Not bad for a Book 2. Not going to lie. I know serials are a staple in Urban Fiction/Romance but it's not usually my bag. I'm a standalone book fan. I fell in love with Shvonne's no-nonsense crafty writing style through the Crenshaw Kings series, all standalones, but it's been fun discovering these other serials. Here in Book 2 we continue Yazir & Nina's romance with rivals getting got, but we also have 2 other couples emerging; each couple has their own set of problems. Usually I'm bored by other side characters and their little romances but here I was sucked in for the ride. The side characters were really intriguing, and their internal conflicts really resonated. The major cliffy gets resolved and even though it broaches the line of outlandish, tapdancing on it just a tad I was still down for the ride and really pulled in.

Nina’s mom is a piece of work and very hateful and jealous of her daughter! It’s a crying shame how low down she is.
I’m laughing out loud regarding all the trifling ladies who wants Yazir. This Gabriella was just doing too much and Caroline is very annoying. There are so many men in the world, but these women are after the taken ones.
Dasey playing a dangerous game with his baby mama and Madison. He’s playing both sides which will come back and bite him in the behind.
Matthew got what he deserved. This man got four children and just out there scheming and being too lazy!
The end was wow 😯!

Loving
I’m loving this series but I just feel like things are going too good to be true. I feel like something bad is going to happen between Yazir and Nina but I truly hope not. I also don’t like how Dasey is doing Madison. She’s been through a lot and I don’t like how he was treating her at first. I’m hoping Ulanna doesn’t do anything stupid and of Dasey really like Madison he puts her in her place. I also kind of feel like Ulanna isn’t really pregnant. I guess we’ll see if my theories are right

Awww man!!!
In all of this author’s books every single one of them there is either a psycho who doesn’t know when to let go or a psycho who wants to force their love on you whether you want it or not. In this book there was Seth, Gabi, Cherelle, and Caroline. 3 of the four didn’t make it. I don’t think Yaz died in a plane crash. I think Caroline kidnapped him and crashed his plane to hide it🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️.

Yaz pretty much-cleaned house in this one but also ended up with beef that I thought he was going to turn around. Nothing really went on in this one besides some minor relationship issues that were over within the chapter. The ending was good but I can’t see the main character gone so I’m guessing it’s all a ruse by Caroline at least that would give this series some action.

However, outside forces continue to challenge their bond, even after the situation with Seth is resolved. The drama and tension keep building, making it hard to put down. I’m excited to dive into book 3 to see how everything comes to a close!

Ms Shvonne Latrice took her game to another level with this highly anticipated sequel, Yazir and Nina 2. Sameer is the epitomy of a cocky dude who just didn't believe that fire burned. His brother told him repeatedly in part 1 to tell Aubrie the truth. To come clean but you know what they say a hard head will make a soft behind!!! So when part 2 opened up I was just like everyone else anxiously wondering how in the sam hill Ms. Latrice was going to keep one of our favorite couples together and help Aubrie get over this man's foolishness. Well I am happy to say that she didn't disappoint AT ALL!! My hat is off to Mr. Sameer he HANDLED HIS BUSINESS!! He meant exactly what he said and when Cherelle didn't want to abide by the leniency that he was willing to give her because of their past situation, he stepped up like the boss that he is and ELIMINATED THE PROBLEM(if you know what I mean)!!! Now Nina her mother Seth and Yazir. HUNTIII(I got to bring out my inner drag queen alter ego Boonquisha to explain this one!) This was some STRAIGHT FOOLISHNESS(and yes I included my signature death drop with that one)!!! Samantha was right up there first in line to receive the award for trifling mother of the year!!! There is no situation that I could ever imagine being in where I would knowingly place my child in harms way. This heifer knew that Seth was coo coo for cocoa puffs and yet she called her daughter Nina over knowing what was about to take place. If Seth was willing to do what he did to her and she had ALWAYS been his little cheerleader, what in the world did she think he was going to do to Nina, the very person who got fed up with all of his ish???? Her convuluted thinking made my whole a** ITCH!!!! But babee(that's in my New Orleans voice) when I say that Yazir is the MAN 100 GRAND!!!! Of course he was on point he was able to immediately sense that something was wrong with Nina and of course he did his thing as the MAN!!! Okay Ms. Caroline is going to be a whole set of problems. This heifer really got my goat with her shenanigans. Let me vent for a second!! Where do they make these women who won't respect the man that is in a committed relationship and is willing to do everything within his power to do the right thing???(Oh I forgot they were born in the land of THOTVILLE!!!!! LOL). Gabrielle got exactly what she deserved and then some. Just telling lies and living in this delusional world that cost her, her most precious gift. But again Yazir was on top of that whole situation and peeped game long before the craziness could really touch Aubrie. Madison and Dasey I'm not too sure about. I am going to reserve myself and see what Ms. Latrice has in store for us in part 3. All in all this young lady did her thing with this book. She keeps getting better, and better, and better, and better, okay I know y'all get the point but I need to make it very plain and clear!!! YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!! The writing, the level of complexity of the characters is sheer genius. I know that when I pick up a Shvonne Latrice book I am going to walk away with one thing: the feeling of wanting MORE!!! The editing was GRADE A and the power that Ms. Latrice exudes while telling her story allows the reader to escape from the everyday existence of their lives. Kudos Ms. Latrice and keep cranking out these hits. If I could give a million stars I would do it without giving it a second thought because Ms. Latrice hit this so far out of the ball park she is making it difficult for ANYBODY to catch up!!!!

I'm at at lost for words. This book was better than the first one. Kirk and Todd was asking for just what they bout to get. I hope this relationship with Madison and Dasey work out. I'm so glad Yaz got rid of that headache Gabi! People keep coming for him left and right. Caroline better watch her self. It's just so much going on but I love it. Oh yeah Nina's mom is a snake. Keep up the good work Shvonne Latrice! You have not let me down yet.

I liked how Yazir was trying to show discipline when it came to the other women those birds were coo coo for cocoa puffs for real. Nina really stepped her game up and I'm happy I didn't have a mom like hers. I'm glad that Sameer got his stuff together for Audrie. I can't wait for part three.

Started right where book 1 left off. Great read, plot and storyline on point. I just wished there wasn't a need for a part 3. I was glad the author gave us more insight from some of the other characters.
