I have passed over this book many times because the cover is so unpleasant. I thought it would be a novel similar to The Lord of Flies but it wan not. A interesting story written by tow brothers about their lives growing up with an alcoholic, Father who likes to dress up in women's clothes. Each had quite a different account of how their youth unfolded.

Beautiful book. These two brothers had a strange and diffucult childhood and yet overcame it. They both became very succesfull and quite uniquely wrote this book together! Highly recommended read. Set in suburban Sydney.
