler series but I'm hoping there will be more!
I was absolutely captivated by Ruthless Girl in just the same way as the previous book. The plot has plenty of twists and turns and the action doesn't let up for a moment. We see the perspective of the Tylers as well as their enemies so this builds tension and anticipation as we wait for events to unfold.
There is violence and murder but it suits the genre. The characters accept their flaws and acknowledge their likely fate whilst being fiercely defensive of their own code of conduct to protect their innocent relatives. The emotional connection between the characters and their devoted loyalty to each other raises the quality of this book even higher.
Halfway through there is a mention of an author and book from the Bookouture family that I have reviewed and I loved this little touch!
Ruthless Girl had me hooked all the way through: evreything works so well together (the plot, the characters, the pace, the style of writing) LOVED it :)

This is book 7 actually and the last in the Tyler family series. It stopped from where book 6 stopped, the gang recuperating from their last attack with the Russians.⁣
It can be read as a standalone as well.⁣

The book begins with a prologue, giving a feel of what to expect. From there we can visualise the family's lifestyle, their confidence and love for each other. There are too many characters in this book. One of the main ones I love is Freddie. He's a no-nonsense guy, smart and a total badass. Just like his wife, Anna. They make a perfect duo. After coming out of prisión, their relationship hasn't been the best, especially now that Anna has delved into the business more. But their love for each other is obviously stronger than any obstacle they face.⁣
Aside from his Ruthless Gangster ways, he's also loving and caring especially to his family. ⁣

In this installment, we see more traitors, betrayals and shocking twists. There's a lot of violence, crimes, drugs, and a lot of the dark sides in the Mafia world. ⁣
It's really fast paced, with each chapter showing a different character, each with their problems. The many characters could prove a challenge at times, and it was after a few chapters that I properly understood who was who. ⁣

It was quite emotional towards the end too, I guess I've fallen in love with them😍⁣
The author has created a strong storyline, and who knows, there might be a new book in the Tyler Family Series. Never Say Never. ⁣

Thanks to Netgalley, Emma Tallon and the publishers for this digital arc copy.⁣

It is hard to believe that this is the 7th book in this amazing series. I’ve read and loved every single book and this one was no exception. An utterly gripping crime thriller that I read in two sittings only stopping to feed the family etc . Right from the first page I was glued to this book and at the end of each chapter I just wanted to keep reading . Just superb.

My sincere thanks to Netgalley, The Publisher Bookouture and Emma Tallon for the ARC. This review is completely my own honest review.

I truly enjoyed reading this book and thought that the characters and story writing.were well presented.

Even though this is the last book of a 7 book series, it was my first read of Emma's books and I do not feel that I missed anything important by jumping to the last book. Readers who have read all the series probably found the ending more of an emotional attachment but I would definitely recommend this series to other readers who love reading gritty, underworld crime.

This genre is so rich in new books and some amazing authors at the moment and although this may not be the top of the tree it is certainly is in the highest branches.

I look forward to seeing what the author gets up too in the next series.

I received an Advance Review Copy for the Kindle on the understanding that I would leave a review. Many thanks to NetGalley, Bookouture and Emma Tallon for making this possible.

This book is now available for pre-order and will be published on the 29th October 2020 - Go and pre-order your copy now.

This is the 7th book of the series and they keep getting better and I can never get enough
This is a crime thriller/mob story and the same characters are in all the books and to know what is going on then I recommend reading them in order.
Anna Davies is young, smart and successful, plus she’s the head of one of London’s biggest crime networks.
Beautiful, rich and powerful, Sophia Ivanov has been sniffing around Anna’s business empire and she’s got only one thing on her mind – revenge. She thinks Anna and Freddie has her Russian crime boss husband killed.
Freddie Tyler runs everything in the city of London. He is also Anna's boyfriend.
I can never get enough of this series. The whole family dynamics and how they treat people who are loyal to them. But don't double cross them.
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for the ARC to review.

Ruthless Girl is Book 7 in this gritty gangland crime thriller featuring the Tyler’s and their family. What a rollercoaster of a read this was. From page one my heart was in my mouth at times and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. Someone is out to get revenge on the Tyler’s and their associates. Will they succeed or will the Tyler’s fight back with all they have. Having read ever book in this series I have actually grown fond of this family in spite of them being murderous and evil criminals 🤦🏻‍♀️. So when I got to the end and read Emma’s note I was very disappointed to learn this would be the last in this series but then I read there would be a new series starting featuring someone who was briefly mentioned in this book. So I can’t wait to read this new series,

I just adore Emma's writing, I have read all the series and just when you think the last book can't be topped Emma smashes it yet again.

We are now into book seven following the lives of club owner Anna and gangster Freddie, I have loved this journey and how far Anna has come from that runaway girl in book one.

It has not been any easy ride and this book is no different, full of twists and turns and heart stopping moments which will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I love and feel I know all the characters so well bravo Emma, I hope to return to Anna and Freddie one day but looking foward to reading a fresh new series.

I have read and loved every one of the books in this series. Ruthless Girl is the seventh and final book telling the lives of Anna and Tanya and of course the Tyler Family. This book is fast paced and has you gripped from page one right to the very end. In a way it’s quite sad to be saying goodbye to all the characters I’ve met in this series, but who knows what Emma has in store for us with Lily Drew. Who knows maybe one day Anna and Tanya might even return. I gave this book a well deserved 5 stars, and I highly recommend this book and the whole series. Well done Emma, I look forward to reading whatever you have in store for us readers next.

Ruthless Girl by Emma Tallon is part of a series with the main protagonist of Anna Davies. I got into this not knowing the background but to my surprise it never felt as if I was missing out on the earlier part of the series. The past is appropriately weaved in with not too much baggage.

Anna Davies is a one of the leads of London's biggest Crime Networks. She is young, smart, successful and brave. This series bring out her ruthless personality as a past act threatens to come out on the open. The story is about her way of dealing with it and is very engaging and engrossing. Although the protagonist are part of a crime syndicate I somehow still felt a soft spot for them and the author has successfully been able to bring out the human side of the members of the crime family without losing out on their dangerous behaviour and activities.

If you love to read stories involving members of the crime families and love reading about a female protagonist then this story is for you.

I thank Bookouture, the author and Netgalley for approving my request to read and review the story and the opinions expressed are entirely mine

Ruthless Girl by Emma Tallon was a book I could not wait to get my hands on. I have loved all of Emma's books. This is OMG book 7 in the Anna and gangster Freddie's series and it was been a hell of a ride. I found this series has been one of my favourite series I have enjoyed reading, I found all of this fantastic series has been full of twists and turns throughout and I just didn't want it to end.

I highly recommend all of these books in the Anna and Freddie's series. I loved them

Well Done Emma!

Big thank you to Bookouture and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion

I love this series and was great to catch back up with Anna, Freddie and Tanya. As with the other books in the series, things very rarely run smooth for these characters. Their type of work can mean that they are used to having to look over their shoulder. Even though they may do things on the wrong side of the law, you can't help but want them to succeed in everything that they do.

Ruthless Girl had me gripped to every page. It's packed full of secrets, lies, dangerous games yet the friendship and loyalty of some of these characters make for a very compelling story. The twists made it even more addictive and one particular twist, shocked me to the core! Brilliant!

What a fantastic gripping read.
Anna Davis a strong formidable woman and no man stood in her way not even boyfriend Freddie Tyler and his brother Paul, together they have the restaurant up and running.
Sophia Ivanov is onto Anna but she's ready for her.
Fantastic crime thriller, and London gangster Book just get better and revenge is revenge like a bitter pill.
you will find yourself addicted reading this wondering what is coming next, and I certainly do recommend this book. fast pace, exceptional, to make you jump into the pages.

I have read all the books in the series and loved the story, this one like the rest has betrayal and heartbreak for Anna, Tanya and the Tylers. Emma has said that this one will be the last one for now and it ends on a sad note but her new series of books will be just as gripping and the new characters are introduced briefly in Ruthless Girl. I would like to thank the publishers and netgalley for letting me have the book to review and the opinions expressed are entirely my own views and are completely unbiased
